“This was our first time using a pet sitter and Matthew and Greta made the whole experience so much easier. They immediately made Beau feel welcome and weren't at all phased by the fact she is a four month old puppy. We received regular pupdates and Beau was really happy there. We have already booked in Beau's next stay with Matthew, Greta and their lovely children.”

“Maria was great with communication and we left our dog in good hands for 12 days with Maria when we went abroad for a family holiday. We had the opportunity to meet Maria and her dog Bambi at their home before making the booking to ensure it was a good fit for both sides and to discuss any concerns. Received plenty of photos and updates and on returning home our boy is very happy and has been well looked after, definitely recommend and will use Marias services again if needed”

“Katie was great with our young Golden, Finn. We were dropping him off on route to friends so weren’t able to do a meet and greet but it wasn’t a problem. Katie’s responses before we met were friendly and helpful so we felt confident from the beginning. We got updates on how he was doing and he was well looked after! Thanks again Katie and if we’re ever in the area again we would definitely reuse.”

“Katia and James did a great job taking care of Twix while I was away. Communication was easy—they responded quickly to messages and sent a few updates during the stay, which I appreciated as I missed her so much. They were super attentive to Twix’s needs, and Twix seemed content, calm and well looked after when I got back, which is really all I could ask for. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others looking for a dependable and caring sitter who won’t make you nervous the whole time you’re gone.”

“Well what can I say Alison is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING 🤩 It took me 2 yrs to find this lovely dog caring lady . My dog Honey has never been left with anyone before as she suffers from separation anxiety and cannot be left alone . Because of this problem it was difficult to find someone who would care for her and be there 24/7 but I eventually found Alison she cared and loved for Honey the same as I do with lots of love and cuddles and she really put my mind at ease so that I could enjoy my holiday with regular updates . 10 🌟”

About: Lifelong Dog Owner Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Being a lifelong dog owner has given me years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs and behaviours. I understand that every dog is an individual, and I believe patience, consistency, kindness and understanding are at the heart of responsible dog ownership. Experienced Dog Foster Parent My experience as a foster parent has allowed me to care for dogs who have needed additional support, reassurance and stability while preparing for the next chapter of their lives. Fostering has helped me develop a deeper understanding of how dogs can respond differently to new environments and experiences. I have learned the importance of allowing a dog to progress at their own pace, building trust gradually and providing a calm, safe and supportive environment. One of the most rewarding aspects of fostering has been watching dogs grow in confidence and helping them become ready for their forever homes. Animal Charity Committee Member My involvement as an animal charity committee member has given me experience beyond my own dogs and foster care. It has allowed me to contribute to the wider welfare of animals and support the important work carried out by charities and volunteers. Being involved at committee level has also given me an appreciation of the organisation, commitment and teamwork required behind the scenes to support animal welfare, fundraising, awareness and responsible pet ownership. Dog Boutique Owner As the owner of a specialist dog boutique, my passion for dogs is also part of my everyday working life. Meeting dogs and their owners regularly has broadened my experience considerably. I enjoy getting to know individual dogs, understanding what their owners are looking for and helping them choose products that are appropriate for their dog's lifestyle and needs. My aim is to create an environment where both dogs and their humans feel welcome, comfortable and valued. My Approach to Dogs My experience as an owner, foster parent, charity committee member and business owner has taught me that there is never a one-size-fits-all approach to dogs. Every dog has their own personality, history, preferences and way of communicating. I believe in taking the time to understand the individual dog, treating them with kindness and respect, and always putting their welfare first. For me, working with dogs isn't simply an interest — they have been a constant part of my life, and that lifetime of experience continues to shape everything I do today. Looking after your dog would be a structured but flexible part of my day. I would plan morning and evening walks around my existing schedule, making sure your dog is fed, exercised, and given attention at consistent times. Short check-ins during the day would help maintain routine and comfort for the dog, while also fitting around my work or personal commitments. My dogs are very much part of the family, and their happiness, health and wellbeing are at the centre of their daily routine. They have a safe, comfortable and loving home environment where they receive plenty of attention, companionship and affection. I believe dogs thrive when they feel secure and have a consistent routine, so their days include regular feeding, exercise, enrichment, play, rest and quality time with us. Exercise & Enrichment My dogs receive regular exercise appropriate to their individual needs, age and energy levels. Alongside walks and physical exercise, I understand the importance of mental stimulation. Enrichment, play, toys, scent-based activities and interaction are all used to keep them engaged and prevent boredom. Feeding & Treats I take a responsible approach to feeding and choose food and treats with my dogs' individual needs in mind. Fresh drinking water is always available, and treats are given appropriately as part of their overall routine. Health & Wellbeing Their health is taken seriously, with regular veterinary care and attention to preventative healthcare, grooming and general wellbeing. I also pay close attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, mobility or general demeanour, as these can sometimes be early indications that a dog isn't feeling quite themselves. Companionship & Individual Care Most importantly, my dogs receive plenty of companionship. I spend time getting to know their individual personalities, preferences and boundaries rather than expecting every dog to behave or respond in the same way. Their routines are adapted when necessary to suit their individual needs. Whether they want to play, explore, have some quiet time or simply settle down nearby, I believe dogs should be able to feel relaxed and secure in their home. The same principles would apply when caring for someone else's dog. I would respect the routine and instructions provided by their owner while making sure their dog receives the same level of patience, attention, safety and care that I expect for my own.

