“Nicola has been walking both our whippets for a couple of months now and we couldn't be happier. Reliable, freindly and both dogs are loving getting the extra walks. Thank you Nicola!”

About: I have lived with dogs since I was 10 years old. We are a family of dog lovers and our dogs are our babies. I have now been dog sitting with my partner since November and we have cared for multiple dogs needing different levels of care. We have received multiple bookings and positive feedback from all of our clients. We have our own dog who we care for and walk every day. We have lots of ideas of dog walks and also know what it is like to care for a reactive dog as our dog can be anxious around other dogs. I provide regular updates to you as an owner as I know how important this is for you. Every dog we have cared for has become part of our family for the short time we’ve had them and we always miss them and hope to see them again soon! I am looking to earn some extra money pet sitting and dog walking. As I am a primary school teacher this is something that me and my partner are able to do on evenings, weekends or school holidays. We are eager to fit in pet care at weekends and school holidays as it is something we really enjoying doing. We can care for dogs in our own home due to our dog being reactive he would not be in our home and would be cared for by my partner’s mum who shares the dog with us at her home. We treat your dog like our own and the safety of your pet is of paramount importance. We always think about how we would want someone to care for our dog when caring for your pets. Our pets are our babies and when your pet stays with us we welcome them in as a member of our family.
“Figsy loves Nicola, she’s given us some great advice, he gets a lovely walk and she has lots of patience! Wouldn’t think twice about asking Nicola to dog sit or sending Figsy to Doggy Day Care. Thanks for everything 😁”

“Hannah was great, she stepped in at the last minute to walk our dog while we were away on holiday. We got regular updates and Dexter enjoyed his time with Hannah. We will definitely rebook when required.”
About: Hi! We’re Larna and Richard — a friendly, reliable couple based in Chesterfield who absolutely adore dogs. Whether you need last‑minute help or a regular go‑to sitter, we’re here to make sure your pup feel safe, loved, and completely at home. We both have a car so are able to travel if required. Between us we have 6+ years experience dog sitting. We are happy to provide references upon request. We are flexible so can offer a range of services that suit you and your fur baby, offering the best care to them and ensuring communication with you is priority. Because we both work shifts, our schedule is really flexible — and works perfectly for dog care. Most days, one of us is home, which means your dog will have company for the majority of the day. Richard works mostly early mornings and is usually home by 3:30/4pm at the latest. I work a mixture of shifts, with many of them being evenings. This means there’s almost always someone around, and on the rare occasions we’re both out, it’s only for short periods. We’re committed to keeping your dog’s routine consistent, comfortable, and stress‑free. If you need last‑minute care, our overlapping schedules make it easy for us to help. I think transparency is key and would prefer to inform owners about our work schedule so we can work together to ensure it's the right fit and I can offer as much reassurance as needed - your love and dedication to your fur baby, becomes ours when they stay with us! We’ve recently moved into a cosy end‑terraced house with a secure, private gated garden, which is perfect for dogs who enjoy fresh air, sniffing around, and relaxing outdoors. Safety is really important to us, so we always make sure the gate is locked and the garden is supervised during playtime. Inside, dogs have plenty of space to settle, explore, and get comfy. We keep our home calm and welcoming, and we’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — whether that’s crate time, sofa cuddles, set feeding times, or specific training cues. We’re lucky to have lots of lovely walks nearby, both within walking distance and just a short drive away. Whether your dog prefers quiet paths, open fields, or a steady neighbourhood stroll, we can match their pace and energy. Because we work different shifts, one of us is home most of the day, so your dog will rarely be left alone, and only ever for short periods. They’ll get lots of attention, fuss, and company throughout the day. We’re always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can see how they’re getting on.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend my life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes – from playful pups and cuddly cats to tropical fish, and even bees! 🐝 Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands-on experience looking after dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve also trained my own dogs, which means I understand how important patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are. Whether it’s a puppy learning the ropes, or an older dog who needs a gentler pace, I adapt to each animal’s unique needs. With bees, I’ve learned the importance of calm handling, respect, and attentiveness – skills I bring to all the pets I care for. Safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable are always my top priorities. Your furry (or finned!) family member will be cared for as if they were my own – with love, attention, and plenty of fun. A Day in My Care 🐾 • Morning Walks (7am – 9am): A refreshing start to the day with plenty of exercise, sniffing, and tail wags. Perfect for dogs who like to burn off energy first thing. Session length can be discussed. • Midday Visits (11am – 2pm): Feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, or a calm walk — tailored to your pet’s routine. • Afternoon Adventures (3pm – 5pm): Shorter walks as welcome as the longer ones, or quieter sessions in the garden depending on your dog’s needs. • Evening Check-Ins (6pm – 8pm): Dinner, toilet breaks, and some quiet companionship to wind down. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I understand how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. • Safety: I keep walks controlled, calm, and enjoyable. I only use secure leads and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always pay attention to your dog’s comfort and limits. It’s always good to get to know your dog beforehand so let me know what they’re like both inside and outside, any behavioural quirks or anything else you might think useful. • Trust: Animals respond best when they feel safe and respected. I will take time to get to know your pet’s personality so they can relax and enjoy themselves while you’re away. • Environment: I adapt to your pet’s routine and surroundings to reduce stress and keep things familiar. Walks can be energetic adventures or calm strolls, depending on what your dog needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with patience, consistency, and kindness — as if they were my own.
