About: My names Stacey, I’m 30 years old. I have grown up with cats and dogs all my life. I grew up with living with 12 cats and now I currently have a dog. My love of animals comes from my grandma who was always rescuing them! I look after my brothers cats Dolly and Jolene often and I have dogs I walk/stay with on a regular basis. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! Animal care is a key part of my daily routine. As I’m currently focusing on building this into my full-time work, I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of time and attention throughout the day. I structure my days around walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, and I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and overnight care as needed. This allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully focused on each pet’s needs. I currently provide care in pet owners’ homes, as I’m planning a move in the near future and want to keep things consistent for the pets I look after. When caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to their usual routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure they get plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise, while also keeping their environment clean and secure. I treat every home and pet with respect and care, and I’m always happy to provide updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
“Lovely people! I left my dog with them in my home for 7 hours and I came back home to a happy and calm doggy. On such short notice they were available, couldn’t be more grateful. Will absolutely be booking them again when I need somebody! Thank you again x”
About: Experienced, patient, and passionate about dogs. I’ve cared for pups of all ages and sizes, always offering personalised, loving care in a calm, safe environment. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I plan my day around walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles with my own dog, Oakley. Having other dogs join us just adds to the joy. I work from home, so your pet will never be left alone and will always have company, structure, and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s morning strolls, afternoon garden play, or quiet evening snuggles, caring for dogs is built into my everyday routine — and I genuinely love it. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. They’ll enjoy a calm, comfortable space with plenty of attention, affection, and play. I stick closely to their usual routines — from feeding schedules to sleeping habits — to make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible. With a large, secure garden and regular daily walks, they’ll get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I keep things clean, safe, and full of love, ensuring every dog feels at home. If I’m caring for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions closely and keep everything as familiar and comforting as possible.

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and spending time outdoors, so dog walking is something I genuinely enjoy rather than just a job. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll, a long adventure, or exploring new routes, I’m happiest with a four-legged friend by my side! 🌿🐕 I’m an active, caring, and reliable person who will always match the pace, personality, and energy of the dog I’m with—whether they’re full of zoomies or prefer taking life one sniff at a time. A little about my experience 🦴 I’ve had dogs for over 10 years and have regularly cared for the pets of family and friends, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and routines. I also have a Labrador of my own, so I know all about the energetic, slightly chaotic “crazy dog” moments! Whether your dog loves to run, play fetch, swim, or simply curl up for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved throughout our time together. Every dog is unique, so I’ll always take the time to get to know their routine, personality, and what makes them happiest. ❤️ I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages 📸 so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a great time. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m able to offer flexible availability Monday- Wednesday. I am happy to provide morning, afternoon, and evening drop-in visits where possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I make sure to follow all care instructions closely, keep pets secure during walks and visits, and provide a calm and caring environment while you’re away.
About: I provide reliable dog walking and overnight pet sitting focusing on calm, structured care, maintaining routines, and lots of love. I am available for early morning walks, evening walks, overnight stays, and flexible weekend care. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, including larger and energetic dogs, and I am confident following individual routines including feeding, medication, and structured care. I work best with dogs who are comfortable with a morning/evening routine rather than constant daytime supervision (7am–6pm weekdays not available due to existing work commitments). Regular updates and communication are always provided, and I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. Whether you need a reliable dog walker, cat sitter, or someone to check in on your pets while you’re away, I’ve got you covered. I love long walks, cuddles with furry friends, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. I’m fully DBS-checked through my full-time role, and will bring the same professionalism, responsibility, and reliability to every pet I look after. At home, I have three cats of my own, and grown up with a variation of different dogs, from Dobermans to Jack Russels, so I completely understand how much your pets mean to you 💕 🕒 My Availability Before 7:30am: Quick morning walks or feeding visits Weekdays: House sitting available if pets are comfortable being left during working hours (approx 7:30am–5pm) After 5pm (Mon–Thu): Evening walks or drop-ins Fridays after 3:30pm: Extended walks or pet sitting Weekends: Flexible for walks, sitting, or overnight stays 💬 A Little Extra I’m patient, calm, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll treat your pets like my own and keep you updated with photos and notes after every visit 🐾 When caring for pets in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow each owner’s routine closely, from feeding times and walks to medication and play, so everything stays consistent while you’re away. I’m fully DBS-checked through my full-time role, which is security focused, which means I take safety and trust very seriously. I’ll never share your personal details or access areas of your home unnecessarily. During visits, I double-check doors and gates are secure before and after walks, ensure water bowls are full, and always tidy up after pets. I send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. At my own home, I maintain a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of enrichment and affection for my three cats, so I completely understand how important it is for your pets to feel loved and secure.
About: I’ve had a love for dogs my whole life. I have been a full time dog walker for around 18 months now whilst also owning three dogs of my own. As well as the dog walking, I also offer drop in visits. I just love the special bond that I watch grow between myself and my dogs that I look after. I have some dogs in my care that are reactive, some are older and one in particular is fully blind. I’m currently a full time dog walker and as previously said, I also offer drop in visits. That being said if I stayed at your home looking after your dog, I would be out for a few hours at a time but would make it a priority that your dog wouldn’t be alone for too many hours. I would only agree to a pet stay if your garden and home is safe enough for the dog. Keeping your dog happy and well whilst within my care is essential to me.
“Marie did a great job looking after Bella. She chcked in with me and kept me updated, including a picture or video of Bella each day. Bella seemed to have a great time with her and I felt confident she was being well looked after.”

