“Richard and Natalie were fantastic with Riker. He was clearly very well cared for and came home happy and relaxed. Great communication and total peace of mind — we’d happily book with them again.”

“The first time I’ve left Bobby with anyone and I was absolutely terrified it would be a disaster…. Helena communicated very well throughout Bobbys stay with her and I got regular updates with some amazing pictures of Bobby having a blast and being so happy and relaxed… Bobby couldn’t have been in safer hands with Helena and I cannot recommend Helena enough… I will Definatley be using her again. Bobby is actually sat looking a little sad now we’ve left and got home bless him !”

“Danielle was fantastic with our dog, from the first meet and greet to having him while we were away. Plenty of updates so we could see how he was getting on. He was treated like he was their own pet and would not hesitate to book again.”

“Mika has had a fantastic weekend with Joanne and her family including trips out to a fair, a dog show and even a duck race. Lots of pictures of Mika's adventures were sent too. She is one happy, tired dog. Jo also has a very large enclosed garden, which is perfect for dogs. Will definitely book again. Thank you Jo”

“Laura is absolutely lovely!! Our 14 year old cockapoo is such a home bird and can get really nervous when we aren’t there but Laura made her feel really settled and by the sounds our doggy had a great time, she came home happy and content!! She updated us and sent us pictures which we really appreciated! Libby is looking forward to her next stay with Laura 🤩”
“Having lost of previous dog sitter when she moved away, we turned to Rover.com and chose Gemma for Clementine to stay with after an initial meet and greet. Gemma has been fantastic, sending photos and video daily and Clementine was clearly very settled staying with Gemma. We will definitely be using Gemma again.”

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and genuinely enjoy having them as part of my day. I share a Border Terrier with my daughter, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your dog when you can’t be there yourself. Over the years I’ve regularly looked after friends’, family members’, and neighbours’ dogs, and I love getting to know their different personalities. Whether they’re full of energy and want to play all day, or they’re happiest having a fuss and finding a cosy spot to nap, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable. One thing dogs seem to love about staying with me is the huge garden. There’s plenty of space to run around, explore, play fetch, or just sit and watch the world go by. I spend lots of time outdoors with them, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and company. I treat every dog as if they’re my own and do my best to stick to their usual routine so they feel settled and happy. My aim is for you to be able to relax while you’re away, knowing your dog is safe, well looked after, and getting lots of love and attention. Your pet will fit in very well with our daily routine. I only work around four hours a day, and my partner works later hours, so there’s usually someone at home throughout the day to provide company, attention, and care. Dogs staying with us won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime, garden time, and relaxation. We enjoy having dogs around and naturally include them in our day, making sure they get lots of attention, affection, and exercise while they’re with us. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel settled and secure, so I do my best to maintain their usual routine and make them feel like part of the family during their stay. We have a huge, fully fenced garden where dogs can safely run, play, explore, or simply relax and enjoy being outdoors. We’re also lucky to have beautiful moorland nearby, which is perfect for longer walks and giving dogs plenty of exercise, fresh air, and new scents to enjoy. Dogs staying with us become part of the family. I live with my two sons, aged 25 and 10, and we’re all huge dog lovers. There are always plenty of cuddles, fuss, and attention on offer, so your dog will never be short of company or affection. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring outdoors, or curling up for a cuddle, they’ll have lots of people around who genuinely enjoy spending time with them. We understand that every dog is different, so we’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re with us.
“Thank you so much for looking after Tessa. She had a lovely time and as soon as she met Sophie she looked happy. Sophie kept me up to date with pictures and Tessa looked happy and relaxed in all of them. I would definitely recommend Sophie and would have her pet sit Tessa again in the future:-)”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I provide a safe, calm and caring environment where your dog will be taken good care of. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles, while sticking to their usual routine as closely as possible. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages throughout their stay. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures or prefers a quiet day relaxing, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for until they’re back home with you. I have a flexible schedule and WFH during the week and off work on weekends so your dog will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding or just relaxing together, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I have a secure, fully fenced garden where they can safely enjoy time outside, along with a clean, calm home. As I don’t have any pets of my own, your dog will have my full attention during their stay. I’ll follow their usual routine for feeding, walks and any medication if needed, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
“Katarzyna was so friendly and her love for dogs was obvious when we first met her, Our dog seemed to be happy to be with her and settled quickly. She kept us updated with photos and videos which was lovely and he had some lovely walks with her. He was tired out when we picked him up, the sign of a good day! I would definitely recommend Katarzyna to a friend. Thank you!”

“Richard was lovely although our dog was scared this being her first time away from home, and being a little snappy, Richard was great with her couldn't recommend him more, dealt with her really well and kept us updated throughout her stay. Thanks again :)”

“This was the first time we have used Rover. We met Amy and family before booking in our dog. We were a bit anxious as the day before he was going to be staying with them he had a cut of his leg. We had to have it looked at the vets. Amy was attentive whilst caring for the wound and kept us updated with how it was healing. We were sent photos everyday of all his long walks and we could see he looked happy. Thank you very much. We hope to use you again in the next time we go away”

About: Wmi am the owner of 2 yo black labrador call Rolo. I know how difficult it is to find someone to look after your pet. Hence why i decided to help you out hoping that someone would do the same for us whole we are away. I am prepared to look after 1-2 dogs at a time. I am self employed and prepared to adjust my schedule to pet care. Working from home. Fully prepared to adjust. I am a proud mama of one dog that loves everybody, so no problem here. I live in a house that is fully fenced. Lots of walking paths and fields around. No rain or snow can stop us to go out.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover based between Leeds and Manchester, we recently were devastated to lose our fox red Labrador, Callie. We have everything a dog could want, and a lot of love to dive, visiting dogs tend to settle in quickly and feel at home. I work from home full-time in an open-plan house, so your dog will always have company, supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day—no long periods left alone. Our home is a relaxed, dog-friendly space where dogs are treated like part of the family. We’re lucky to have a fully enclosed garden with a secure double-gate system, so dogs can safely enjoy being outside whenever they like (weather permitting!). When it’s dry, they’re free to roam in and out as they please. Exercise is a big part of our routine. Our dog used to get three walks a day, usually up on the local moors and hills or along the canal—plenty of variety, fresh air, and stimulation. My wife, Lydia, is also a huge dog lover and often joins in, which means we can walk dogs separately if needed to suit their pace, personality, or training requirements. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and reassurance while you’re away. If you’re looking for a safe, active, and loving home-from-home environment for your dog, I’d love to help. Feel free to get in touch with any questions! I work from home full time so am available for sitting any time. I’m out with our dog on walks twice a day so have no problem with walking responsibilities, and love a longer explore with the dog at the weekend. I have a fully enclosed garden, and I work looking on to it, so am always paying attention to the dogs. Our home is very pet friendly, with laminate flooring and an open plan downstairs, so dogs can have space but also always be seen.

Thanks so much to Richard & Natalie for the fabulous care given to our labrador Trooper this week. We were looking for a setting which would closely resemble his home life with a loving family and rural walks and water fun, and we definitely achieved this. It was lovely to receive daily updates via Instagram and Rover regarding Trooper's adventures. The goody bag he received on leaving was a thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again for Trooper.
