Ellie was great. Came round at arranged time for a pre-meet and was very professional and organised gathering the information she needed. She was flexible and accommodating in meeting our cats particular needs and I felt confident entrusting our cat and home to her while we were away. Our cat is quite timid but was a fan of Ellie, choosing to sit in her lap for a cuddle which is rare. Really appreciated the photos to give us peace of mind that our beloved cat was well and happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to use again and to recommend.

About: I love dogs and our beloved Cavalier King Charles spaniel passed away in November at the age of 16 after many wonderful adventures together. I often look after my friends and family dogs including spaniels, a golden retriever, and a westie. They get plenty of walkies and snuggles! I work from home full time for myself so I am totally flexible when it comes to pet care. I can take time out for walks (and cuddles!) and whatever the dog needs. When I look after a dog, I treat them as my own. We can go on walks if they need them - I have a park and a walking trail just down the road from me so plenty of variety. They are welcome on the sofa, bed or wherever they want in the house. We can play with toys or just snuggle together in front of the TV. I’m completely flexible so can keep their regular routine.

About: Hi, I’m Millie - a lifelong dog lover with years of personal experience caring for pups of all shapes, sizes, and ages 🐶 I grew up in a dog-filled household where we often had three dogs at a time, ranging from playful puppies to senior companions. I’ve always been involved in their care—feeding, walking, training, and most importantly, giving them the love and attention they deserve. I now live with my partner in our own home, and we don’t have any pets of our own (yet!). We both really miss having a furry friend around, and dog sitting is the perfect way to share our love for dogs while helping pet parents feel at ease when they’re away. Both me and my partner work from home, so your pup will have lots of company, playtime, and cuddles. I occasionally head out for short community visits as part of my job, but I’m never gone for more than two hours at a time. Your dog’s comfort, routine, and safety will always be my top priority. I will always be transparent, ask permission, and communicate well. I will always treat your pet like my own and ensure they are well cared for and loved. We have an enclosed back garden so your pup will be safe having toilet breaks and play time outside.

About: Hi, I’m a dog owner and animal lover with two dogs of my own — Henry, a 12-year-old spaniel, and Bob, a 2-year-old beagle. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with dogs and often look after friends’ pets when they need a hand. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely care about making sure every dog feels comfortable and well looked after have a flexible weekly routine, which means I can easily fit in walks or longer pet-sitting stays. Whether it’s regular care or helping out at short notice, I’m happy to adapt to what works best for you and your dog! I’m reliable and have a good understanding of different dog behaviours. My beagle can be reactive, so I’m experienced in managing dogs who need a bit of extra patience and awareness on walks. I also understand the needs of older dogs — my spaniel has arthritis — so I can adjust pace and care to suit dogs of any age. I’m trustworthy, calm, and caring, and I always make sure each dog feels safe and comfortable

About: 2 previous dogs (Border Collies) from ~6 weeks old. Dog owner for 30 years and lots of previous dog sitting including multiple puppies! Experience from house-sitting with pets all over the world, but now settled in Sheffield. My girlfriend and I both work from home, so we're often available throughout the week. We're also self employed and have flexible schedules. We go on regular daily walks, so a dog or two tagging along would be no problem at all! Different owners have different requirements and special needs. We'll find out how they're trained, fed, held etc. Otherwise, they'll get lots of interaction and exercise through walks, plays, and cuddles!

