“I could not have asked for a better experience with Megan and her partner after Oynx’s recent stay with them. We were somewhat let down by a friend just before going abroad and what would usually be a mad panic was completely resolved by Megan putting us fully at ease. She offered to do a meet and greet before the date to make sure she and her Bella were the right fit, proving she actually cares about your dogs welfare. While away we received frequent updates and pictures which kept me at ease, and since Onyx is a bigger somewhat complicated breed I always have worries leaving him with people but honestly he had a better time with her than I’ve ever known him have. All in all I can’t recommend Megan enough, and I will be 100% be using her again, thank you so much.”

As a pet care provider, safety, trust and the environment are my top priorities when caring for animals in both my home and the pet owner's home. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reinforce good behavior and build a strong bond with it. 3. Environment: I strive to provide animals with a comfortable and stimulating environment. This includes providing comfortable bedding, access to clean water and a designated place to eat. I also provide toys and engage in interactive play to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. 4. Regular exercise: I provide animals with regular exercise tailored to their specific needs. This may include walking, playing and other physical activities to keep them active and healthy. 5. Feeding: I follow the pet owner's instructions regarding feeding schedule and dietary requirements. I ensure that meals are delivered on time and that food is properly stored to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. 6. Hygiene: I maintain good hygiene by regularly cleaning and sanitizing the pet's living area, including its bedding, litter box or other designated area. I also follow personal hygiene rules, e.g. washing my hands before and after contact with animals. 7. Communication: I maintain open and transparent communication with the pet owner. This includes providing updates on your pet's welfare, any concerns or observations, and promptly responding to any questions or requests you may have. Overall, my goal is to provide animals with a safe, comfortable and loving environment, whether that is my home or the pet owner's home. Their well-being is my priority and I make every effort to ensure that they are happy and healthy while in my care.

About: I have looked after and been around my own family pets since I was able to including cats and dogs of all different breeds, large and small.I have also looked after and walked neighbours and family friends pets.Now that I have finished university and live with my partner I would like to spend more time with animals as it brings me great joy and I don’t get to see my own family pets as often anymore. I enjoy being in the outdoors and staying active.Im very flexible and accommodating and I will make sure I will look after your pets with the upmost care and love and cater to their individual needs. I am available all day from Monday to Friday and Sundays. I can also do Saturday after 5pm as I have work during the day. My own home is pet friendly even though I do not have pets of my own right now.I will treat an owners home with upmost respect and make sure the pet is safe and catered to at all times.

At the start of our dogs stay we were regularly updated whilst on our holiday, with photos and messages. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
