About: I’ve always had dogs in my life - from my first family dog growing up to my soul dog, Lucy, who me and my boyfriend, Joe, have now! We’ve always been happy to take care of other dogs no matter their age or size. This means we’ve had experience with 2 puppies, right up until caring for a senior dog who had multiple illnesses and required medications and extra loving. I’m work from home Monday-Fri, and Joe works fairly flexibly so there is usually at least one of us at home. We have our own dog so she is always built into our plans and we often like to take day trips out in our campervan to give Lucy a fab day out. We have a safe, enclosed garden with plenty of room to run about and our living room door backs onto this so we can always keep an eye on pups playing outside. Communication was generally smooth, and the visits covered the essentials. I was surprised that Harry updated photos almost every visit. When I got home, Robin was especially affectionate and eager for attention. He may simply have missed me, but overall, he seems to be doing fine. Overall, a positive experience for this booking.”

There are crates available downstairs with beds in and covers over, so if anyone wants some quiet time, they will take themselves in their preferred safe place There is an automatic dog flap on the back door and everyone has their own sensor on their collar so they are free to leave and enter the house for toileting day or night I am regularly moving between the garden, house and grooming salon so any mess that needs sweeping up is cleared frequently Downstairs at home is all hard floors and is mopped as often as is needed throughout the day If there are any accident on the carpets upstairs, I have a pet carpet shampoo machine so it's quick and easy to do and is done as soon as anything happens

About: I moved out of my family home 3 years ago and miss my childhood dog so much but not in a position to have our own yet. This is why I’d love to take care of dogs again and be around them. I have walked and cared for friends and family members dogs as well as my own. I love to be around them and will give them lots of fuss and affection. I am generally at home and would enjoy the company of a dog in the house again with me as we lost our dog of 15 years and miss him terribly. I am happy to drive a short distance to collect or do home visits and walks. There are no young children in the house, we are all confident, experienced animal lovers especially dogs. Our dog always slept in his own bed, either downstairs or in one of our bedrooms at night and was generally not allowed on the sofa or beds unless invited. Any dog would be treated like part of the family and we would accommodate any particular needs as best we can. I would always respect the rules that you have for your pet as I appreciate how frustrating it can be when these are not adhered to. I have experience of caring for both young and old. There are currently no other pets in the house and I would only ever have a maximum of 2-3 dogs at a time depending on their individual requirements and temperament and assuming they are tolerant of others and happy to have playmates. We have a large garden which is fully fenced and secure.

Both cats and dogs as well as reptiles and rodents :) I currently work as a freelance photographer so I have a fair bit of time during the week available to play with and look after your pets! I have several of my own and have a very flexible schedule! I volunteer at a rescue 3:30-6pm on a Wednesday so that time on a Wednesday is unavailable. Most days of the week I can be flexible. I will happily look after your pet with any instructions you may want to give me. My pup has her own routine most of the time and I know a lot of people are the same and I will be more than happy to stick to that should owners want that.
