About: Hi! I’m a caring and responsible animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your furry friend is happy, safe and well looked after while you’re away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine, whether that means long walks, plenty of playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply giving them some company and reassurance. I’ll always keep you updated while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your pet is in safe and caring hands. I’d love to meet you and your pet and help make your time apart as stress free as possible! 🐶🐱🐹🐰 I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to fit pet care easily into my week. I’m a mum to a 5 year old son, so I’m used to being responsible, organised and attentive. I can plan pet care around my routine and make sure each pet gets plenty of time, attention, exercise and companionship. As a pet owner I understand how scary it can be to leave them in the care of another person, I will ensure I will do my absolute best to give them the best care and attention that they need and deserve.

About: With 12 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I bring medical knowledge, a calm demeanor, and deep compassion to every pet I care for. I'm comfortable giving medications, handling senior pets with mobility issues, and understanding subtle changes in behavior that others might miss. I’m also great with nervous or shy animals—patience and kindness go a long way. As a proud cat mom, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always tailor my care to match. As a full-time mom with a flexible schedule, I’m home most of the day and can easily fit pet care into my routine. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays, I make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and love they need. I plan my day around their comfort, keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment—clean, secure, and free of hazards. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, dietary needs, and any medical instructions. In a pet owner's home, I respect their space and keep everything just as they left it. I take time to build trust with every pet, making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved whether we’re at my place or theirs.

About: I have dog walked and sat many pets (cats/dogs/guinea’s) for both friends/family for years as well as on other apps such as borrowmydoggy. I am familiar with many breeds of dogs/cats small to large and have experience giving dogs baths after walks & giving oral medication to both for various conditions including antibiotics in tablet form, liquid medications and painkillers & spot-on treatments. I have two indoor cats myself with two very different personalities so I am very use to different temperaments and needs - they are well socialised and friendly with people and are very unbothered cats but often get crazy zoomies throughout the day. Unfortunately until I am a homeowner I am unable to get a dog of my own so I have looked after friends pets and used apps such as borrow my doggy over the years as I love them so much and allows me to be around animals as often as I can! Services I can offer include: • Feeding & replenishing water (wet & dry food, exactly as instructed) • Administering oral medicine / keeping an eye on general health and behaviours • Litter box cleaning / poop scooping / washing dogs in the bath after walks • Walking dogs or letting cats inside/outside • Plenty of photo & video updates • Any home maintenance (e.g watering plants, collecting mail if needed) • Care for Guineas/Gerbils/Hamsters I work full time but am usually home for around 5pm so anytime after this I am able to help out with. However- I do not work weekends so Saturday/Sunday I am available early morning-late night. I have dog walked and sat many pets (cats/dogs/guinea’s) for both friends/family for years as well as on other apps such as borrowmydoggy. About: Hi my name is Hannah, I'm 18 years old and I live in Sale, part of Greater Manchester. I spent many years of my life living with dogs, cats, fish and guinea pigs. After losing my dog Alfie, I have wanted more than anything to spend more time with animals and i would love to look after your furry friends! In my spare time I love walking, I love flying light aircraft, I'm a big fan of art and I love spending time with my friends. As I love walking, I would be offering dog walking, as well as pet sitting (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs) and staying overnight if needed. I understand that all animals have their own routines so I want to ensure I can adhere to their routines as much as possible. I drive so I would be able to take your dogs to nearby parks or days out such as Tatton Park etc. Having finished sixth form this year and looking for some time away from studying, I am free most of the time and am very flexible, I have no issues staying late. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your furry friends! Having just finished sixth form I am very flexible and can work any day of the week and i can work weekends. I have no problem staying late or doing overnights I have a quiet and cozy home with plenty of safe spots for them curl up. My doors and windows are secure, with a cat flap provided

Gareth has been so patient with my new rescue pocket bully Dooley who has the strength of a buffalo but the confidence of a mouse! He's not minded him nervous weeing all over the floor (and cleaned it up!) and taking it at Dooleys pace (a slow waddle). 🐌 adapting how he greets him in response, which has already made a difference! He has been flexible and even came to check-in on a day he no longer needed to, a visit which increased my confidence massively in Dooleys progress with new people! Gareth is great and would definately recommend him 😊

Booked Harry for daily visits to care for my cat, Robin, over the past two weeks. Robin was healthy and doing well when I returned, which is the most important thing. Communication was generally smooth, and the visits covered the essentials. I was surprised that Harry updated photos almost every visit. When I got home, Robin was especially affectionate and eager for attention. He may simply have missed me, but overall, he seems to be doing fine. Overall, a positive experience for this booking.

About: I’ve been a dog parent since puppy days! I raised my Cockapoo from 8 weeks old, so I know all about toilet training, teething, puppy energy, and keeping them entertained. I’m used to daily walks in public, meeting other dogs, and making sure walks are safe, fun, and well-behaved. Growing up I also had a family cat who lived to a ripe old age of 21! She was the sweetest, most loving cat and taught me how to care for cats with patience and lots of attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own — with playtime, cuddles, and regular updates with photos so you know they’re happy. I work part time so I’m available every Tuesday and alternate weekends for pet sitting. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I love having a schedule. I plan my day around walks, meals, playtime, and cuddles, and I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. Safety is my #1 priority. In your home, I’ll stick to your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, play, and bedtime so they feel comfortable. I’ll keep doors/windows secure, use leads on walks, and never leave your pet unsupervised in unsafe areas. In my home: I have a pet-free, clean space with a secure garden. I’ll provide lots of play, toilet breaks, and cuddles. I send photo/video updates every visit so you know your pet is happy and safe. Happy to follow any specific instructions you have!

She clearly has a deep love for dogs which shows in how she interacts and talks about them. Bernie was content when we returned and I would definitely use her again in the future.

There are 1,891 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Trafford. About 91% of Trafford sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
