2. Zoe M.
“Zoe is amazing. She slotted the boys in at short notice and took great care of them. She went above and beyond and met them twice before the walk to ensure they were comfortable. They can be a challenge due to their age but she handled them perfectly. Both boys were really happy and enjoyed their time with Zoe. I will definitely book again in the future. Thank you 😊”

About: I have had pets great and small since the age of about 10. I currently have 2 house rabbits and a border collie. It might not sound like it works but it definitely does! I also regularly look after 3 senior Labrador ladies. I have decided to go back to university to become a children’s nurse so have a lot of down time to go for walks and play with puppies. I have a friendly collie if your dog enjoys a play mate but I can also walk dogs separately if required. I am able to do puppy visits and crate them if required.

10. Athene C.
About: Hi there! My name is Athene, I am an experienced animal carer. I have years of experience working with puppies, nervous and reactive dogs. I am trained in many aspects of veterinary care including administering medications, handling dogs with different needs and tolerances, canine behaviour and much more. I hold an up-to-date full canine first aid certificate. I first began my career with dogs, about 2-1/2 years ago, where I was working directly with a broad variety of dog breeds from Chihuahua to Leonbergers , with a vast variety of needs; including human and dog reactive dogs. From this experience I have learnt the behaviour within dogs. I am able to provide the dog what it needs by reading its body language the best that I can. My work experience has taught me that every animal has its own level of tolerance, and I believe allowing the dog to feel safe and comfortable- is first and foremost. If they want cuddles, they will ask... and of course I will be there to welcome them with open arms! I have my own dog, his name is Shadow. He is 2 year old neutered mixed breed whom is a dog loving bundle of love. (Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about him!). Within my house, I have a small sized, completely secure garden, which your dog will have access to. If your were to board your dog with me, overnight I would have your dog sleep in my bedroom with me, and have my dog sleep in the living room (he always sleeps in the living room, so this wont be new to him). This way I can keep a close eye on your dog, and means they are separated at night. I am very luckily to live in a beautiful area of South Yorkshire. I am surrounded by river walks, walking field paths and all-round nature which I thoroughly enjoy walking and the dogs LOVE IT! As mentioned I am able to administer medications, so even if you have a fussy pup, I have been trained on how to administer medication safely and effectively. Please feel free to drop me a message should you have any queries at all. It's important to find a sitter than its right for your pet, and also right for me! So please do not hesitate to ask! I run my business from home, which means I am available Monday - Sunday, at all times of the day. I have no upcoming holidays. If your dog is to stay with me, whether that be daycare or boarding, safety is always first. Your dog will always be feed separately from mine, including medications. Walks can also be separate, should that be necessary and/or at your request. Your pets requirements, should be communicated between you and I to ensure your pets has the best and most comfortable time! Your dogs well-being and safety will be the top priority, every-time without question. I have enzymatic urine cleaner after every stay, to eliminate any smell of any previous dog urine should there be any. I have two medium/large dog beds, including a medium sized crate should your dog need. If you have any special requirements please do not hesitate to ask, and if I can accommodate- I will!

About: I’m 28, moved from Australia for my husbands rugby career, I am home Monday - Sunday available anytime. We just sent our doggo home to Australia so I’m really missing my furry friend and I’d love the company. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life I don’t ever remembering NOT having a dog, we love all. I am extremely cautious and I know everything to keep your pet safe and happy I am a stay at home, so I’m available Monday - Sunday 24/7, I also can send photos and videos anytime you need me to. I am at home and every 2-3rd Sunday or so I have my husbands Rugby games. Our pup just left to Australia and I’m missing him so much. I know exactly how it feels to leave your pup in the hands of a sitter, I’ve been there- we used rover when we went back to Australia and it was important on both ends to ensure communication is key and the trust is built. I can text photos/ videos or even a video chat if you wanted. We live in a non smoker, child free , grassed and fenced off home which I can assure your pup will safe.
13. Emily S.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since the age of 16, mostly indoor cats, corn snakes, hamsters/gerbils & rats. I have 3 indoor cats, a Labrador & 2 fish. One of my cats is blind & has a replacement hip & back issues (all genetics), so I’m used to spoiling him & accommodating his medical requirements. The other 2 cats are younger & very fun & loving. I’ve had them all since kittens. They’re aged 7, 5 & 2. My Labrador is currently 8 months old. I feel I understand animals, their body language, what ‘normal’ behaviour is (I’ve had loads of cats growing up & each has been different!) & I’m good at picking up on any problems or mood changes. I’m sensitive to animals & their behaviour, never forcing them to come near me or doing anything they’re uncomfortable with. I’ll do anything to ensure the animals are happy & comfortable. I’ve got experience training my puppy Labrador & understand the requirements of puppies, so I’m happy to care for a puppy. Our Labrador attends gun dog training so I’d say I have an ‘above basic’ level of understanding of obedience training & happy to utilise this in dog walks if requested by you. I work a flexible part time job & happy to attend visits before & after work. I can make availability on weekends too, preferably early morning &/or late evening. Let me know your requirements & I will try my best to accommodate your pets. I will never commit if I can’t deliver the service. I request to meet your pets in your home prior to any care, drop ins or dog walks. This is to ensure I’m right for you, & you’re right for me. Once we’re all happy, I’d request you to complete a client pack. This consists of 5 forms & includes details of your pet, age, feeding details, habits, normal behaviour, any medication that needs issuing etc. It will also include your emergency contact info, vet release form incase your pet needs urgent vet care (this will always be run by you first). I will act as a temporary mum in your absence & follow your guidance & instruction. I’m happy to send photo’s & a video of your pet every visit to set your mind at ease & regular updates to reassure they’re okay. I know how it feels leaving animals with animal carers so this wouldn’t be a problem. If you have any questions about my care, please feel free to ask.
14. Alexandra N.
“This was my first experience using Rover and I couldn’t be happier to have found Alexandra. She was amazing with Norris (our mixed breed) who immediately bonded with her. Alex went above and beyond whilst taking Norris for walks, providing great photos and updates. I would highly recommend her to other pet owners and will be using Alex again for walks and dog care when needed.”

20. Nathan T.
“Nathan is such a kind, caring and fun loving soul weather it be towards animals or humans and I would absolutely and do absolutely trust him with our pets. Nathan understands the importance of routine, love, fun and exercise your pet will need. He is an extremely trustworthy and honest person with a huge amount of integrity. Nathan often cares for our puppy and keeps a diary of all the activities he's done with him including, naps, feeding and toileting.