About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend my life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes – from playful pups and cuddly cats to tropical fish, and even bees! 🐝 Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands-on experience looking after dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve also trained my own dogs, which means I understand how important patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are. Whether it’s a puppy learning the ropes, or an older dog who needs a gentler pace, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs. With bees, I’ve learned the importance of calm handling, respect, and attentiveness – skills I bring to all the pets I care for. Safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable are always my top priorities. Your furry (or finned!) family member will be cared for as if they were my own – with love, attention, and plenty of fun. A Day in My Care 🐾 • Morning Walks (7am – 9am): A refreshing start to the day with plenty of exercise, sniffing, and tail wags. Perfect for dogs who like to burn off energy first thing. Session length can be discussed. • Midday Visits (11am – 2pm): Feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, or a calm walk — tailored to your pet’s routine. • Afternoon Adventures (3pm – 5pm): Shorter walks as welcome as the longer ones, or quieter sessions in the garden depending on your dog’s needs. • Evening Check-Ins (6pm – 8pm): Dinner, toilet breaks, and some quiet companionship to wind down. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I understand how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. • Safety: I keep walks controlled, calm, and enjoyable. I only use secure leads and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always pay attention to your dog’s comfort and limits. It’s always good to get to know your dog beforehand so let me know what they’re like both inside and outside, any behavioural quirks or anything else you might think useful. • Trust: Animals respond best when they feel safe and respected. I will take time to get to know your pet’s personality so they can relax and enjoy themselves while you’re away. • Environment: I adapt to your pet’s routine and surroundings to reduce stress and keep things familiar. Walks can be energetic adventures or calm strolls, depending on what your dog needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with patience, consistency, and kindness — as if they were my own.

About: I have had and looked after many animals (mainly rescues) since I could walk. I have extensive experience with dogs and have grown up around cats. I have been pet sitting in Melbourne Australia for the last 3 years and love working with my clients regularly to help their dogs feel settled while they are away. I have worked with all sorts of dogs from chilled out sleepy pooches to angsty or nervous pets! I am currently searching for jobs so am available all the time (just studying online), however I normally would be working part time. These shifts are normally only a maximum of 5 hours as I work as a personal trainer, so your pet wouldn’t be on its own for long! I don’t offer dog sitting in my own home as I have a rescue dog who is not great with new dogs. However in your home I promise to leave it clean and tidy and make sure your pet gets all the attention and walks or pets they need!

About: I’ve always had family dogs growing up, I now have my own 2 little dogs (brother and sister) and can’t remember my life before I got them. I love being outside walking with them and also love company of other dogs. I’m currently a self employed cleaner with a few hours to spare in the day that would be taken up walking my dogs and I’d love to let another dog join us on our adventures. Whatever the owner wants me to do, I’ll do it. Specific needs will be met as I have a dog who has terrible allergy issues and has taken some time to adjust to diets. I know how difficult it can be.

About: I have always been a dog lover. I have a dog called Baxter who is 8 years old. He’s a large breed and I have looked after him since he was a little puppy. He’s energetic and forgets how big he is sometimes, so I know how to handle larger breeds. I am also making excuses up to go see my friends dogs, which range from tiny toy poodles to massive huskies. I am able to do any time any day of the week unless I have time booked off. My schedule is pretty much empty. :) I am flexible to suit your pets routine, whilst also respecting your house rules (no dogs on the sofa etc). I will ensure any messy your fur baby has made whilst I am there will be cleaned up and I will communicate with you with updates and reassurance.

About: Hello! I’m Brigid. I’m currently having a break from work, but can’t pull myself away totally, so am offering some pet sitting and dog walking hours. By nature of the job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately. I will be available most days, including the Christmas period and weekends. I’m an active walker regardless, and have lots of routes I can take your little one on with me. All whilst taking care of my own cat, Witchwitton! I currently cannot look after pets within my own home. All pet sits would need to occur within your home, but I am open to visiting multiple times a day or staying longer hours.

About: I have several years of experience with pets, mostly dogs but also small animals and cats. I have two family dogs that are working spaniels, so I’m used to high energy and finding ways to stimulate them! I also have experience with senior dogs and blind dogs, I am able to administer medication, give extra attention and any additional needs. I have also done volunteer days at different animal charities in which dog walking was a large part of - I have worked with dogs in muzzles, different behaviors and temperaments. Charity days also largely consist of cat sitting and socializing so I can also offer drop in visits to cats for playtime/feeding etc! This also applies to small animals - having two guinea pigs myself that are spoilt, I am more than happy to pop into your smaller pets for a check up / feed and snuggle! I work for a pet retailer, so my experience with pet handling and knowledge around pets is second to none. I would love to walk / pet sit during my time off as it fills my days! I do currently work in retail management. But would love the opportunity to start looking after pets with my time, I am quite flexible due to working shifts also. I can easily use a crate and have experience with crate training. The garden is secure and house is secure. I would recommend a good quality lead and harness for walks.
