We were apprehensive about leaving our rescue 8 month old kitten for the first time, but Evie came to visit and make friends with Patch the weekend before. We felt happy and confident and happy he'd get along fine. hShe kept us updated and sent photos of him looking happy with his treats. And even better he didn't seem that annoyed that we'd left him overnight :). Thanks Evie. First time leaving our 8 month old rescue kitten overnight, and we were a little apprehensive about leaving him. Evie came and visited to make friends with Patch beforehand which was great, and we felt confident he'd be fine with Evie visiting him whilst we were away. She kept us updated and sent photos of him looking happy with his treats. And even better he didn't seem that annoyed that we'd left him overnight when we got back :). Thanks Evie.

Ellie was great. Came round at arranged time for a pre-meet and was very professional and organised gathering the information she needed. She was flexible and accommodating in meeting our cats particular needs and I felt confident entrusting our cat and home to her while we were away. Our cat is quite timid but was a fan of Ellie, choosing to sit in her lap for a cuddle which is rare. Really appreciated the photos to give us peace of mind that our beloved cat was well and happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to use again and to recommend.

About: Hello! I’m Brigid. I’m currently having a break from work, but can’t pull myself away totally, so am offering some pet sitting and dog walking hours. By nature of the job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately. I will be available most days, including the Christmas period and weekends. I’m an active walker regardless, and have lots of routes I can take your little one on with me. All whilst taking care of my own cat, Witchwitton! I currently cannot look after pets within my own home. All pet sits would need to occur within your home, but I am open to visiting multiple times a day or staying longer hours.

About: I have had and looked after many animals (mainly rescues) since I could walk. I have extensive experience with dogs and have grown up around cats. I have been pet sitting in Melbourne Australia for the last 3 years and love working with my clients regularly to help their dogs feel settled while they are away. I have worked with all sorts of dogs from chilled out sleepy pooches to angsty or nervous pets! I am currently work part time with some study online, which can be done from home. My shifts are normally only a maximum of 5 hours as I work as a personal trainer, so your pet wouldn’t be on its own for long! I don’t offer dog sitting in my own home as I have a rescue dog who is not great with new dogs. However in your home I promise to leave it clean and tidy and make sure your pet gets all the attention and walks or pets they need!

About: I have always been a dog lover. I have a dog called Baxter who is 8 years old. He’s a large breed and I have looked after him since he was a little puppy. He’s energetic and forgets how big he is sometimes, so I know how to handle larger breeds. I am also making excuses up to go see my friends dogs, which range from tiny toy poodles to massive huskies. I am able to do any time any day of the week unless I have time booked off. My schedule is pretty much empty. :) I am flexible to suit your pets routine, whilst also respecting your house rules (no dogs on the sofa etc). I will ensure any messy your fur baby has made whilst I am there will be cleaned up and I will communicate with you with updates and reassurance.

About: 2 previous dogs (Border Collies) from ~6 weeks old. Dog owner for 30 years and lots of previous dog sitting including multiple puppies! Experience from house-sitting with pets all over the world, but now settled in Sheffield. My girlfriend and I both work from home, so we're often available throughout the week. We're also self employed and have flexible schedules. We go on regular daily walks, so a dog or two tagging along would be no problem at all! Different owners have different requirements and special needs. We'll find out how they're trained, fed, held etc. Otherwise, they'll get lots of interaction and exercise through walks, plays, and cuddles!

