“Torri had just house sitted for me for one night. She came to a greet and meet before and was very keen to talk about all my dogs little quirks so she could look after him the best she could. My woody absolute loved her , he ate all his food which in the past other people that look after him haven’t been as successful . She is patient loving and caring. Woody loves her so much do he slept with her on her bed. Looking forward to Torrie looking after him again .”

About: I’m a caring, responsible dog owner living in the Holmfirth countryside with my dog Bella. I provide personalised, loving care and treat every dog like family. I work from home in the heat of the Holmfirth countryside, so I have plenty of time for cuddles, walks and belly rubs for your family friend. I live bang next to a wall fenced park in a quite part of Holmfirth with a gated dog area. I have my own dog, Bella a small frenchie that gets on really well with people and pets.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born. I grew up with three German Shepherds and a Doberman due to previously working shifts I have not been able to have my own dog but have found a passion in taking care of other dogs whilst us humans have other things going on in life. I currently work part time so I am at home most of the time. I will only accept pets when I am at home so I can give them my upmost attention. I am happy to walk/play at any time that would usually suit them. I have a fully enclosed garden. As well as close my access to and enclosed field. My house is secure but I would not let off lead unless upmost confidence

I have a flexible schedule and WFH during the week and off work on weekends so your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding or just relaxing together, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I have a secure, fully fenced garden where they can safely enjoy time outside, along with a clean, calm home. As I don’t have any pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention during their stay. I’ll follow their usual routine for feeding, walks and any medication if needed, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

Shar-Pei, Doberman Pincher, Jack Russell, Welsh Terrier, English Bulldog, Chihuahua and many Heinz-57 breeds. I understand that different breeds have different needs and I am particularly knowledgable around bull breeds and brachycephalic breeds. I am confident with all dogs, including reactive dogs and understand the importance of training and using a consistent approach. I have a genuine love of dogs and will provide a safe, loving environment that feels like home from home to them. You can be assured that your beloved pet will receive the highest quality of care and that all their needs will be met. I will provide regular updates, photos and videos. I am able to administer medication. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I am available to care for pets from Fridays to Mondays for boarding. Your pets will have free run of the house and the secure garden. I have a large fenced garden to keep your pet safe. I allow pets on the settees and the bed unless asked not to do so. I am happy to follow any instructions from the owner. I tailor the walks to the needs of your pet and will use the commands that you instruct, to maintain consistency in training.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends for a few years now and even helped my roommate raise her kitten including flee treatment and litter training. I’ve had experience pet sitting for multiple pets at once both cats and dogs and overall love spending time with and taking care of cats and dogs alike. I am currently a uni student. I have full time availability, from Monday to Sunday, days and nights until October for the summer holidays where I will be back to part time availability I have stayed overnight at friend’s houses before to pet sit for both cats and dogs. Keeping an eye on multiple pets at a time and making sure they were well fed and entertained and being able to multitask responsibilities such as dog walking whilst making sure the cat was safe at home whilst we were out. I also have experience helping my roommate raise her kitten and keeping him company whilst my roommate was out including feeding him, cleaning out the litter tray or just playing with him so he had some company.

About: I've had cats since the age of 3, and never stopped having them. Alongside many other pets of all shapes and sizes. I started helping out a friend with her dog sitting jobs and it's continued from there. I've dog sat and walked , cat sat and checked up on friends and clients pets. One off walks and regular walks. From small senior Jack Russell to two bounding golden retrievers. I've had a good few years of experience now to offer more services . I'm currently working part time so I have the time to schedule in walks, house sitting/pet sitting and call ins. I have one ongoing walk with a Jack Russell and would like to take on more pet care work. Depending on what the owner wants , whether it's a routine walk, a pop in or a stay over. I'm happy to do it all. Happy to follow instructions to make sure your babies are happy and calm. My cat is an outdoor cat but understand some prefer theirs to stay in. With dogs I can make sure they are well seen to and will make sure I know how long they don't mind being left alone. Can pop in to fill up water and food bowls or to let any out to use to toilet.

About: I’ve taken care for pets for over 4 years now. This first began working in our family run pet shop and later developed in to me starting my own boarding service. I have grown up around animals all my life and have always loved spending time are them and caring for them. I am a boarder full time so as long as I have availability when you want to book in, I am available daily and at all hours. I ensure that I spend a great deal of time with your pets when staying with them in your homes, making sure they are comfortable and have the company they need.

“I can thoroughly recommend Chris as a dog sitter and walker following him sitting at our house looking after our dog and cat. Chris responded promptly when I first contacted him. We were trying to arrange quite short notice dog and cat sitting due to a previous arrangement breaking down. Despite this he was as able to work around our dates to be able to provide the care we needed. Our dog can be anxious and has a tendency to resource guard. Chris was excellent at arranging to visit our house to meet our dog to get an idea of his needs and accompanied mr on a walk with him. He then, also, arranged to take our dog out on his own, for a walk. This provided Chris and us with the confidence to go ahead with the sit. Chris provided daily updates (messages, photos and video) whilst we were away which was great feedback. I know our dog loved the care he received. Chris is engaging, thoughtful and caring of the animals he is looking after. His calm demeanour was great for both our pets and ourselves! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris as a sitter and to ask him to sit again in future.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based between Leeds and Manchester, we recently were devastated to lose our fox red Labrador, Callie. We have everything a dog could want, and a lot of love to dive, visiting dogs tend to settle in quickly and feel at home. I work from home full-time in an open-plan house, so your dog will always have company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day—no long periods left alone. Our home is a relaxed, dog-friendly space where dogs are treated like part of the family. We’re lucky to have a fully enclosed garden with a secure double-gate system, so dogs can safely enjoy being outside whenever they like (weather permitting!). When it’s dry, they’re free to roam in and out as they please. Exercise is a big part of our routine. Our dog used to get three walks a day, usually up on the local moors and hills or along the canal—plenty of variety, fresh air, and stimulation. My wife, Lydia, is also a huge dog lover and often joins in, which means we can walk dogs separately if needed to suit their pace, personality, or training requirements. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and reassurance while you’re away.
