About: My wife often jokes that I've never met an animal I didn't immediately try to befriend. Cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, reptiles... if they have four legs (or sometimes fewer!), I'm usually introducing myself within minutes. Animals have been a constant throughout my life. I've cared for cats ranging from tiny kittens to much-loved senior cats, including some with medical conditions requiring medication, patience and extra attention. I've also raised my own dog from puppyhood through to old age, which taught me a great deal about the different needs pets have as they move through life. Alongside cats and dogs, I've cared for chickens, and during my years working in schools I've looked after rabbits, reptiles, tropical fish, frogs and even the occasional snail. I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, species and routines, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each animal unique. What probably sets me apart most is that I combine a genuine love of animals with a strong sense of responsibility. For over twenty years I've worked as a site manager in primary and PRU schools, a role built on trust, attention to detail and caring for things that matter to other people. Looking after homes, managing schedules, keeping things safe and solving problems calmly has been part of my daily life for decades. My wife and I live in Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District, where we spend our free time exploring, making music together, and being thoroughly outnumbered by our cats when it comes to sofa space. Friends would describe me as calm, dependable and easy-going. When caring for pets, I understand that routines matter. Whether that's medication schedules, favourite walking routes, playtime, lap time, or simply sharing a quiet room with someone who enjoys their company, I'll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pets feel secure, comfortable and loved while you're away. I know that when people leave their pets with someone, they're not just handing over a lead, food bowl or set of keys — they're placing their trust in another person. I never lose sight of that. I'm currently writing full time, so my days are entirely flexible - plenty of time to spent caring for your cats! I can be available week days and weekends. I will care for your cats in the way they need, and you define, respectfully and carefully, within your own home. I'm aware that each cat has their own requirements and character, and that is how I approach caring - whatever they need, personally.

About: I have looked after several friends and neighbours cats and rabbits, and loved meeting animals of all age and breed. I also have always loved both dogs and cats, and would love to look after yours. I am a university student, so other than a few classes a week, I have a very flexible schedule as most of my work is independent study. I will care for your pets with genuine love and attention no matter the breed. I will maintain responsibility at all times, as well as ensuring your house is kept in a perfect state of cleanliness.

About: For the past two years, I have been the proud owner of a wonderful tabby cat. Being a cat parent has taught me firsthand the daily dedication it takes to care for a pet—from keeping up with feeding routines and litter box maintenance to reading feline body language and providing plenty of love and playtime. I have plenty of experience interacting with both dogs and cats in their homes. I frequently join family and friends on their dog walks, meaning I am comfortable on the leash, know how to handle dogs out in public, and love helping them burn off some energy. As I have just completed my A-levels, I have an entirely open and flexible schedule for the summer until mid-September! Because I don’t have daily work or university commitments right now, pet care easily fits into my routine. I am available all days of the week, morning through night, meaning your pet will get my full, undivided attention and companionship. I am dedicated to keeping a consistent routine for your pets, with the only exceptions being a few pre-planned summer holidays where I will be away: June 22nd – June 29th August 20th – August 27th August 29th – September 5th Outside of those specific dates, my schedule is completely clear and open for walks, daycare, or sitting When caring for pets, safety, routine, and personalized attention are my top priorities. Whether looking after an animal in my home or yours, I bring a high level of responsibility to their daily care. For dogs: I am lucky enough to live just a 10-minute walk away from Graves Park, where I go daily. I frequently join my neighbor and her puppy on these walks, giving me great, hands-on experience handling dogs outside, maintaining a secure grip on the leash, and being aware of our surroundings. If I am walking or sitting your dog, they will get lovely, energetic trips to the park to burn off energy, always tailored safely to their age, breed, and your specific instructions. For cats: As the sole carer for my own outdoor tabby cat, I completely understand the vigilance required to keep a pet safe. Because we don’t have a cat flap, I am used to closely monitoring my pet's whereabouts, ensuring she safely enters and leaves the house at the right times. I manage her strict twice-a-day feeding routine, keep her active with daily playtime, and—most importantly—make sure she gets plenty of cuddles and neck scratches on the sofa.

Safely looking after animals is super important and I am always extremely careful and cautious when taking care of my pets and I am no different with other animals. A safe pet is the happiest pet! This including making sure indoor animals stay indoors where they belong, making sure to check they have food and fresh water available at all times and doubling checking before leaving your property. As a school teacher, it’s important that I am trustworthy and I’m trusted everyday with young children.

About: Your pets will be spoiled rotten with me! I've cared for dogs and cats for years, including many rescues with special needs I'm very observant and detail oriented, if I notice anything unusual like a limp or change in appetite, you'll hear from me straight away. Expect plenty of photo updates while you're away because I can't help myself! Prefer daytime drop-offs for boarding it helps dogs settle in more easily and reduces first night anxiety. I was working part-time and recently took a break, so I have a pretty flexible schedule with plenty of time for pet care. Most weekdays I'm free, and I can also cover weekends when needed. I'm usually home and love spending quality time with the pets I'm sitting, I live in a flat with access to a safe shared garden. I love taking dogs out for walks in the park and longer hikes when the weather's nice. Your pet will be well looked after and comfortable with me.