“Gypsy and Mark did a fantastic job looking after our two cats while we were away. We received regular photos and updates and felt confident throughout that our pets were in good hands. Would highly recommend and definitely book again. Thanks so much!”

“Georgia is amazing, she took great care of our two daschund girls! It was our first time using the Rover app or any dog/house sitting service and Georgia made it nice and easy. She kept us updated with videos and photos of our girls who definitely enjoyed her company. We will definitely be using Georgia again in the future and recommend her to everyone. Thank you!”

About: I always wanted dogs growing up, and have often cared for friends’ pets when needed, and when I moved to Whiston I finally got the chance to have one full time - my ex-partner’s family dog needed to move, and we took him in. As we’re no longer together I don’t have him any more, and I would love to be able to give the care and attention to pets who need a home from home. I’m comfortable administering mediation (the dog mentioned took 4 different tablets, twice a day) and promise to always provide them with as many walks, playtime and treats as they want (treats within moderation obviously)! My work is hybrid so I’m able to be at home a lot, and I would never commit to taking in a pet if there was a chance I couldn’t be at home with them all the time. When working from home I can be flexible to ensure I can match your pets normal routine as closely as possible. They’ll also provide me with the perfect distraction to procrastinate! Although the back garden is unfenced, I would never leave your pet there unsupervised. I do have a fenced and gated front driveway. I would stick to your usual routine as closely as possible - pets are allowed wherever they are comfiest in my house, so they’d have full and complete roam of the house to make sure they found their most comfy spot! I’ll send photos and updates every day to let you know how they’re doing and what we’ve been up to for your peace of mind!

About: Me and my partner have both always had big dogs ever since we were little, both with family dogs (and other pets). We have a love for all animals. I currently work nights so my days are free to give you the satisfaction of knowing your dog is taken care of, walked, fed and loved. My partner (Carys) also works along side me so we have 24/7 availability. I have a fully fenced off garden, with plenty of room to run and play. Our full attention will be given to providing the safest and most calm enviroment.
About: No matter the age, size or breed of dogs, all they would like is to be loved and cared for. A dog doesn’t deserve to be locked away for hours on end in solitary confinement, a pack animal needs to have company and be stimulated, I can care for your dog in my own home in a family environment. As a retired person I have the ability to provide care for dogs ensuring they are have the correct amount of exercise and stimulation throughout the day and given attention throughout the night. My garden is fully enclosed and secured with large garden gates to ensure nothing can enter or leave without the family being made aware. Security is a major issue when entrusting someone to care for your pet!
About: I've been around dogs since I was a young child. I'm particularly comfortable with large and giant breeds. A selection of the breeds we've had are as follows Kangol, German Sheperds, Leonberger, Border Collie, Romanian Sheperds and Golden Retrievers. My daily routine is geared around my pet customers so please ask and I will do whatever it is to fit you in. I deliver a custom service based upon their individual needs. I will ensure your dogs maintain their current routine and base everything I do around my discussions with yourself. I would look to meet your dogs prior to looking after them so they know me and wouldn't be worried that I was there with them.
About: I regularly care for a friendly cocker spaniel, so it's important that your dog is comfortable around other dogs. I've been informally dog sitting for around two years now and I really enjoy it. I work an office job during the week, so I am available to help from Friday at 3pm until Sunday evening. I'm an active sitter and love a long outdoor adventure in all weathers. I'm just as happy to take a stroll on lead down my nearby lanes, engage in a game of fetch or have a cheeky snuggle on the sofa for the afternoon - sometimes its hard to tell who's having more fun :) Your dogs will be free to roam around the bungalow, which is based in a quiet cul de sac in Great Houghton. There are no rules to where they can go, they are free to enjoy beds, sofas and the small enclosed garden we have out the back of the bungalow. I will try to stick to your normal routines where possible and will of course send updates and photos as many times as you need, I want you to feel just as relaxed as your pet. I work Monday to Friday so I'm only available on weekends. I usually have a cocker spaniel on a Saturday so please only get in touch if your dog is comfortable around other dogs I'm in a quiet cul de sac with an enclosed garden. There are lots of fun walks near me in varying length. Animals that stay here are treated as members of the family and will be loved and cared for as you would your own :)

About: I have looked after friends and families dogs/cats and even budgies for many years. I am canine first aid trained. I love meeting new animals and adapting my skills to suit them. I cater for all ages of pets and look forward to meeting many more furry friends. I am respectful to my surroundings at other people’s homes and I like to keep the owners updated during my time with their beloved pet. I work part time and work pet care around this. All my requests are carefully considered to meet the pets needs the best I can. When I house sit at people’s houses, I will always request a meet and greet beforehand. I ask the owner if their pet has any special requirements/triggers/behaviours that I need to keep an eye on. I will ensure the animal is where it needs to be in the house before I leave and always ensure the pet is fed at the correct times and always has fresh water to hand.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Doncaster
Definitely would recommend! We have a massive Bernese mountain dog that has always been super shy but Jamie was great and pet sat her for a day while we were down in London! Because our dog is shy he even came to meet her before hand so they could get to know each other first. By about mid day he sent me pics and videos over WhatsApp of our happy girl running around the garden and getting pets. Made the process really easy and we felt reassured! Would book again. ☺️

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Doncaster walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Doncaster choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
