About: HELLO! My name is Ollie and I pride myself on having a natural way with animals, being able to build fun and trusting relationships with them instantly, understanding their personalities and needs. I have over 10 years experience looking after dogs; sitting, walking, cleaning up after and playing with a range of breeds. Me and my family had the privilege of having a beautiful female border collie in our family for 10 years (see photos), which, caring for such a high maintenance breed has set me up perfectly to care for any other dog! I helped run a dog kennels for half a year where I would I care for 30 to 60 dogs and cats at a time. I was responsible for cleaning up after them all, walking them in turns, providing adequate care and company, and feeding and watering. I wanted to give equal attention to every single one of them. But being in charge of so many meant I wasn't often able to, so I hope through Rover I can get chance to give your animals all the love and attention they need. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding my experience or availability. I hope to hear from you (and your pets) soon! I'm currently working at a bar locally and work sporadic hours. My availability is pretty vast at the moment, with often full days available to pet sit. I have plenty of nights free, too, even when working a close I'm often home by 9.30 When visiting your animals I will always provide them with genuine care and company. I will be able to read their needs, ensuring they always get the exercise, food, water and toilet breaks they need (maybe even the odd treat or two 👀). My brother also has a young black lab who lives down the road, so if desired there can be opportunities for socialising! I currently live with my parents, so boarding at my own home isn't always an option. But when it is, we have large fenced front and back gardens, live a 3 minute walk from playing fields (our colliers favourite place) and a large and open inside space that's always kept clean and tidy and free of hazards!

About: 2 previous dogs (Border Collies) from ~6 weeks old. Dog owner for 30 years and lots of previous dog sitting including multiple puppies! Experience from house-sitting with pets all over the world, but now settled in Sheffield. My girlfriend and I both work from home, so we're often available throughout the week. We're also self employed and have flexible schedules. We go on regular daily walks, so a dog or two tagging along would be no problem at all! Different owners have different requirements and special needs. We'll find out how they're trained, fed, held etc. Otherwise, they'll get lots of interaction and exercise through walks, plays, and cuddles!

About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend my life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes – from playful pups and cuddly cats to tropical fish, and even bees! 🐝 Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands-on experience looking after dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve also trained my own dogs, which means I understand how important patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are. Whether it’s a puppy learning the ropes, or an older dog who needs a gentler pace, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs. With bees, I’ve learned the importance of calm handling, respect, and attentiveness – skills I bring to all the pets I care for. Safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable are always my top priorities. Your furry (or finned!) family member will be cared for as if they were my own – with love, attention, and plenty of fun. A Day in My Care 🐾 • Morning Walks (7am – 9am): A refreshing start to the day with plenty of exercise, sniffing, and tail wags. Perfect for dogs who like to burn off energy first thing. Session length can be discussed. • Midday Visits (11am – 2pm): Feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, or a calm walk — tailored to your pet’s routine. • Afternoon Adventures (3pm – 5pm): Shorter walks as welcome as the longer ones, or quieter sessions in the garden depending on your dog’s needs. • Evening Check-Ins (6pm – 8pm): Dinner, toilet breaks, and some quiet companionship to wind down. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I understand how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. • Safety: I keep walks controlled, calm, and enjoyable. I only use secure leads and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always pay attention to your dog’s comfort and limits. It’s always good to get to know your dog beforehand so let me know what they’re like both inside and outside, any behavioural quirks or anything else you might think useful. • Trust: Animals respond best when they feel safe and respected. I will take time to get to know your pet’s personality so they can relax and enjoy themselves while you’re away. • Environment: I adapt to your pet’s routine and surroundings to reduce stress and keep things familiar. Walks can be energetic adventures or calm strolls, depending on what your dog needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with patience, consistency, and kindness — as if they were my own.

About: Since a child I have always had pets. I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish. The home is not the same without a pet. I currently have an indoor rabbit and often look after my mums cocker spaniel when needed. I work in term time as a teaching assistant but I am available before and after work, at weekends and I’m available at anytime throughout the school holidays. I have pet sat for many friends and family since I was 14, including dogs, cats and rabbits. This has involved, walking, feeding, cleaning out and spending lots of time with them whilst their owner is out for the night or away on holiday. I absolutely love spending time with animals and I’ve always been comfortable around all animals.

Ellie is amazing! Her love, care and passion for animals is second to none. When meeting Ellie for the first time, she instantly made us feel at ease, our puppy Ralphy instantly fell asleep in her arms! Ellie made sure to understand and implement our routines for consistency for our puppy and also gave equal attention to our two cats. We absolutely will be booking in again with Ellie, cannot recommend her enough!

About: I am an experienced dog handler (full-time DBS checked teacher) who works as a dog walker/sitter ( in others' homes) during the School Summer and other holidays. I have successfully completed an animal First Aid and CPR course. I have rehomed several dogs from rescue charities such as Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue and the Retired Greyhounds Trust. Currently, I have one dog, a friendly rescued greyhound called Aramis, rehomed from Jerry Green. Also an allotment holder, with an interest in growing organically, this means I often bake homemade dog treats with honey and organic vegetables as an additional treat during the Summer months when produce is available. Whilst I'm a houndie person, I have no breed prejudices - dogs respond to pack leadership and loving but firm training. I DO prefer that dogs are responsibly neutered/spayed and are up to date with healthcare and vaccinations, however. I available any days over the Summer holidays, including the August Bank Holiday Weekend Over the Summer and other school holidays, your pets receive undivided full-time attention and care I have plenty of time for walks, petcare and treats Ensuring veterinary details, owners' instructions, plenty of fresh water, the right food and treats, exercise, care, and company in a safe environment for your dogs.

About: Hi! 👋 A little bit about me…I’ve grown up with animals in my life and have had pets since age of 5. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always naturally had an affinity for animals. I have experience looking after kittens, puppies, cats as well as dogs. I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. If you have any questions at all - feel free to message me. I currently work from home so have now got increased capacity to make weekly trips to look after other peoples pets. Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets. Caring for each pet is different and I am more than happy to meet requirements of each pet’s specific needs and routine alongside providing a watchful eye and fulfilling their personal interactive needs such as cuddles/petting, treats, and continuing their training as requested.