“I cannot recommend Lisa enough! She took the time to get to know Willow before our trip and was very well prepared. She spent at least 20 minutes with her during each visit and even sat with her for a few hours one day when Willow was particularly anxious. Our kitty has really grown fond of her and it’s clear that Lisa genuinely loves doing this!”

“Jamie was incredible! Fantastic communication, reliable and tidied up after the cats. He stayed and gave the cats a good cuddle and brush each visit, and we came home to happy, relaxed cats! We will definitely be rebooking and thanks Jamie ☺️”

“Loki and Midnight were in great hands with Julie; she even left them a little present at the end of her visits. Julie came to meet the cats before we went away and I was able to show her where everything was. Would highly recommend and wil definitely be using her again; it was far less stressful for the cats to have someone look after them in their own home and Julie was fantastic and even gave me updates while I was away.”

About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From bouncy kittens who think 3am is playtime to elderly cats who need patience, warm laps, and a very specific routine. What sets me apart is that I pay attention to the individual cat, not just the checklist. Every cat has their own language — the tail flick that means "enough now," the particular spot behind the ear that turns them to jelly, the difference between "I'm hiding because I'm shy" and "I'm hiding because something's wrong." I take time on the first visit to learn yours, and I always follow their lead rather than pushing for affection they haven't offered yet.

About: We have 4 little cuties of our own, who we have rescued from roads, paths and other sad circumstances, we love rescuing animals and will always help animals! We have years of experience knowing that each cat is different and we are able to adjust for each cat we meet

About: I've been around cats for nearly all of my life- from the young adult cat to the senior. I've had all kinds of cats- from the sassy to the silly. I can give space and be gentle if it's a nervous cat who needs care, or playful with the more adventurous. Where possible, I will give cuddles and make sure your cat gets love and attention, as well as fed and their litter tray taken care of. I currently have a 13 year old black cat called Nibbles who we have cared for since he was 8. Depending on medication, I don't mind giving it to cats, this would need to be discussed beforehand.
About: I have looked after dogs since I was 13, so am very comfortable around them and find it easy to warm to new dogs. I am experienced with walking, playing, cleaning, and feeding (and love to just sit in their company). I have recently graduated from university so I have plenty of free time on weekdays as well as weekends. I'm also an early riser so am happy to be available from 7am-evening. I cannot care for pets in my own home, but am more happy to travel and pet-sit in other homes as well as going out for walks.

“Finding a dog sitter for 2 robust German shepherds is always a bit of a challenge for me, however Tina responded to my enquiry immediately and was happy to care for them for the day, even given the short notice. She came to meet them both the day before at my house and they took to her immediately. She sent lots of pupdates of their Sunday at her house and they come home very tired from their play day. I would absolutely use her service again 🤩”

