Just a girl who wants her own pup but has to wait!
Hi I’m Katie, a girl who wants a dog but is patiently waiting for the right time! Having come from homes that have always had dogs in, having a home without a dog feels quite strange, however, I regularly have family pets and fluffy friends visit to keep me busy! I have lots of experience of looking after dogs, our family has always had german shepherds and Staffies, both breeds are big softies! I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your dog isn’t great with children. I’ve got a decent sized garden for a dog to enjoy. I have experience in looking after puppies, and more senior dogs that might need that extra help. I’m usually available on weekday evenings and at weekends for plenty of walks and lots of fuss!

Katie was very accommodating to our all of our needs regarding Milo staying with her. She kept us updated with regular updates during his stay......which was very reassuring with him being a young dog and having never stopped with anyone else. We can recommend Katie & will not hesitate to use her again in the future when the need arises.
Katie was great with our young Golden, Finn. We were dropping him off on route to friends so weren’t able to do a meet and greet but it wasn’t a problem. Katie’s responses before we met were friendly and helpful so we felt confident from the beginning. We got updates on how he was doing and he was well looked after! Thanks again Katie and if we’re ever in the area again we would definitely reuse.
This was the first time we’d ever left Woody other than with close family, Katie really helped to make sure it was such a positive experience! Lots of photos and updates and Woody had a great time ❤️ He can be a bit of a handful but Katie has been amazing with him!
Katie was super responsive and flexible. She took great care of our adult staffy for the weekend!
Great dog sitter, catered to all our dog needs. She took the time to look after the dog and asked us any routine requirements we had.

Schedule
I currently work full time, with two days (of my choice) working from home per week. I’m available for boarding on weekends, and from 4pm on Fridays. I’m also available most weekday evenings from 6pm.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced garden which has grass and plenty of space to keep your dog entertained. I have a raised fish pond with Koi fish in - this isn’t accessible for dogs unless they choose to cannonball in🤣 the back garden is very secure, accessing the rear of the property requires you to go through two doors and a gate. I also have a front porch which separates the living room from the front door. There is space for dogs to be in a crate if required, non smokers, we don’t have any children or other pets.
A typical day
There are plenty of long and short works in my local area to keep your dog busy! Entertaining your dog with games and mental stimulation activities so that they enjoy boarding and you can have peace of mind that your dog is comfortable with where they are staying.
