About: I have owned and cared for a variety of different dog breeds over the years and currently run my own business offering dog walking and pet sitting services in the Derbyshire Dales. I also volunteer at a local Animal Rescue Centre as a dog walker. The majority of my experience for home and pet sitting has been for family and friends however recently house/dog sat over a weekend for a Labrador Retriever near Ashbourne. I will also be sitting for a dachshund and cat in Llandeilo for a week in May. I am kind, honest, trustworthy and feel at ease with dogs of all kind and am able to adapt to new surroundings easily. About: Retired professional and life long dog owner/lover. I can offer a your dog a home from home dog care experience, contact me with your requirements. I can offer dog walking, house visits and overnight stays, either at your home or mine. I am DBS checked (August 2021) and am fully insured to provide dog care services. As I am now retired from my 9 to 5 job I have plenty of time to accommodate dog sitting/walking, depending upon the number of weekly/daily bookings. Dogs will be treated as if my own in both the dogs own home and my own. The front and rear of my property is fenced/gated.

About: Hi! 👋 A little bit about me…I’ve grown up with animals in my life and have had pets since age of 5. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always naturally had an affinity for animals. I have experience looking after kittens, puppies, cats as well as dogs. I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. If you have any questions at all - feel free to message me. I currently work from home so have now got increased capacity to make weekly trips to look after other peoples pets. Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets. Caring for each pet is different and I am more than happy to meet requirements of each pet’s specific needs and routine alongside providing a watchful eye and fulfilling their personal interactive needs such as cuddles/petting, treats, and continuing their training as requested.

About: 2 previous dogs (Border Collies) from ~6 weeks old. Dog owner for 30 years and lots of previous dog sitting including multiple puppies! Experience from house-sitting with pets all over the world, but now settled in Sheffield. My girlfriend and I both work from home, so we're often available throughout the week. We're also self employed and have flexible schedules. We go on regular daily walks, so a dog or two tagging along would be no problem at all! Different owners have different requirements and special needs. We'll find out how they're trained, fed, held etc. Otherwise, they'll get lots of interaction and exercise through walks, plays, and cuddles!

About: My love for dogs started where my family kept our family horses, there were 3 dogs (beagle, springer & Romanian rescue) so I spent lots of time with the dogs. In 2021 I began a role as a Theatre Technician for a Veterinary referral hospital where I primarily looked after sterile services for the hospital but around this, I assisted the nurses and surgeons in caring for dogs in other areas of the practice of all sizes up to Great Danes and Bernese Mountains dogs! Since, I have done 21 sits through Trusted House Sitters, of which, 12 were dog sits. I am happy to share my 5 star reviews from these. I have sat for a range of dog breeds such as Poodles, Chihuahuas, Chow Chow, Husky, Dalmation, Pomeranian, Corgi, Greyhounds and more! Through house sitting I have looked after dogs with special requirements such as post spinal surgery. I have completed my pet first aid course. I currently available for care Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays anytime during the day/ evening and over night. Midweek I am available from 5pm onwards but I am willing to consider care outside of these times if I have prior warning. Holiday rate (Double Rate) applies for overnight sits going into and on the night of Bank Holidays & between the 22 December - 4th January. Rover does not let you specify dates for holiday rates, please note I will manually change the rate to reflect bank holiday rates upon booking request. I will often come to house sit with my husband who:
- Has had cats his whole life too
- Looks after his mums Bengal cat when she is away so is used to raw feed routines and unique species of cats.
- Helped to care for Cassie’s FIV cat Rambo. 
- Owns 2 domestic long hair cats with me now 
- Has owned hamsters so is used to smaller animals and their needs 
- Tom I had hugely helped Cassie caring for her parents two horses over the years so is horse aware .
Tom is happy to meet pet parents before a sit too. Please let me know if Tom coming with me to a sit will be an issue before booking / commencement of the sit. I have done various care routines for these house sits so I am comfortable with raw or specialist feeding routines; walks up to 3 dogs at a time, crating, commands/ instructions and care of any injuries as well as administering medication. I am happy to provide updates morning and evening. What I can offer on overnight house sitting: - Feeding PM & AM (please check special requirements beforehand) - 1 x 30 minute walk PM & 1 x 30 minute walk AM (please inform me if your dog has specific times to their routine beforehand or if your dog requires longer walks) - Fresh water putting down - Plenty of playtime (if dog requires) - Plenty of cuddles! - Grooming (if required) - Letting out before bedtime etc, crating On a drop in visit: sitting: - Feeding (please check special requirements beforehand) - Fresh water putting down - Playtime (if dog requires) - Plenty of cuddles! - Grooming (if required) - Letting out for toilet break

About: I have looked after animals for many years and have experience in providing a loving home for whilst they are with us , my children also love animals and will happily walk and care for them with me 😍 I’m a self employed hairdresser so have plenty of time to care for animals on my time , if I’m not at home my partner will be I have a fenced garden and a partner plus three children old enough to help me look after you’re fury friend in a comfortable home 😍

About: Since a child I have always had pets. I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish. The home is not the same without a pet. I currently have an indoor rabbit and often look after my mums cocker spaniel. I work in term time as a teaching assistant three days a week but I am available after work on those days, I am available at weekends and anytime throughout the school holidays. I have pet sat for many friends and family since I was 14, including dogs, cats and rabbits. This has involved, walking, feeding, cleaning out and spending lots of time with them whilst their owner is out for the night or away on holiday. I absolutely love spending time with animals and I’ve always been comfortable around all animals.

About: I am an experienced dog handler (full-time DBS checked teacher) who works as a dog walker/sitter ( in others' homes) during the School Summer and other holidays. I have successfully completed an animal First Aid and CPR course. I have rehomed several dogs from rescue charities such as Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue and the Retired Greyhounds Trust. Currently, I have one dog, a friendly rescued greyhound called Aramis, rehomed from Jerry Green. Also an allotment holder, with an interest in growing organically, this means I often bake homemade dog treats with honey and organic vegetables as an additional treat during the Summer months when produce is available. Whilst I'm a houndie person, I have no breed prejudices - dogs respond to pack leadership and loving but firm training. I DO prefer that dogs are responsibly neutered/spayed and are up to date with healthcare and vaccinations, however. I available any days over the Summer holidays, including the August Bank Holiday Weekend Over the Summer and other school holidays, your pets receive undivided full-time attention and care I have plenty of time for walks, petcare and treats Ensuring veterinary details, owners' instructions, plenty of fresh water, the right food and treats, exercise, care, and company in a safe environment for your dogs.

About: I started taking care of dogs when I lived in Australia as a way to travel the country, and fell in love! I’m back home now and keen to meet new dogs and people. I work part time at a cafe from 11-4:30, so I have time in the mornings and late afternoon for walks, feeding, toilet time or just to hang out and play! I’m also free every weekend. I will not be able to look after dogs in my own home unfortunately so will not be able to answer this question at this current time.
