“We feel very happy that we found Mary. She came to visit our cat Elsa over a long weekend and we felt completely relaxed and reassured while we were away. Lovely to get regular updates. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Mary! X”

“Peter was friendly, professional and really goes the extra mile for the pups he cares for. We are really grateful that our puppy Stephen got to spend some time with him today (especially as it was last minute) and would absolutely recommend. The care and attention Peter puts into his bookings is so lovely. Thank you Peter!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Keri! 👋 I am a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a busy, pet-filled household in South Africa, and I've been living here in the UK for the last few years. From massive, lovable Rottweilers and energetic German Shepherds to gentle Maltese Poodles, Labradors, and rescue cats, I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. My background includes caring for a wide range of dog breeds and cats, many of which were rescues, and each with unique personalities and needs. This experience has given me the ability to quickly adapt and provide tailored care for any pet. I know how tough it can be to leave your furry family members behind, so my absolute priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and affectionate environment where they can thrive until you get back. I currently work in a hybrid setting. This means that I have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your pets home to keep them company during the day. Alternatively, I'm available to sleep in Thursday to Monday or do evening check-ins during the week. For me, exceptional pet care comes down to consistency, safety, and open communication. Every pet has a unique personality and history, especially rescues, and I easily adapt my approach to make them feel comfortable and happy. * **Secure Environment:** I have a fully secured garden with a 6-foot fence, offering a safe space for dogs to enjoy time outside. * **Respecting Routines:** I strictly mirror your pet's existing feeding, exercise, and sleep schedules to minimize separation anxiety. * **Safety & Security:** I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensure all gates and doors are secured, and keep dogs strictly on-leash during walks unless in a designated enclosed area. * **Peace of Mind:** I provide regular photo updates so you always know how they are doing. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a calm, structured environment filled with lots of love and cuddles, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.

About: I am new to Rover platform but not new to looking after adorable (and the pesky!) little doggos. We had family pets growing up but I don't have any of my own right now. I have cared for mine and friends' pets from young to senior and I understand the different types of attention different breeds and personalities would need. My time is very flexible at the moment so I can always work around your schedule. I would love to fill my days giving attention and affection to the little 4-legged-steal-my-heart creatures! I am happy to fuss over your furry friend :) My working day is very flexible at the moment and so I can also be as flexible as necessary around you. Hourly walks, timed medication, regular play time, etc. I have a small balcony for access to fresh air but walks and toilet time will be in the park on the doorstep of my flat. I can do light grooming, give prescribed medication, play time, cuddle time l, regular photo updates and any specific requirements the pet or owner needs.
“Amy was great when sitting our cat Ally. She gave regular updates after her daily visits including photos and videos. Ally was clearly very comfortable around Amy and we'd happily use her again in the future.”

“Elizabeth was fantastic! She asked all the right questions about the care for our cat, and took plenty of photos for her check-in. Reliable, trustworthy and kind. Would highly recommend! <3”

“It was great to have Olivia look after our elderly cat Snowy, who took to Olivia immediately, which does make it easier for me to have a few days away knowing she’s well looked after and having someone spend some time with her. Olivia sent lots of pictures every day which was great to see. I’d highly recommend Olivia and will definitely be using her again on our next break xx”

About: I've been an animal person since I was really young but never had a dog or cat over because mum is allergic. My husband and I adopted a rescue dog the year we were married and it was the best thing we ever did. Since then, we've opened our homes and hearts to several rescues, fosters, and furry boarders! Rest assured, your fur baby will be pampered spoilt at ours! I work part-time and spend a few days of the week working from home, and my husband travels on work once or twice a week, so we are available to board most days of the week. Additionally I am VTQ certified in Advanced Pet first aid, so your pet is in safe hands, should it ever be needed. Our home is a large enough space for your fur baby to run around free. We also have a 6 and a half year old rescue indie-spitz who would love to make new play mates!

“Elsa looked after my cat whilst I was away and did an amazing job! Vinnie was very content when I came back and was clearly well looked after. I got plenty of thorough updates and photos which I really appreciated. I would happily rebook Elsa and recommend her to others!”

