About: Pets have always been part of my life. I’m gentle, patient and attentive, and I’ll treat your pet like family, with plenty of love and care. I work from home always, which gives me plenty of flexibility to give your dog attention and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, walks and visits, including weekends and weekdays. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure community garden and two friendly dogs who are used to having dogs and Cats companies. I can keep the pets separated when needed and provide a calm, supervised environment tailored to their individual needs.

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Maria looked after our dog while we were in hospital for the birth of our son via a planned C-section, and she completely put our minds at ease. She kindly offered to have him the night before our scheduled booking at no extra cost, which took so much stress out of an already busy time. When our discharge from hospital was delayed, she also kept him for the rest of the day without asking for any additional payment. Throughout his stay, Maria kept us updated with messages and photos, so we always knew he was happy and having a great time. He got on brilliantly with her Chihuahua, and it was lovely to see him so relaxed and enjoying himself. About: I grew up basically on a small holding with hundreds of animals, my childhood home was like a mini zoo, always around dogs/cats and various exotic species. My family bred various breeds of dogs and ive always loved cats, dogs and dog training. My family always had 4/5 minimum at one time so home doesn't feel like home without lots of wagging tails around. Since leaving college and university my career has been within the animal sector. Vet nurse Farm manager Zookeeper Animal educator / educational presenter Reptile keeper Pet therapy dogs Animal therapy provider Kennel worker These are the job titles ive held over the years. I have a National Diploma in Animal Management and care I have a Degree in Animal Care & Zoology I am level 3 dog and cat first aid trained and have frequent refresher courses. I am a DEFRA trained and qualified microchip implanter so I see many dogs and cats from all walks of like and temperaments. I have completed various courses for feline behaviour and also dog behaviour & training. I work from home, animals are my life and my household revolves around my pets. Every day all my dogs and cats are fed, cleaned cuddled and cared for. I'm with them throughout the day for extra play, training and of course lots of walks and cuddles. My life revolves around my pets and it's always been this way. I will always provide the same love, care and attention to any pet coming over for their short / long stay. They'd be treated as part of our pack, as part of our family whilst here ❤️ I have plenty of spaces for additional dogs, either to be with my own dogs OR to be separated if wanted/needed. I have a dog living room , a cat living room and a living room spare for anyone who likes to be alone and wants peace and quiet can relax. I have many spaces for cats as my cats have the entire house to roam free but I also have an animal room attached to the house that turns into a cattery or kennels if any owner prefers their cat/dog to be separated from the pets I have. My animal room is spacious and kept clean. It has many beds and hideouts as well as a TV and sofa bed so any cat or dog will feel at home. Its easy for me to go in there and chill out watching TV giving cuddles creating that homely experience for any pet staying. I have a garden that's fully secured with fencing and 2 garden gate system for extra security. The property is covered with cameras and has 24/7 CCTV surveillance. I like to always give owner updates and keep in contact, providing videos and photos of how their family member is getting on for reassurance.

“Well what can I say Alison is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING 🤩 It took me 2 yrs to find this lovely dog caring lady . My dog Honey has never been left with anyone before as she suffers from separation anxiety and cannot be left alone . Because of this problem it was difficult to find someone who would care for her and be there 24/7 but I eventually found Alison she cared and loved for Honey the same as I do with lots of love and cuddles and she really put my mind at ease so that I could enjoy my holiday with regular updates . 10 🌟”
About: I’ve grown up around dogs all my life me and my partner recently moved into our own property which means we regularly look after family and friends dogs. I work from home 3 days a week, I spend mostly all my time at home on week days and weekends,having a dog fits into our life style. Annabel is an absolute dream! Rufus stayed for 2 nights while we had plans, and I could tell by the photos sent that he was having such a great time and was happy and living his best life. He was so well looked after, and Annabel kept his routine perfectly. He enjoyed walks with Nala the Labrador for company too. I’d definitely recommend Annabel, and won’t hesitate to let her look after Rufus again, seeing how much he loved being there.
Amazing 🤩, perfect home for our little doggie 🐶. Kátia was able to accommodate my request at short notice after a mix up and communication was fast and friendly. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