I currently work for a dog breeder where I walk, train, groom and care for up to 14 dogs at 1 time. I am currently working part time so I have a lot of spare time to care for your fur babies. I spend most of my free time outdoors. I am friendly and animal loving and will make your pets feel comfortable and safe while in my care. I would also like to meet pets before our sessions so that we can build trust.
About: Hi, I’m Poppy I treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a sweet senior, I tailor my care to fit your dog’s unique needs. Here’s what makes me different: ✅ Puppy Know-How I’m experienced with young pups and their routines — from potty breaks to basic obedience and playtime structure. ✅ Senior Dog TLC Older dogs need patience, gentleness and sometimes meds or mobility support. I’m comfortable giving medication taking slower walks, and making sure senior pups stay cozy and calm. ✅ Reliable, Loving, and Communicative I believe in total transparency and trust — you’ll get regular updates, pics and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. ✅ Personalized Attention No rushed walks or overbooked days — I focus on giving your pet the care and attention they deserve. Whether your dog loves long walks, quiet cuddles or playtime I make sure they feel safe, happy and loved every step of the way. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around walks, feeding times, play and check-ins to give each pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon drop-ins or overnight sitting I make sure your pet’s needs come first. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly enjoy, every single day. I live in a cozy pet-friendly flat with plenty of space for your dog to relax. While I don’t have a garden, I’m located right by a beautiful lake with walking paths so your pup gets plenty of fresh air, exercise and outdoor time throughout the day. We go on regular walks and I make sure each dog has a comfy spot to rest, play and feel at home indoors. Safety, routine and individual attention are my top priorities — your pet will be loved and well cared for every step of the way.
About: I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with many cats and dogs throughout my nearly 50 years. My main attributes are caring for animals and taking a high level of care and responsibility for them. I have also cared for older cats and dogs towards the end of their life, who need more care and attention. Be it practical or emotional care. As a pet owner, I treat my clients pets in the same way I would care for my own. I left working offshore after 25 years, and now I’m looking forward to enjoying the next chapter. I am available at short notice generally. My garden has a small lawned area and is fenced and secure. I will leave someone’s property as tidy, or even tidier than I found it!!

“Julie has been a god send, I used this service due to being out of action after an operation. We did 2 visits to get to know my 2 dogs then a daily walk every day this week, my dogs took to Julie so well and were excited to see her every day. I cannot recommend her highly enough, great peace of mind, and a bonus is that she’s a lovely lady, thank you so much.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two family dogs at my mum’s house, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my day-to-day life. During secondary school, I volunteered at Tia Rescue in Doncaster, helping care for dogs with different personalities and needs. While living in Canada, I also provided dog sitting for guests staying at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, caring for dogs while their owners were out exploring or relaxing. I’m patient, reliable and genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping them company and comfortable while you’re away. I currently can’t have a dog of my own where I live, so this is honestly the next best thing for me. I love getting to spend time with different dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for. I currently work part-time at a coffee shop, so my schedule is flexible and gives me good availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting. I enjoy getting outdoors more and love spending time with dogs, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m happy to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you know your dog is safe and happy while you’re away. I live in a home with a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and understand how important routine, patience and reassurance are when caring for someone else’s pet. I’ll always make sure dogs feel comfortable, well looked after and treated like part of the family while in my care.
About: While I don’t currently have my own dog, I have in the past had two dogs and I would love to again in the future. In the meantime I really want to spend more time around dogs as I absolutely love them. I’m an avid walker so I think that would go hand in hand with taking your playful pets out and about whether that’s to a local park or dog field. I’m also happy to do overnight stays for pet sitting. I’m a shift worker so tend to have a lot of evenings/nights free and I know my rota for the rest of the year so I’m able to work around that to offer the best to your pets. I’m happy to do drop ins/walking services even on my days that I work either before or after I finish and on my days off I’m available all day. I am able to care for pets in your own home by offering a safe environment where pets will be comfortable and have all their needs met. For walking I would prefer to keep pets on a leash so if this isn’t suitable for your dog please let me know.

I am leaving my 9-5 office job to become a full time dog walker. I am available through the week and also at weekends. I have owned dogs my whole life and they have always been a big part of my family. At the moment I have 2 dogs; Albus, and Dot. Albus is a 2 year old cockapoo and bundle of joy, he will be joining me on most of my walks as he doesn’t leave my side. Dot is a 9 year old small lurcher and will occasionally join me but you’ll find them mostly chilling in the sun, enjoying a quiet life. I decided to become a dog walker to turn my passion for dogs into a career that I love. I have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. Every dog is different, that’s why tailor my services to meet the unique needs of your pet. I work on building amazing bonds with the dogs I care for and trusting relationships with my clients too. I offer 1 hour dog walks as well as day care and overnight stays. Each service will begin with a free consultation with you and your dog. Whilst in my care, your dog will have access to my garden and my spacious kitchen area, which is where your dogs will sleep during overnight stays. I am happy to offer a pick up and drop off service. Please note, I will not walk more than 5 dogs at one time and will not keep more than 2 dogs overnight. I am fully insured, highly experienced, DBS checked and first aid trained. I can also offer basic dog training if requested. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends, Jane. After recently giving up my office job I am now available for all services required on a full time basis, during the week and weekends. I have secure, medium sized, locked garden that your dog will have access to. I have three dogs that are very welcoming to new pets. I also have added space to crate and/or separate if needed.

“Excellent communication pre-sit and during -with regular updates and photos. Chewie had lots of garden space to roam. He was taken on walks and seemed well cared for. Will definitely use Elaine again”
