10. Alex W.
About: Me and my partner have looked after family pets our whole life. My partner has a level 3 in dog grooming as she loves caring for animals We’ve recently had a baby and my partner is currently on maternity leave so most days there is someone in the house for our dog Ruben. Around 4 days a month he does go to our parents house when we aren’t in! We will set our days for when there is someone home Our dog is the centre of our attention at all times making sure he is always safe and not chewing or doing anything that can cause harm to himself! We live in a fenced property and have baby gates so we can segregate parts of the house off when we are busy! He is also crate trained so when he is left alone he will go in his crate

11. Holly R.

“Absolutely brilliant, our dog is very nervous around new people and she was great and had nala out for a long walk, assisted with her food, and nala was comfortable to go to the toilet which is not like her as a nervous dog. Helped us last min! Defo using again”

About: I grew up with dogs and have had a dog in the house since I was 8. They have all been rescue dogs so came with their own different needs and attentions. I am currently doing course on pet care but I am very happy and comfortable with dogs and am happy to suit their needs I currently work from home and have no other commitments so am extremely flexible to your needs. If it’s day care I can set up with wifi. I love being outdoors so will be more than happy to walk your dog however long is needed. I am more than happy to spend hours playing with your dog or spend hours comforting them. Whatever is needed to suit your pets needs.

13. Lynn M.
“I entrusted my Spaniel, Daisy, with Lynn for a week while I had to dash down south to look after a poorly family member. Lynn was absolutely lovely and incredibly understanding during a difficult time for me and made a stressful time far easier to bear, knowing Daisy was in safe and secure hands. When I collected Daisy, it was obvious she’d bonded with Lynn and I won’t be hesitating to leave her in her capable hands again. I came back to a very happy dog. Thanks so much, Lynn for your kindness and being so wonderful with Daisy.”

About: Hi there, I’m Katie! I have over ten years personal dog ownership experience, and have been active on Rover for the past two years now. For my friends and family and now some lovely clients through Rover, I am the go-to person to dog sit. I’ll love your dog as if they are my own and will send regular updates of photos and videos of what we get up to to keep you informed and also for you to see your pet happy at ease and very cared for. I’d love to help you out with your dog sit/ walk needs too and I also offer a dog/house sit option if you would like me to stay in your home during your time away to help your pooch feel more at home. Don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss your needs, I love meeting new pet owners and dogs! I’m currently hybrid working and will be home Fridays to Mondays, but please contact to arrange with me prior to making a booking your requested days. I have a fenced back garden for quick toilet breaks but live within a 30min walking distance to some fantastic parks your dogs will love exploring! My flat also has lots of space for your dogs to roam around and play in.

15. Thomas B.
“Tom looked after my Dachshund for a week, during that time I got lots of pics and updates. He was looked after and loved like one of his own and taken on lovely walks with Toms own dogs, who were a great influence on my young dog and helped him gain more confidence. I highly recommend Tom and will definitely use him again in future.”

17. Andy W.
About: We understand that your four-legged companions are more than just pets – they're cherished members of your family. Our mission is to provide top-notch care, love, and attention to your beloved pets, ensuring they receive the same level of care and comfort they're accustomed to at home. Founded by passionate pet enthusiasts, we were born out of a deep love for animals and a desire to create a safe and enjoyable environment for them. Our team is led by Andy, who has his own Spaniel, who is a high energy bundle of joy. Occasionally, if booking merit, Holly will perform drop ins. Andy's journey began with a simple dream: to offer a service that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of pet owners, providing a home away from home where tails wag and hearts melt. We treat each pet as an individual, tailoring our services to their unique needs, preferences, and personalities. Your pet's comfort and happiness are our top priorities. Having my own Springer means that I am out twice daily with her, and I can offer good availability around an existing dog walking commitment to my neighbour. With a Spaniel, I am keen to tire her out both mentally and physically. In addition to using a ball on the field, we have a 15m lead if recall is an issue, we also play 'find it' and practice commands to entry (sit, paw, down, role, crawl, beg etc) for treats.

18. Alex S.
“Alex is amazing! She is truly the most loving, kind caring person who absolutely adores animals especially dogs! I have known Alex for around 13 years and could not wish for a better friend/aunty to my children. Alex has x2 dogs of her own, one being a rescue, they are her world. She is a professional individual with a love of the outdoors, your dogs would be in the best hands ❤️”
