About: Iv taken care of dogs from a very young age. Iv always had a dog around me throughout my life. When I was younger I used to take my dogs and my neighbours dogs for their daily walks. I have trained my family dogs the basic skills for example being house trained, sit and stay. I currently have an eight month old show cocker who is very loyal, loving and playful to which I treat her as my child and hope to be able to give the same love and attention to yours. I’m home everyday all day and my partner works from home also. I walk Bella (our pouch) at least half an hour a day. Your fur baby will be highly looked after and will rarely be left alone for long periods. I have a fenced off large garden for your beloved dog to run around and toilet. Our home is big enough to host up to four dogs at a time. Your fur baby will be walked daily and fed upon the instructions given by the owner. I’m a highly trustworthy person. I have previously worked in the police, Immigration as well as care. I have a DBS also to prove that I do not have a criminal record.

Rhianne was kind enough to agree to look after my three pups for two days and they had a great time…so much so that they were a more than a little bit reluctant to come home with me when I collected them. Clear to me that she really cares and gives any dogs she looks after loads of attention including plenty of cuddles. Would definitely recommend and my dogs will definitely be visiting her again in the future.

About: I absolutely love animals and dogs in particular. I grew up with a beautiful black Labrador and I have so many lovely memories of him. Dogs are an important part of a family and I would love to take care of your precious pet when you need someone to trust. I provide natural dog treats for your dogs arrival and outdoor space to play with balls etc 🐶🐾🐕 your dog will have lots of love and fun with us so you can leave them with no worries at all. I have lots of experience with nervous dogs and know the perfect route to walk them near me that has little to no dogs around. We do not own any animals apart from our tortoise Scaley who lives in a cage in the kitchen 🥰 I have my own business and work from home most of the day so it will be no problem to incorporate a lovely dog into my daily routine. I have plenty of time and love to give and it would be an honor to have your doggy in my home. I have a garden which is unfenced down the side but I will be able to take dogs to the park for a run around and for walks in more secluded areas for nervous dogs. I have a large kitchen area that can be the perfect place for crates or dog beds and the dogs are welcome in the living room too. We are also happy for dogs to sleep in our bedroom if they prefer. We are flexible and will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.

Xiao did an amazing job looking after our 3 months old Yorkie. It was our puppy’s first time interacting with other fluffy friends, and Xiao handled everything with great care and professionalism, helping her settle in and adapt comfortably. She kept us updated throughout the entire stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful for her support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and experienced sitter - especially for young puppies.

About: I’ve had family dogs all of my life, and my own dogs for the last 15 years or so. I often look after dogs of family and friends. I currently have a ten year old male patterjack who is good with other dogs and a six year old daughter who loves dogs too. Your dog will be allowed everywhere in the house and can even sleep in bed with me and my dog should they wish. We do an hour long walk in woodland each day and lots of play and attention at home. I work part time from home so your dog will never be left alone for more than 30 minutes. We go walking in the local woodland for an hour each day. Your dog can treat our home like their own. I have a fenced garden but your dog will never be left outside unattended. I have a dog friendly small male dog and a daughter. Your dog will be allowed anywhere in the home. I will only feed your dog with food and treats you provide unless you specify otherwise. They can sleep where they like but I’ll adhere to your required sleeping arrangements for them.

About: I have 15 years of extensive pet care covering dogs, cats, guinea pigs and parrots! I have worked in both family 5* businesses, one a Cattery, the other being a dog day care (I still work in the dog day care) I am first aid trained too. I’m currently working full time in the dog day care but I’m flexible to work the pet sitting around the business as I have many people who cover me whilst I’m away pet sitting. I will follow your steps to make sure your pet is in routine whilst you’re away, for dogs I will walk them in secure fields (or in your favourite place to walk them) and for cats I will make sure that all doors are closed to the outside (unless you have an outside cat) Safety is my top priority and I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is safe, secure and happy whilst you’re at work, having a nice day out or that well deserved holiday.

About: I'm active, healthy, supportive and driven. I reflect this in everything I do, whether that be my work, or caring for animals. I have grown up alongside cats and dogs since birth and have adored animals my entire life! I can take care of and have experience with all types of dog or cat personalities. So you can rest assured they'll be getting the correct care, treatment and exercise they need, and beyond that. I currently work short hours remotely, and will be for the foreseeable future, so I have plenty of time and availability to spend time with your loved ones! I have spent almost my entire life learning to care for and love my pets. I am an extremely respectful person and treat other peoples things as if they were my own. I'm very active and love to go for runs and long walks in the countryside. Unfortunately I lost my dog, and most recently my cat, so I'd love the opportunity to spend some time in the fresh air again with some beautiful pets. I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can offer care throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings and weekends. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, whether that’s for drop-in visits, walks, daycare, boarding or house sitting. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I provide a calm, caring and safe environment for both cats and dogs, whether I’m caring for them in your home or my own. As I don’t have any pets myself, any pet staying with me will have my full attention and exclusive care. I also have a small garden for outdoor time, and I’m comfortable looking after pets of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I always aim to follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walks, medication and giving regular updates for peace of mind.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in North Lincolnshire on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 377 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in North Lincolnshire. About 81% of North Lincolnshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your North Lincolnshire commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Yorkshire and the Humber may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
