“Dropped Odin off and picked him up with no problem. Loved the meet and greet before to see how he would get on! I have one tired pup who definitely enjoyed himself. Updates throughout the day and great communication prior. Thank you!”

“Charlie was a little frightened around the other dogs initially but he settled in and eventually the dogs were all sleeping together, of course, Charlie took a prime position on the bed. He went on a lovely walk with the other dogs. I was sent regular photos and videos which was reassuring.”

“Muffin had a great time with Sonia! He felt comfortable immediately and Sonia's communication was amazing, regularly sending photos and updates and letting us know how muffin was doing, thank you Sonia!”

“Jenni is absolutely amazing, we were let down last minute and Jenni responded very quickly and was able to help look after our boy for a few hours. He was very happy with her and enjoyed his day. Thank you so much, we will definitely be booking again 😊”

“Jack is Diamond Dog’s regular sitter. She is so happy to see him and drags me in first thing, ready for her morning fuss. She’s well cared for and returns a very happy girl.”

“Took all of our needs into consideration, really friendly and made sure my little baby was looked after. Was also a quick change of times and no problem! Would use again for sure! Thanks Samatha 😌”

“Would 100% recommend Neda. We met her before their stay and they instantly felt safe and content. Neda is very welcoming and had a good collection of small dogs which helped keep Bailey and Bella entertained all day!”

About: I am the proud Cat Mama of a 3 year golden tabby rescue named Butters and a 2 year old silver tabby named Morpheus. They rule the house! I live in Cheadle Heath and can travel around the Cheadle / Hazel Grove / Stockport area. I can also travel to Levenshulme , Longsight and Manchester City Centre however this will increase my rate by £1 per visit. As of August 17th I am free to Cat sit full time. I had four beloved cats growing up. I often cat sit for friends when they are away and cat sit privately. I administer complex medication as part of my human job so please let me know if you need me to help with kitty meds! I haven’t done injectable meds before however can do this with a test run being shown to me. I also have an enhanced DBS check. I can be free at any time to visit your pets if given enough notice. If it is dog walking I would do this early morning or around 4pm. In my home I have 2 cats who are indoor at night and come in and out during the day. I currently do not have pets to come to stay at our home as one of my cats is a rescue and can be scared of other animals.

“Caoimhe loved her day with Cassidy and Michael and was really well looked after. It was a last minute booking but they arranged a meet and greet in a park the day before. Communication was excellent before, during and at pick up time. I was kept updated throughout the day with photos and Caoimhe enjoyed a long lunchtime walk. I would definitely use Cassidy and Michael again.”

“Annie has been amazing with Ruby, she is normally wary of strangers but after the initial meet and greet, Ruby snuggled next to Annie and was very relaxed and comfortable throughout the day. Would recommend Annie to all doggy parents, and will certainly book another appointment with her!”

“Lulu had a lovely day at Diane’s. She was totally at home in no time at all and Diane kept me informed with messages and photos during the day. I have already rebooked and would definitely recommend Diane.”

“Another booking with Jamie, Nicola and Carlton and another amazing day for Milo. Once again, we couldn't reccomend them more. Attentive, caring and truly dog lovers, we will definitely book again.”

“Maggie loved her time with Hannah, she even kept looking back for her on our walk home! She answered any messages quickly and sent some updates during the day. Couldn’t ask for a better first experience using Rover.”

“Clare was absolutely amazing with our dog, Ted. She's super understanding and clearly loves dogs! Ted was so happy when we picked him up from daycare and had clearly had a great time and was well looked after!”

“Julia and Anthony are the most amazing, friendly and wonderful people to leave your doggie with. Our cockapoo couldn’t have been in better hands. We were kept informed how she was with photos and videos. They have the most incredible set up at their home, with activities to keep your dog busy including tunnels, toys and see-saws. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for looking after our dog so wonderfully.”

Bella is absolutely amazing and I couldn’t recommend her enough ❤️ great communication all day, Wilson was spoilt and loved and truly in the safest hands ❤️ so happy to have met Bella and will definitely love for Wilson to stay with her again, she puts my mind at ease knowing he’s in the best hands ❤️ thank you again xx

This was the first time we had used any doggy care for Mabel our Cocker Spaniel. We are delighted with the care Mabel had and at short notice. Negar kept us informed during the day with photos and short videos because she realised we were anxious about leaving Mabel with anyone. When we picked Mabel up she was her usual happy self. Relaxed but tail wagging ready to play. Thank you Negar for your care and attention showed to our fur baby. 🐾🐾❤️

Anna-Rita and her partner were amazing dog sitters :) gave him the breakfast I brought over, had toys ready for him to play with. Basil had a cosy time in the house sleeping and playing all day, and had a lovely walk through Reddish Vale. Anna-Rita provided us with images all day, had fast replies, and basil had a really nice day :) thanks Anna-Rita we will be booking again x

Chloe was lovely with Chip. He can be a little temperamental at first but he soon warmed up to Chloe within 10 mins of being dropped off, where I felt comfortable leaving him. When I came back to pick him up they were best friends and he was very happy in her company, almost as if he didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend Chloe if you are looking for a dog sitter.

Jes and her bf were great dogsitters. They agreed to a last minute request and were flexible with times too. Jes looked after Willow for two days, Willow was a little anxious the first day but the second day she was completely at ease and very excited to see them. Jes sent regular updates and photos and would always respond to messages very quickly. I couldn't recommend Jes more for a dogsit.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