About: Hi! I’m a dependable, experienced pet sitter with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. From tiny Chihuahuas to giant Newfoundlands, I’m comfortable and confident working with dogs of every breed, age, and temperament. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks, and I always focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. I understand how important routines are, so I closely follow feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any special instructions you provide. In addition to dogs, I have extensive experience caring for cats, horses, and farm animals, which has made me highly attentive, calm under pressure, and great at reading animal behavior. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or high-energy, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own and pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and respectful of your home. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pets! I work remotely for my family-run business, which gives me full flexibility in both my schedule and location. This allows me to tailor my workday around your pet’s needs rather than the other way around. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to provide consistent companionship during house sitting, timely drop-in visits, and reliable dog walks throughout the day. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medication timings, walks, playtime, and any special routines that help your pets feel comfortable and secure. My priority is making sure your animals receive attentive, unrushed care while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I believe pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own home environment, which is why I exclusively provide care in your pet’s home. This allows them to stick to familiar routines, surroundings, and comforts while you’re away, reducing stress and helping them feel secure. I have many years of experience caring for pets in their own homes, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful, and treat every home with the same care and discretion I would expect for my own. From daily routines to home security, everything is handled with professionalism and attention to detail. Your peace of mind is important to me. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication, so you always know how your pets are doing. You can trust that your animals are safe, well cared for, and receiving attentive, loving care in the place they feel most comfortable.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have 2 cats and a dog currently. I got my dog 4 years ago. I trained him from a puppy. I have a level 3 degree in animal management and also volunteering experience in a vets practice. I have a massive heart for all animals big or small. I am currently working part-time so have plenty of time to look after all pups and kittens. I will work my pet sitting around my hours at work but since I only work part time I have loads of time to spare. I take my dog for walks everyday but due to him loving his sleep he sleeps most of the day. Due to me not offering pet sitting in my home. I will feed, sit, play and walk dogs and cats from the comfort of owners homes. Since being around dogs and carts nearly my whole life I have loads of experience of how to properly take care of animals.

About: I have several years of experience with pets, mostly dogs but also small animals and cats. I have two family dogs that are working spaniels, so I’m used to high energy and finding ways to stimulate them! I also have experience with senior dogs and blind dogs, I am able to administer medication, give extra attention and any additional needs. I have also done volunteer days at different animal charities in which dog walking was a large part of - I have worked with dogs in muzzles, different behaviors and temperaments. Charity days also largely consist of cat sitting and socializing so I can also offer drop in visits to cats for playtime/feeding etc! This also applies to small animals - having two guinea pigs myself that are spoilt, I am more than happy to pop into your smaller pets for a check up / feed and snuggle! I work for a pet retailer, so my experience with pet handling and knowledge around pets is second to none. I would love to walk / pet sit during my time off as it fills my days! I do currently work in retail management. But would love the opportunity to start looking after pets with my time, I am quite flexible due to working shifts also. I can easily use a crate and have experience with crate training. The garden is secure and house is secure. I would recommend a good quality lead and harness for walks.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend my life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes – from playful pups and cuddly cats to tropical fish, and even bees! 🐝 Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands-on experience looking after dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve also trained my own dogs, which means I understand how important patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are. Whether it’s a puppy learning the ropes, or an older dog who needs a gentler pace, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs. With bees, I’ve learned the importance of calm handling, respect, and attentiveness – skills I bring to all the pets I care for. Safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable are always my top priorities. Your furry (or finned!) family member will be cared for as if they were my own – with love, attention, and plenty of fun. A Day in My Care 🐾 • Morning Walks (7am – 9am): A refreshing start to the day with plenty of exercise, sniffing, and tail wags. Perfect for dogs who like to burn off energy first thing. Session length can be discussed. • Midday Visits (11am – 2pm): Feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, or a calm walk — tailored to your pet’s routine. • Afternoon Adventures (3pm – 5pm): Shorter walks as welcome as the longer ones, or quieter sessions in the garden depending on your dog’s needs. • Evening Check-Ins (6pm – 8pm): Dinner, toilet breaks, and some quiet companionship to wind down. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I understand how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. • Safety: I keep walks controlled, calm, and enjoyable. I only use secure leads and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always pay attention to your dog’s comfort and limits. It’s always good to get to know your dog beforehand so let me know what they’re like both inside and outside, any behavioural quirks or anything else you might think useful. • Trust: Animals respond best when they feel safe and respected. I will take time to get to know your pet’s personality so they can relax and enjoy themselves while you’re away. • Environment: I adapt to your pet’s routine and surroundings to reduce stress and keep things familiar. Walks can be energetic adventures or calm strolls, depending on what your dog needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with patience, consistency, and kindness — as if they were my own.

About: Hi! 👋 A little bit about me…I’ve grown up with animals in my life and have had pets since age of 5. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always naturally had an affinity for animals. I have experience looking after kittens, puppies, cats as well as dogs. I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. If you have any questions at all - feel free to message me. I currently work from home so have now got increased capacity to make weekly trips to look after other peoples pets. Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets. Caring for each pet is different and I am more than happy to meet requirements of each pet’s specific needs and routine alongside providing a watchful eye and fulfilling their personal interactive needs such as cuddles/petting, treats, and continuing their training as requested.
