About: We’ve both been around dogs our entire lives and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Ryan grew up with a Husky and a Border Collie, giving him hands-on experience with energetic, intelligent dogs that require plenty of exercise, training, and attention. Over the years, he’s also spent time around many other breeds and is comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes. Esmeralda has also grown up with dogs and currently cares for her 8-year-old Chow Chow, giving her ongoing experience with daily routines, grooming, exercise, and understanding a dog’s individual needs. We also leave our Chow Chow with sitters when we’re away, so we understand the process from a dog owner’s perspective and know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in good hands. Together, we’re confident caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. We know how important it is to keep your dog happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away, and we’ll treat them with the same lovec and care we’d give our own pets. Pets fit naturally into our daily routine, and someone is always home to give them the attention and care they deserve. Ryan is self-employed, which gives him the flexibility to work around the dogs’ needs, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to their usual routine. Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a calm, secure, and loving home where pets are treated like part of the family. We have a secure, fenced garden in a quiet estate with only six houses, giving a safe and peaceful environment for dogs to relax and play. We’re also very lucky to have a park just 10 seconds away, which makes daily walks and exercise easy, fun, and consistent. We also have our own dog, Dita, our friendly 8-year-old Chow Chow, who is calm, well-behaved, and used to having other dogs around. This helps create a relaxed and social home environment for visiting dogs. Our home is a safe, family-friendly environment where dogs are supervised throughout the day. We always take care to follow each dog’s individual routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, walking, medication, and comfort needs. We believe trust is built through communication, so we’re always happy to send updates, photos, and messages so you can see how your dog is getting on while you’re away. With Ryan’s flexible self-employed schedule and Esmeralda being home for most of the day, your dog will have consistent supervision, companionship, and care in a relaxed home environment.

About: I have my own large breed puppy in training and passionate about positive training and dog behaviour. I attend multiple classes a week with my own dog for continued training and can continue the same methods with your dogs. I have experience looking after friends and families dogs/puppies large and small! Enrichment training is just as important as physical exercise and I am able to undertake sitting visits with additional training exercises and enrichment including scent work games. I currently work a 9-5 job so have availability from 5pm-9pm Monday to Friday and full flexibility on weekends. I enjoy this job and will make time for your cat if I am needed - some flexibility is available. Your cats will be taken care of with the love, respect and care I would give my own. My cat clients will be taken care exactly how you want them to be and, your home secured and protected. I am used to accessing others properties to undertake a job caring for other animals and properties for friends and families. I have a full DBS and can provide recommendations.

Wilf had his first sleepover at Nicola’s and seems to have loved every minute. No anxiety and slept through the night despite it being his first night away from us since we got him. Feel really reassured now that he’s fine staying away from home when necessary. Nicola did everything to accommodate his routine, sleeping arrangements, new food, and aslo gave him the meds he’s on this week. Thankyou! ❤️
Amazing! Our 15 year old dog Penny had a great time staying at Claire's house for 3 nights. Claire provided provided detailed updates regularly with plenty of photos. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
