About: I’m calm, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all ages and personalities. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats — from playful puppies to senior pets who need a gentler approach. I’m confident with feeding routines, cleaning litter trays, and keeping everything tidy and comfortable. I love teaching dogs new tricks and giving every pet the attention they need to feel secure and loved. Since I’m home most of the time, I’m also very flexible with visits and happy to fit around your pet’s usual routine. DBS Checked. Holds diploma in dog grooming and care.Dog training. Basic pet first aider I’m at home most of the time, with only occasional trips to the gym, so I have plenty of spare time to care for and love a furry friend. Your pet will enjoy a safe, comfortable home and garden, and I’m happy to take them on long or short walks depending on their needs. I have a decent-sized, fully fenced garden with grass and plenty of room for pets to roam, play, and explore. On sunny days, it’s a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. I’m also close to a popular dog-walking area, perfect for getting out on walks and socialising with other dogs. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a safe and relaxing environment for pets.

“Our Labrador Buddy had the best time with Christine and Luke and their dalmation Hugo. Buddy has a lot of energy and he was a great match for Hugo. Communication with Christine was great and we got lots of videos and pictures throughout the day. The pictures got Buddy’s personality spot on. Highly recommend and would use again.”

“Rocco absolutely adored staying with Joshua and his family. He was welcomed with open arms in to the family home. Such a peace of mind knowing he was going to a place he loves , leaves me at the door to go his happy place 💜”

“Luke and his partner were so kind and understanding when they looked after Cilla for the day (it was the first time we had left her with someone). They sent a photo and update and we discussed what I could take to help her settle further when she has an overnight stay. Thank you!”

“I was a bit nervous about leaving Daphne as it was her first time away from me but I needn't have worried! Adam sent me photos, updates and videos of her day and she was so chilled! Thank you. 🙂”
“Xiao was lovely with my little Lady who looks like she had the most amazing day of cuddles and being treated like a queen. About: Iv taken care of dogs from a very young age. Iv always had a dog around me throughout my life. When I was younger I used to take my dogs and my neighbours dogs for their daily walks. I have trained my family dogs the basic skills for example being house trained, sit and stay. I currently have an eight month old show cocker who is very loyal, loving and playful to which I treat her as my child and hope to be able to give the same love and attention to yours. I’m home everyday all day and my partner works from home also. I walk Bella (our pouch) at least half an hour a day. Your fur baby will be highly looked after and will rarely be left alone for long periods. I have a fenced off large garden for your beloved dog to run around and toilet. Our home is big enough to host up to four dogs at a time. Your fur baby will be walked daily and fed upon the instructions given by the owner. I’m a highly trustworthy person. I have previously worked in the police, Immigration as well as care. I have a DBS also to prove that I do not have a criminal record.

About: I absolutely love animals and dogs in particular. I grew up with a beautiful black Labrador and I have so many lovely memories of him. Dogs are an important part of a family and I would love to take care of your precious pet when you need someone to trust. I provide natural dog treats for your dogs arrival and outdoor space to play with balls etc 🐶🐾🐕 your dog will have lots of love and fun with us so you can leave them with no worries at all. I have lots of experience with nervous dogs and know the perfect route to walk them near me that has little to no dogs around. We do not own any animals apart from our tortoise Scaley who lives in a cage in the kitchen 🥰 I have my own business and work from home most of the day so it will be no problem to incorporate a lovely dog into my daily routine. I have plenty of time and love to give and it would be an honor to have your doggy in my home. I have a garden which is unfenced down the side but I will be able to take dogs to the park for a run around and for walks in more secluded areas for nervous dogs. I have a large kitchen area that can be the perfect place for crates or dog beds and the dogs are welcome in the living room too. We are also happy for dogs to sleep in our bedroom if they prefer. We are flexible and will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Yorkshire and the Humber may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
