“Jack was so wonderful and patient with Cora! She's definitely not the easiest of pups (anxious, high energy) but Jack was very open and kept us in the loop with how she was doing plenty of times. His communication really put us at ease and we felt confident our doggy was in safe hands. He asked all the right questions beforehand to make sure Cora was cared for as closely as she is at home and even treated her to a big walk out in the peaks! Jack has a dog seat belt attachment in his car so Cora was properly transported. She came home clean and happy and we couldn't have hoped for anything better. He listened to any care instructions and advice we gave him and even prepared treats for when she arrived. We'll definitely consider Jack again in future as he's a lovely lad too and very reasonably priced.”

About: I’ve owned and lived with dogs my whole life, and have plenty of experience looking after dogs for family and friends over the years. I’m most experienced with small to medium-sized breeds, but I’m also very comfortable around larger dogs. I have my own Labradoodle, Bear, at home, so I’m used to the everyday responsibilities of caring for a dog and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m an active person and love getting out for walks or runs and exploring with the dogs in my care. Whether they’re looking for a long walk and plenty of exercise or are happier taking things at a slower pace, I’m happy to adapt to what suits them. For me, looking after a dog is about more than simply keeping them safe. I want them to feel comfortable, settled and part of the family while they’re with me, with plenty of attention, play and affection along the way. When your dog stays with us, they’ll be treated as part of the family and won’t be left on their own for long periods. My wife and I both work on a hybrid basis, so there will always be someone at home. We’ll only accept a booking when one of us is available to be there. We’re both active and enjoy getting out with the dogs, so you can expect regular walks throughout the day — usually in the morning, around midday and again in the afternoon. We have plenty of nearby fields, woodland and open spaces, giving us lots of opportunities for longer walks and exploring. There’s also regular access to our garden for some fresh air, playtime or simply relaxing outside. Bear will usually join us for walks and play, giving dogs the opportunity to have a companion during their stay. Of course, we’ll always take introductions at the dogs’ own pace and can keep them separated if that’s more comfortable or preferred. For overnight stays, your dog will be welcome to sleep with Bear, or we can provide a separate space if they prefer their own space or need to be kept apart. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be our priority. We have a completely secure garden, with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy some fresh air and play safely. Dogs will usually spend time with Bear, including on walks and around the house. Bear is incredibly soft and sweet natured. But we do understand that not every dog will be comfortable living alongside another dog. We’re able to keep dogs separated whenever needed or preferred, and we’ll always take introductions slowly and follow your dog’s temperament and routine. We also have the flexibility to use a crate or a large, covered area that can be fully enclosed, giving dogs a safe and comfortable space of their own when they need some quiet time. Above all, we’re responsible, sensible and professional people who genuinely love dogs. We’ll take the time to understand your dog, follow the instructions you leave us and make sure they’re safe, happy and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I have had experience with cats and dogs on and off my whole life. I had a cat (Tinkerbell) when I was younger and more recently my brother and sister in law gained three beautiful dogs ( two cavapoos and a dachshund) a tortoise called Sheldon and 5 chickens. I have helped look after all these for them and I absolutely love it .I would love my own dog but can't at present due to work/family commitments. However I would love to take care of one in my free time. I live alone majority of the time, but co parent my children. The availability I offer is based on work and my child free days. My hobbies are walking, reading and spending time with my partner and friends. Im Very excited and can't wait to meet your beloved doggies ☺️ I work from home on a Thursday and Friday so these and the weekend would be the days I would be mostly available. I have a lunch break and will work downstairs so I can attend to the animals needs and extra cuddles ☺️ I own my home and have no pets currently. I share custody of my three daughters but the availability will be based on when I don't have them. I have a fenced garden and plenty of indoor space for them. I'm not a ornament/trinket kind of gal so they have pretty much free reign downstairs and outside.
