“Our dog Gloria had a lovely stay with Megan, we often worry because Gloria can be a little bit of a diva and has some separation anxiety. But Megan was great with her and adapted to her needs. She kept us up to date with how she was getting on too which made us feel really at ease. Would definitely like to book her in to stay again and would definitely recommend Megan.”

“Matthew was excellent with my dog, Luca. I immediately got a sense of calm when I went to visit before her stay which is important for her as she can be quite anxious, but I knew from then on that she would have the best time, especially when Matthew asked if she liked long walks. You can tell they are a family of genuine dog lovers and they went out of their way to make sure that Luca’s stay was as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend Matthew!!”

“Carol was an absolute hero for us, accepting our request on short notice and going above and beyond during her check ins. She followed the instructions perfectly and her communication and daily reports were very appreciated. She also showed a lot of patience with our very shy cat, Crumb and eventually won her over. We would be delighted for Carol to look after our cats the next time we are away!”

“Katie was very attentive and professional! She kept us well informed of our kitty drop-ins and they really seemed to like her. She was also very flexible and helpful when we had a sudden scheduling issue, so we really appreciated that as well :)) would book again”

“Christine has been an outstanding cat sitter. She has made our cat feel so comfortable, and sent so many daily updates with photos, videos and check ins with how he is doing. She has also done a great job of looking after our home whilst away. Thank you Christine!”

“Our cats loved Cynthia! She was so lovely, and it was really easy to coordinate giving her the keys, showing her everything they needed, and messaging when we were away. They loved spending time with her, and it was so reassuring for us to know the were so well cared for when we were away. She sent lots of updates and photos as well. We’d definitely book with her again in future, thank you!!”

“Luke spent a week house sitting for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. He looked after our little ones as if they were his own, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. He kept us updated throughout the week with messages and photos, took great care of our plants, and was always happy to go the extra mile whenever needed. I’m sure Yukki and Hima absolutely adored him, and it was clear they were happy and well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to ask Luke to house sit again and couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you, Luke, for taking such wonderful care of our little family!”

“Melissa is a very kind person and is aware of the needs of senior cats, and she is very gentle with them. She was very supportive to take care of our sick cat. Melissa comes with alternative solutions to make things easier for our cat in need, she is very helpful and friendly. It was great meeting with you, Melissa: Thank you very much for giving us the comfort we needed so that we could pay our full attention to make Muffin feel better in her final days.”

“Molly was absolutely fantastic looking after our cat, Noodle, while we were away for a week in Italy. From the very first visit she kept us updated with detailed messages, photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious how much time and care she spent with him, not just feeding him but playing with him, brushing him, giving him lots of attention and really getting to know his little personality and routines. Molly was incredibly attentive and proactive throughout the booking. She noticed changes in his eating habits during the hot weather, kept an eye on him when he was sick one evening, cleaned everything up, and continued to monitor him closely afterwards. She also kindly watered our plants, brought in our post, and even went out of her way to drop a key off to our cleaners when we realised we’d forgotten to arrange it before leaving. We came home to a very happy, relaxed cat, which says everything about the quality of care he received. Noodle clearly adored her, and we felt completely reassured throughout our holiday knowing he was in such good hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Molly and will absolutely be booking her again in the future. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

Pebbles can be initially seem quite anxious in an unfamiliar environment but Ka Man was very respectful of Pebbles which enabled her to settle giving her space. As a result Pebbles was noticeably excited to return for her second day with Ka Man ❤️”

