4. Grace O.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had a dog in the house since I was 8. They have all been rescue dogs so came with their own different needs and attentions. I am currently doing course on pet care but I am very happy and comfortable with dogs and am happy to suit their needs I currently work from home and have no other commitments so am extremely flexible to your needs. If it’s day care I can set up with wifi. I love being outdoors so will be more than happy to walk your dog however long is needed. I am more than happy to spend hours playing with your dog or spend hours comforting them. Whatever is needed to suit your pets needs.

5. David C.
About: A lifelong love for all animals but especially dogs and as a regular long distance walker (with big pockets for treats) my fitness would never be in question. I will be retiring from my present position as a postman this year (2023) so will be able to be hired on a moments notice. Caring for other peoples pets would be on the owners terms and the time spent in their homes would be with the utmost respect and care.

6. James C.

“Brilliant with dogs, firm but patient and attentive to their needs. Know a lot about dogs and was Mum to Ronny who was her first dog from a child to an adult. Currently carer to Bruce, an American Staffy. Also loves cats.”

8. Sharon H.
“My dog means the world to me, he's basically my child. When Sharon and Paul looked after him whilst on my holiday I gave them instructions about his routine and his commands. My boy Neiko was walked 2/3 times a day and had plenty of room to exercise in their safe high walled garden. He had the roam of the house but was comfortable been with them in their living room/ large kitchen. They have structure not decipline and plenty of experience having had dogs themselves and looking after family dogs. They are caring in nature and I will/would leave Neiko with them feeling happy and satisfied he is safe and happy with them.”

9. Roland V.
“I've known Roland for a long time and I can easily say the he absolutely loves his dog more than anything. I've never seen anybody so patient and caring towards a pet, so I'm sure he will make an excellent and responsible pet sitter. I've seen him care for cats and dogs alike, and he is great at it.”

10. Liz H.
About: Dogs came into my life in 1979 when I was 12. My mum came home with a rescued Yorkshire Terrier because we loved her so much we added another Yorkie and a German Shepherd to our family. I have had dogs ever since. I have two dogs of my own - both rescued and have done a lot of volunteering for Pug Dog Welfare. I have a lot of experience and knowledge and am aware of a dogs wants and daily needs. My dogs sleep on the bed with me ( they are actually quite spoilt!) , get a huge amount of attention and are walked every day. You can expect the same treatment for your dogs when staying with me. I’m currently working part time from home but have plenty of time to see to the needs of your dog 😊 My dogs are walked twice a day before work and after with regular comfort breaks. I have two friendly small dogs: a pug and a Brussels Griffon both rescued. We have a walled garden and a courtyard that the dogs can use. I am happy to sit dogs from the same family. I have used crates in the past and am happy to use a crate if that’s one of your normal practices.

11. Charlie M.
“I was worried about getting the right dog walker for my dog, who was a shy and nervous rescue we bought over from Africa however; Charlie came recommended by a friend and I am so glad that we found her. Charlie was very patient with and committed to our dog, who now loves her to bits. He always looks forward to seeing her and going out with her, this alone lets us know we made a good choice in trusting Charlie, especially as our dog is still nervous around other people we see quite often. As well as our dog trusting her, we were filled with confidence thanks to her sending us pictures of them out together on walks and giving us regular updates on how things were going. Charlie kept us fully informed if there was anything new he encountered that frightened him, such as seeing someone on a mobility scooter; people fishing or children playing on bikes or football. When this happened Charlie would try her hardest to ensure this was kept to a minimum but advised us on how we could help him to become more confident around such things. Our little boy is really making fantastic progress and gaining in confidence, Charlie has been a real help and supporter with this and I have no hesitation in recommending Charlie. We trust her implicitly.”

12. Lea S.
“Léa has always had a caring love of all animals, domestic, farm and wild. She was raised to respect all life. Early family life was mostly concerned with cats and kittens. As she entered her early teens I decided to rescue a large standard poodle/german shepherd cross who had already been rehomed and then sadly returned as unsuitable. He(Teddy) has been the the best animal I have had the privilege to share my life with. At first, Léa was worried for the family cats, she soon observed that dogs are more trainable and biddable than cats. This early experience at home led to a change of allegiance, though she still likes cats she finds the training and care of dogs more rewarding. She gained alot of experience managing Teddy and since leaving home to study and live in Derbyshire she has successfully bred and raised a large litter of working strain Labradors. She also has dog out to stud. I know Léa has all the skills necessary to be a loving petcare giver. Paul”

13. Romy L.
“Romy walks our dog Jumble to the local parks and she knows all his quirky habits. She is very loving with him and he adores her. She is responsible and resourceful and I completely trust her with him. She is a kind and careful young person, loves dogs and kids, and has done babysitting and childcare for four years for several families in the neighbourhood.”

14. Polina B.
“Polina helped to look after my chihuahua and bunny when i went away for 4 nights. My daughter was staying in the house during the night but worked full time so couldn't provide the care that was needed for them in the day. So Polina came round twice a day at 10am and 3pm for an hour to play with Charlie and go on a walk with him. She also fed the bunny and made sure he got some exercise in the garden too. I got lots of great photo updates and Polinas communication was great , i will definitely be asking her to sit with my furballs again.”

15. Ella C.
“Ella and Olivia were absolutely amazing. It's such a blessing to be able to go on a holiday and not be concerned about the wellbeing of your pets. They provided daily updates of them on walks or beach adventures and reached out if they were unsure about anything. These two showed a very genuine love of animals and we will absolutely try to use them again. They also left the house and car in better condition than we left it. We couldn't recommend them highly enough! Thanks so much girls! Our two babies will miss you.”

16. Molly W.
“Molly is an exceptional pet caregiver. She is loving, responsible, kind and extremely trustworthy. My 2 dogs adore her and I would definitely recommend her.”

17. Adam P.
“Adam and Julia are both lovely people and excellent house and pet-sitters. They've stayed in my home twice so far and for 2-3 weeks at a time looking after our dogs, fish and chickens. I know I can confidently leave my pets and my home with them, and I get regular updates and pictures of what's going on while I'm away. I hope they come back again!”

19. Amy F.
“Amy has previously looked after my 2 cats on several occasions, she is a very caring person and I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in her care. I now have a dog and Amy has boarded him at her house which has proved very successful especially as he is a nervous dog and she coped very well with him and gave him the care, attention and love he needed. I would not hesitate in recommending Amy as a pet sitter as she is a true caring and honest person who I would trust implicitly with my pets.”