About: I have always had a dog growing up. It all began with a red nose pitbull names Monique and now I have my rescue dog Roscoe. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I have spent some time assisting my friend who is a professional dog walker in London. I have experience with reactive dogs. Roscoe was highly strung and very anxious when we first got him, we've learned a lot and did a lot of training with him. Now he happily plays with lots of other dogs in our area. Edit: Our sweet boy Roscoe has now passed. I'm a full-time yoga teacher and I am available most days 9-5 when you're working. I also some weekend availability with advanced notice. I'm here to help. I have a secure garden and a very friendly pooch that will help create a comfortable environment for your dog. I also live 2 mins walk to a forest and to a playing field.
About: Dogs have been in my family since I was born. As such, I have a knack for being playful yet can apply firm instruction when needed. I have a calm disposition and feel that dogs can sense this and respond well to it. I am here to give your pet the care and attention they diserve, meaning walks and play but also creating a relaxing atmosphere and cuddles too. I run my own business out of my home and so can work pet care vary easily into my routine and am very flexible. I have a car and so distance isn't an issue either. I am always the first to dog/cat sit for friends when they're away. I have a mix of toys and treats that I bring with me every time I take care of a pet but if they have a favourite toy, the better. I take my time, treating every pet as an individual and every sit seriously. I look forward to getting to know each animal and their personality every time I sit for one.
About: We got our first family dog when I was about 8 years old. When I was about 14 we adopted Mickey, aged 2 - the family dog who sadly passed last year, aged 19. Since then my family had Pablo, an energetic Sprocker Spaniel. And my partner and I have had our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Copper, for 6 years from being a puppy. I regularly care for Pablo when my parents are on holiday, and have looked after friends dogs in the past. I'm working from home typically 2 days a week. On the days I'm in work, my dog will be looked after by friends or parents. My daily routine when working from home consists of a 45 minute walk first thing in the morning to the local park - usually 7.30/8am - and if the dog is up for it, the same in the late afternoon. I have a small secure garden which is padlocked at the back. I don't leave my dog unsupervised outside and just let him out for the toilet. I work upstairs in the spare room - so I just put the dogs bed next to my desk where he likes to sit. He will go down and get water when he needs it.
“Ailsa looked after Lucy on really short notice. She came to do a meet and greet on an extremely quick timescale and looked after our dog for us a couple of days later. Our dog can be a handful and has very particular needs and Ailsa really understood what we needed and what our dog needed too. She really put us at ease and did a fantastic job. We came home to a very chilled out and tired dog who seemed to have had a great time. She kept us updated and sent photos too, which was very reassuring for us as this is the first time we have left her with anyone that isn’t family. Will definitely be using again and I would highly recommend.”

“Danielle has been fantastic looking after my Charlie whilst I have been away. She spent a lot of time with him, playing, cuddles etc and was able to confidently administer his twice daily doses of insulin. I gratefully received lots of updates pictures and videos amd Charlie looked so happy and content, you can tell Danielle loves cats and is very caring. I'd highly recommend her.”

Would highly recommend and book Wil's service again for future sits with my Garfield! Garf a bit of an anxious, slow to warm up cat but Wil has been really good with giving updates and taking plenty of photos to send to me and they seem to be getting on really well only after a few days/visits.
Maisie was amazing!!! So many pictures of our cat and a lovely paragraph detailing how he was. It was so reassuring to know he was in safe and caring hands whilst we were away and we would definitely rebook with Maisie for any future plans or holidays. We cannot recommend her enough!! Thank you Maisie! ❤️

Clare was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for our cats. She kept us updated throughout the days. This was our first time booking a cat sitter and we felt nervous. But clare really put us at ease. I really liked that she came to visit before the booking and was really thorough in checking little details. She made us feel so comfortable leaving our cats in her hands. We ended up having to extend our booking last minute and clare easily amended this for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We have a nervous cat and she even put soothing music on to help keep her relaxed. We are so glad we've found clare and will definitely be booking with her again.

Amazing service from Mary! I was kept updated fully on how my cat was whilst in Mary's care and she took the time at our meet and greet beforehand to talk through everything and make sure she had everything needed to look after my cat fully. I received plenty of photos and you can tell this is a passion as well as a job for Mary. 😍😍😍

Fantastic and friendly cat sitting service provided by Imogen. Highly recommend! Really appreciated the intro chat, and photos and updates regarding our cats whilst away. Imogen kept everything so clean and tidy (even when cats were causing chaos! ) Really appreciate it Imogen! Thanks!

We always have Holly looking after our cat fifi when we go away. Holly always keeps us updated with photos and videos and we can see how happy and content fifi is. She is amazing with her, especially as fifi requires medication twice a day. Would recommend Holly to anyone that needs their cat looking after!

Dee did a great job at sitting for us when we found ourselves without a sitter last minute. She has been very professional, courteous and prompt at every stage. I particularly liked that she came at a good early morning slot which helped maintain Zeppelins routine. Dee is very jolly and friendly which our social Zeppelin likes, and made sure we were kept up to date with videos and pictures during each sit. Will definitely book again.
This was our first time booking a cat sitter and through Rover. I cannot recomend Rita enough! She has been really easy to deal with and communicate with. We had frequent updates whilst we were away which put us at ease, as our cat is quite elderly and has some health issues. Thanks again Rita!