About: I’ve looked after dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and have always been the person friends and family rely on when they need someone dependable to care for their pets. I currently have a 3-year-old cocker spaniel called Ozzy, so I understand the importance of routine, exercise, patience and giving dogs the right balance of attention and calm. I also regularly look after my mother-in-law’s 4-year-old lab, Max, which has given me experience caring for larger, energetic dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, play, overnight care and sticking closely to routines that help pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I know how important trust and communication are when leaving your pet with someone else, so I always aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care and regular updates throughout. I work from home, so my routine is very flexible and I can plan pet care around each dog’s needs. I’m available for dog walks and home visits on weekdays between 11:30am and 2pm, and I’m also available at any time on weekends. I’m happy to work around regular routines, whether that means a steady walk, a lunchtime check-in, feeding, playtime, or simply giving your pet some company while you’re out. For walks and visits, I focus on keeping pets safe, settled and cared for in their usual routine. I’ll follow any instructions closely, make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and give them attention, play or a calm walk depending on their needs. As a dog owner myself, I’m attentive to behaviour, exercise needs and giving dogs the right balance of play, structure and downtime. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and any specific requirements so they receive care that feels familiar and consistent. I’ll always keep owners updated, so you know your pet has been looked after properly while you’re out.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life - from my first family dog growing up to my soul dog, Lucy, who me and my boyfriend, Joe, have now! We’ve always been happy to take care of other dogs no matter their age or size. This means we’ve had experience with 2 puppies, right up until caring for a senior dog who had multiple illnesses and required medications and extra loving. I’m work from home Monday-Fri, and Joe works fairly flexibly so there is usually at least one of us at home. We have our own dog so she is always built into our plans and we often like to take day trips out in our campervan to give Lucy a fab day out. We have a safe, enclosed garden with plenty of room to run about and our living room door backs onto this so we can always keep an eye on pups playing outside. Lucy isn’t crate trained but we’d be happy to accommodate a crate if provided.

“Stan had a brilliant time at Sarah's, a testament to her, that he actually ate when he was with her. Stan normally won't eat his food for around 12 hours if I'm not around, even with my husband, so for Stan to eat is a huge sign he was happy. He came back tired 🤣 obviously been a busy boy. Thanks for taking such good care of Stan Sarah and we look forward to seeing you next week 😄”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Sadly having recently lost our family dog of 15 years I’m looking to fill the big gap left in my heart. Not wanting to totally commit to another dog at the moment, I would love the opportunity to care for others as my own in our dog loving family home. With more than 40 years experience of all kinds of dogs, and other animals I’m well equipped with all the tools and most importantly patience and love to care for your furry friend. Our dog was a rescue who came with issues which we managed to work through enabling him to live a happy 15 years with us. I will treat yours as my own, being mindful to respect any rules and values you may have, offering plenty of walks, love and affection. I’m currently working part time from home which means I am extremely flexible and have plenty of availability. I am generally at home and would enjoy the company of a dog in the house again with me as we lost our dog of 15 years and miss him terribly. I am happy to drive a short distance to collect or do home visits and walks. There are no young children in the house, we are all confident, experienced animal lovers especially dogs. Our dog always slept in his own bed, either downstairs or in one of our bedrooms at night and was generally not allowed on the sofa or beds unless invited. Any dog would be treated like part of the family and we would accommodate any particular needs as best we can. I would always respect the rules that you have for your pet as I appreciate how frustrating it can be when these are not adhered to. I have experience of caring for both young and old. There are currently no other pets in the house and I would only ever have a maximum of 2-3 dogs at a time depending on their individual requirements and temperament and assuming they are tolerant of others and happy to have playmates. We have a large garden which is fully fenced and secure.

As a Spanish woman living in Manchester for the past 12 years, I know how important it is to find someone reliable and truly caring to look after your best friend, especially when you have no family members to support you with this. I have been on the other side for many years when I was working in the office or when needing to travel back home. Whether you need dog walks, night care or full day care while away, I can be here for you to offer that top-notch support so your pets always feel loved and cared for in a warm and welcoming environment for them. My services include attentive pet sitting tailored to your pet's needs. From fun play sessions to relaxing walks, your dogs will receive the best care possible. With my experience and devotion, you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. If you're interested in personalized pet care and want to discuss your needs further, feel free to message me
About: I moved out of my family home 3 years ago and miss my childhood dog so much but not in a position to have our own yet. This is why I’d love to take care of dogs again and be around them. I have walked and cared for friends and family members dogs as well as my own. I love to be around them and will give them lots of fuss and affection. I work as a freelancer in TV which means I have a lot of spare time. I can care for the dog 24/7 and my partner also works from home. I live next to a park with a trail down the canal, but also able to drive to different places for walks. I have taken part in a CPD emergency first aid for dogs. I have a fenced small garden. Small 2 bed house with room to move about for bigger dogs. No easy access out of the house and will always be kept an eye on. Able to cater to the dogs needs in terms of food and sleep

