Throughout his stay, Maria kept us updated with messages and photos, so we always knew he was happy and having a great time. About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and have spent my whole life caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve regularly looked after pets for friends and family while they were away, including feeding, walking, playing, administering basic care, and making sure they felt comfortable and loved in their owners’ absence. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own, paying close attention to their routines, needs, and personalities. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of care and attention while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to spend lots of time with the pets in my care. Whether your pet enjoys company, playtime, regular walks, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a secure fenced garden and a friendly indoor cat. While she is gentle and calm around other animals, she can be a little nervous around unfamiliar pets. To ensure a stress-free environment for everyone, I can keep her on a separate floor of the house when needed. My home has three floors, providing plenty of space to safely separate pets if required. I will always make sure that both your pet and my cat are comfortable, happy, and well cared for during their stay!

About: I have always loved animals and dogs in particular. I do think of them as family members and have always taken care of them in this way. I have learned a lot from training and taking care of my own dog. I am currently working part time in an ad-hoc capacity so choose my schedule. I do have a little boy who will sometimes need to be with me, he is used to dogs and very gentle. We are at home a lot of the time so looking after another dog would fit into my schedule very well. I have a fenced in garden and one friendly dog, lots of dog toys and we are often out playing in the garden. They are welcome to come inside or out as they need while they are here.

Our dog Vinnie had grown quite fearful of his kennels and we were determined to find him somewhere he could be more at-home and comfortable when we were away. From meet and greets to taster stays, Helen has made every effort to settle Vinnie in and move at his pace. About: Me and my wife Katy are a dog-loving family with real, hands-on experience — not just with easy dogs. Our beagle Oscar (12) has been with us for 6 years. He's a committed food thief, so we're well used to keeping counters, bins, and pockets secure, and he's trained in sit, down, stand, leave it, recall, and roll over. Our husky Amber (4) has been with us for 3 years — she's an attention seeker, but that doesn't faze us; we know dogs like her just need someone happy to give them the engagement they're after. We usually walk our own dogs at lunchtime and after tea, but we're happy to adapt to whatever routine suits your dog best — whether that's their usual feeding times, walk schedule, or any specific habits they're used to. Both our own dogs are on specific food regimes, so we're used to weighing out meals precisely and giving supplements on schedule — it's something we look for in other carers too, so you can trust us to follow your instructions diligently, right down to the last gram. We also have a 6ft fenced garden for safe off-lead time. I'm currently between jobs, which means I have plenty of flexibility and availability during the week. Pet care fits easily into my day — whether it's a lunchtime walk, an evening routine, or being on hand throughout the day for feeding, play, and company. I'm not juggling a 9-5, so I can give your dog consistent attention and stick closely to whatever schedule they're used to. In my own home, dogs benefit from a secure 6ft fenced garden for safe off-lead time, a settled routine, and the same care I give my own two dogs — Oscar (12, beagle) and Amber (4, husky).
