We were a bit worried about leaving Rocky as this was his first time to be left without us, but after meeting Sean and getting to know how he looks after the dogs in his care our doubts we erased. Sean gave us regular updates and photos of Rocky to let us know how Rocky had settled in to a different routine. I would have no doubt about using Sean in the future if we have cause to need a dog sitter.
Wow ! Amanda looked after our precious Bella whilst we had our holiday from our very first meet and greet a couple of weeks before we were completely at ease we had regular updates with photos and above all Bella has come back happy and relaxed Amanda is simply amazing Thank you Amanda
We were very happy indeed with the care that our dog received from Kam Yan. She gave him lots of cuddles and attention and he came back relaxed and well fed. He gets nervous when he's away from us so we were very impressed with how well he settled with her. She also sent us lots of photos so we could see he was ok. I would definitely recommend her .
I cannot recommend Mary highly enough!!! She looked after our two dogs whilst we were on holiday. She administered medicine, took them for a range of walks in parks and woods around Manchester. She gave regular updates and pictures for us (and they clearly showed our dogs having a great time!). Overall, a fantastic service! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish — 10/10! Sonny was looked after so well and came home happy, settled and clearly had a brilliant week. Communication was great, there were absolutely no issues whatsoever, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. Rosie had a wonderful time with Sarah and Kevin while we were away on holiday. We did a meet and greet beforehand, which was great as it meant everything was familiar for Rosie when we dropped her off. They also took the time to ask about her usual routine and kept to it while we were away. Rosie had plenty of walks and was clearly very happy and settled. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