About: As a recent Animal Science graduate and aspiring Veterinarian, I have spent years gaining experience caring for dogs. This has involved caring for my own dog, the pets of friends and family and working in a doggy daycare. My experience ranges from puppies to seniors and end of life care. Every opportunity I have been given to look after dogs I have thoroughly enjoyed and I look forward to meeting your pets too! I work part-time on a fixed schedule, which means I know my availability well in advance, allowing your pet and me to establish the 'paw-fect' routine! My shifts are never longer than four hours, so I will never be away for extended periods of time. I have two full days off each week and plenty of availability around my work shifts, giving me lots of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime and overnight stays! I believe the most important thing a sitter can do is ensure the pet sticks to their normal routine. Following the instructions you provide me, I will make sure that your pet has a comfortable sit and stays happy and relaxed whilst they are away from their family. Additionally, I will take special care when opening doors and gates in your home. On hot summer days, I will walk them in the early morning or later in the evening to keep your pet safe. If there are any particular concerns, please let me know and I will keep them in mind during my time caring for your pet. Also, I have an enhanced DBS check to give you extra peace of mind.

“Sarah and Kevin were wonderful at looking after our dog and sent daily updates where he was clearly having the BEST time! They took such good care of him he was genuinely reluctant to leave when we picked him up!! They have the biggest dog toy box and a lovely garden for the dogs to play in and have nice walks to go on. Thank you, both, so much!!! Lucie”

“BEST SITTERS IVE EVER USED!!!! My dog normally has really bad separation anxiety… not this time! Ellie and her partner were absolutely amazing with Lucky and he even got to go to the Peak District with them! “Ana and her husband Andre looked after our Spanish water dog Digby for 7 days this July. Digby was very well looked after, with all the exercise and stimulation she needs (which is a lot!). I think Digby was actually sad to come home! I would be very happy to recommend Ana, and we will definitely send Digby again!”

“Being a fellow Rover sitter, my quest for the perfect sitter led me to believe I found her! Sarah, undaunted by Max's age and dietary preferences, happily adapted to his needs. She let him carve out his own cozy haven, flooding us with charming photos capturing Max's ever-wagging tail. He received an abundance of tender loving care from Sarah and her lovely family! With Christmas and New Year holding significance in family traditions, we're thrilled we chose Sarah, who graciously embraced Max into her home. A huge thank you, Sarah! We wholeheartedly recommend you 100%! Here’s hoping to more holiday adventures with Max in your capable hands. xxx”
“Absolutely amazing people, looked after Skye so well. It’s always nerve racking leaving your dog, but I felt really comfortable with Sez. They really came across as such great dog lovers, so I really didn’t have any hesitation leaving Skye. They kept me updated, videos, pictures and text messages. It was lovely knowing my dog was having a mini holiday too. Wouldn’t hesitate to ask them again to mind her. Thank you so so much 🌸🌸🌸”

“Sophie looked after our golden retriever for the first time of us leaving him to go on holiday and did an incredible job. A one and a half year old golden retriever is no small challenge, but Bruno had so much fun playing with Lola and you can tell he was well looked after. Sophie was really honest about some behavioural issues Bruno had around marking & resource guarding etc as we hadn’t had him in anyone else’s house before - we were incredibly grateful for this and it’s given us some things to work on him with. She sent regular updates & was so nice to see he made a friend in Lola! Highly reccomended Sophie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, patient and caring dog sitter”

“From the offset, I knew our dog, Teddy, was going to be happy with Rebecca whilst we were on holiday. On our meet and greet, he ran straight into her house with no hesitation and had a little play in the garden etc. Rebecca was great at sending regular updates, with photos and videos, but at the same time didn’t bombard us every day. We’ll definitely send Ted to Rebecca again, he’s been really calm and settled since we got back, something which usually takes him several days to do😊”

About: Hi, I'm Anna! I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember and understand just how important they are as part of the family. I grew up with my family dog, Harvey, who lives with my family in Manchester and is very much adored by all of us. We also cared for an elderly dog called Tiny in the last few years of her life and she will always have a special place in my heart. Having cared for dogs for years, I know how important it is to make sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. While studying in Edinburgh, I regularly walked dogs of various breeds and personalities, which gave me experience handling different needs and temperaments. In my spare time, I enjoy long walks, going to the gym and watching films – and I'd love the opportunity to spend time with and care for your dog too! I currently work full time in Manchester however my job is really flexible with the hours and allowing me to work remotely whenever I like. I also have a non working day every other Friday. I am currently living in Salford with my flatmate therefore I am comfortable to do home visits and walks around Manchester. I love visiting different places so happy to take your dog wherever. We do not have any pets in our flat however it is pet-friendly.
