About: We have a 3 year old cocker spaniel Teddy who we’ve raised since a pup he’s the most loving boy and so so playful just looking for others to join us on walks play dates or playing in the garden! I currently work full time but do 3 days from home! Our boy gets walked 3 times a day and so would yours! We love to go out and enjoy sunrise or sunset walks. I have a fenced garden for the dogs to play in, Teddy will be happy to play and keep them company all day! We allow dogs inside, on furniture and upstairs in our home!
“Bernie has loved his time with Nikki and friends so much that he didn’t want to come home and we’re now getting the cold shoulder! Really friendly and accommodating, has obviously treated Bernie with love and care like one of her own and that’s all you can ask when you leave your little guy with someone else. It was Bernie’s first time staying away from us and we were nervous but there was no need….Plenty of updates, fully reassured that he was having a great time. “We cannot recommend Joanne enough. We had never used a dog sitter before for our pet. Milo is 16 1/2 years old and virtually blind and deaf so we were very worried and anxious about leaving him.. After meeting Joanne our minds were but at ease and Milo seemed happy and comfortable in her home. She is welcoming, caring and understanding to his needs. Joanne kept us informed and sent us pics and updates of our boy. She was so caring and loving to him and I am so thankful to her for looking after him while we celebrated a special family holiday . It was obvious from the start that they really care about the dogs they look after, and Goose settled in straight away :) They took great care of him and kept me updated, which was really appreciated. About: I am a part time dog walker and dog groomer so am used to dealing with dogs of all ages, size and breeds. I am also canine first aid qualified. Please note that your pup may be left for up to 6 hours (weekday only) due to work. They will be left with Neil who is a very well behaved boy and loves other dogs :) I have a camera so that I can keep an eye on them and I only work 10 minutes away. Dogs are allowed free roam of the house. I have a secure back garden which can be used for toilet breaks, however they will be taken for walks to the field nearby or to explore the local country park.

It was our first time using a dog sitter, so we were quite apprehensive, but the service we received was amazing. Georgina and Stuart initiated a meet and greet and then a visit again closer to booking which really helped us. Our beautiful girl Nellie loved her time with them and they kept us updated several times a day with videos and photos which were greatly appreciated. Joanne is such a lovely person felt at ease from the moment I met her and knew that my dog Ruby would be in safe hands, Joanne has sent lots of pictures and updates whilst I have been away. I appreciate that she has spent a lot of time with her and took her out for nice walks. Ruby, Jack Russell has been well looked after from the outset. Would not hesitate to ask her again.
This was the first time I’ve used a dog sitter and I was blown away by how happy my boy Sergio was while I was away. I received daily photos and videos the whole two weeks. Malgorzata and her husband gave my boy 5 star treatment and he had other dogs to play with. I had peace of mind the whole time and can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be using them next year.
Holly was absolutely excellent, I’d highly recommend! It was our first time leaving Bertie with a sitter but Holly made us feel completely at ease and confident from the first initial intro call to the morning we picked him up. Holly kept us up to date throughout Bertie’s time with her, sending pictures and messages at regular intervals. It was evident when we dropped Bertie off and when we picked him up that he was fully comfortable and had a brilliant time. We will definitely be using Holly the next time we need a sitter!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
