“Simone took excellent care of my high energy 13-month-old working line German Shepherd Storm while we were away, Storm has lead reactivity and separation anxiety but Simone handled him perfectly, even when he barked initially Simone handled it with perfect calm confidence and made him feel safe and settled. She took him for plenty of walks and kept him cool in the heat, we came back to a well taken care of comfortable happy puppy, I can’t recommend Simone enough, we will certainly be booking her again in the future! About: Hi, I am Natalie I have a little Tibetan Spaniel called Bella, she is a massive part of our family and there is never a dull moment when she is around. She turns the incredible age of 18 in November! She does go to my parents as she is a family pet so this isn't a issue if dogs dont get on she will go to my mum and dad's house. I have a great experience with animals, often rescuing wild injured animals and also being a voulenteer for The Guide Dogs in chesterfield. I have owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies and dogs. I love hiking, yoga and swimming. I also have a big passion for travel our recent trip being America and visiting Yellowstone and Montana seeing the beautiful grizzly bears with their babies. Your beautiful fur babies are in the best hands with me and will get treat like part of the family ! I also do a lot of hiking so am happy to take the dogs out with me too if wanted. I am currently working part time so will have plenty of time for your animals, I like to board mostly over the weekend but this is not always an absolute must. I have a lovely fenced secure garden for your pooches to play in. We also have stairgates top and bottom, our dog is elderly so we had these put in place to reduce the risks of falls. A big open plan kitchen and dinner for the animals to have lots of space in.
About: Ever since a child we’ve had family dogs and cats. At one time we had 4 dogs, 12 cats, 2 horses and a 50 Holstein heifers! I love all kind of animals, wide knowledge with different breeds of dogs. I have veterinary care knowledge, and experience in dog behaviour. I’ve currently got two dogs, one cocker spaniel and one Labrador. They’re full of energy, happy and enthusiastic. That’s exactly what I love about them! I work full time on a dairy farm, available in the mornings and evenings. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I am available all day to allow dogs to board. I have two fenced/walled gardens which are thoroughly secure. I have two dogs at home, they are dog friendly and love to play. Toilet breaks are available 0-2 hours. We live on a farm, so therefore there’s endless fields to walk through safely.

“Darcy and her partner are both clearly very experienced with dogs. They're super friendly but, most importantly, they clearly absolutely love having dogs to stay. My lad got on like a house on fire with Teddy, their resident dog, who was gorgeous. They have a secure garden and the ability to separate the dogs in the house of required. I was really impressed and pleased; Darcy was really communicative and sent several updates over only a 1 day stay. I would recommend 10/10!”

I am familiar with animal behaviour and training and love the great outdoors. I run and walk alot, so some company wouldn't go a miss at all. I am happy to board or sit (for shorter periods), walk or drop in on your loved one. I can also offer Grooming and Bathing (Family relevtive Business) And/or Pet Photogrpahy servcies if you'd wish to take advantage of extra services we can offer you. I do work remotely aswell, however sometimes I need to pop out, your pet would not be left any longer than 4 hours. Your dog would be in a secure, small but cosy home, I have a dog bed and crate if needed or you can bring your own! I have a fenced garden, a good size with grass. i have a crate too for small dogs. the dog can have access to the whole house.

A big thank you to Lucy and Marnie for looking after my puppy Martha for the first time yesterday. Lucy was so kind and made sure Martha settled in well, she had a really great day. Buddy has been to the kennels in the past when we couldn’t arrange with close family, but we had a terrible experience. Never again we said. So we began looking for the right person. Meg came to meet us and buddy on a cold icy morning, which doing so spoke volumes as she gave up her own time. Meg asked all the right questions and it was sealed when buddy leaned against Meg, which is his way of showing he trusts someone. After a couple of day boarding successes he stayed for a few nights last week and after de briefing us, Buddy said he had a great time. We had plenty of updates. Thanks Meg ☺️👍🏻 Thank you.
Shelby was absolutely wonderful with Sky. From the moment we met her, Sky was relaxed and comfortable, which gave us great peace of mind. Shelby was fantastic at communicating throughout Sky’s stay, keeping us updated regularly and sending lots of lovely photos. It was clear that Sky was having a great time, and when we picked her up, she looked so happy and content. We couldn’t be happier with the care Shelby provided during Sky’s sleepover. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, caring, and trustworthy to look after their furry family member!
Antonia was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! I booked with her at very short notice and dropped by dog off without a meet and greet (my choice) but my dog settled straight away. I received pictures and updates throughout the weekend and picked a happy doggy up! I was also a few hours later than anticipated but Antonia was very understanding. Wilf had his first sleepover at Nicola’s and seems to have loved every minute. No anxiety and slept through the night despite it being his first night away from us since we got him. Feel really reassured now that he’s fine staying away from home when necessary. Nicola did everything to accommodate his routine, sleeping arrangements, new food, and aslo gave him the meds he’s on this week. Thankyou! ❤️
Amazing! Our 15 year old dog Penny had a great time staying at Claire's house for 3 nights. Claire provided provided detailed updates regularly with plenty of photos. She also drove to our house to collect Penny's food that Amazon delivered after we left for our trip. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Claire again and highly recommend her.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
