“Nicole is fab! Our rescue lurcher can be anxious when left alone and is still learning the ropes but Nicole has handled her with so much patience and kindness. It’s clear Maggie really enjoys her time with her, and we always feel completely reassured knowing she’s in safe hands. Having Nicole’s support twice a week has made such a difference to Maggie’s progress and to our peace of mind. We’re really grateful to have found her!”

“Muffin had a great time with Sonia! He felt comfortable immediately and Sonia's communication was amazing, regularly sending photos and updates and letting us know how muffin was doing, thank you Sonia!”

“Max absolutely loved his day with Lei! It was his first time at day care, and it couldn’t have gone better😊 Lei was amazing with updates, I received so many pictures and videos throughout the day. Max got 2 lovely walks in the park, and he made himself right at home and comfortable in the house. He was one happy boy when I picked him up! We’ll absolutely be back!”

About: I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for pets of all kinds—supporting family, friends, and neighbours with everything from daily walks to overnight stays. I also raised my previous own dog from a puppy, so I understand firsthand the patience, consistency, and love that go into giving pets the best care possible! Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic pup, helping a shy dog feel safe, or sticking to a familiar routine, I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priorities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m here to make your time away stress-free—and to make sure your pet feels relaxed, loved, and in great hands <3 Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine. I’m used to planning my days around walks, feeding times, and check-ins, so making space for your pet’s needs is easy and enjoyable for me. I keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to offer regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s morning outings, midday visits, or evening wind-down time, I’m consistent and reliable. Caring for pets has been part of my life for years, so incorporating your pet’s routine feels seamless and genuinely rewarding! Your pet will have a cosy, clean, and relaxed environment with lots of affection, enrichment, and supervised play. I’m mindful of their habits, energy levels, and any special needs, and I make sure they feel secure in a new space. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication. You can count on regular updates, photos, and check-ins, so you always know how your pet is doing.
“I can’t thank Ros enough for the amazing care she gave my dog. From the very start she was professional, kind, and reassuring — she really put my mind at ease and completely took away my anxiety about leaving her. She kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was clear how much love and attention she gave. My dog settled with her straight away, which says everything! I came home to a happy, relaxed pup and could tell she had been really well cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and genuinely excellent with dogs, I would 100% recommend! We’ll definitely be booking again! 🐶💛”

About: Since I was a teenager I've been taking care of my grandparents cocker spaniel Alfie for up to a week at at time, and some weekends. Recently I've bought a house and now have a 9 month old puppy of my own called Enzo. Raising him has given me experience with puppies, as well as the knowledge I had from caring for Alfie. Between the two of them they've thrown every hurdle at me so I feel well prepared to look after your dog too. It can be difficult organising last minute care, which is why I offer same-day requests and more than happy to pick up if needed. I'm available for boarding most weekends as we are in with our own pup anyway. As I work from home on Fridays and Mondays I can look after your pup both Friday and Sunday night so that's no worry. We have a large fenced garden (which Enzo loves sniffing around) and I have a spare dog crate in case your dog needs crating overnight and you have forgotten one. Enzo is crate trained but if your pup is okay sleeping in a bed/sofa in the living room that is fine too.
“Will and Sam were great with woody my 2 year old chocolate lab. I was anxious as woody had never stayed with anyone before. They kept me updated throughout the day he eventually settled and was very well cared for.”

About: I know everyone says this but we really love dogs and having had challenges finding suitable care for our own dog wanted to offer our home to others. We like to think of ourselves as offering your dog a holiday while you enjoy yours. Our Vizsla, Ivy, has given us four years of fun, challenges and far too many face licks. She loves company so taking in new pooches is as good for her as it is for us. We offer a spacious home and garden with daily walks, enrichment activities, access to the furniture and plenty of cuddles. We will adapt to your preferences and try and keep whatever routine or habits are unique to them - after all this is meant to be fun for them too! We are happy to consider dogs who may need additional help. Ivy suffers from separation anxiety so alone time is rare and she also requires daily medication. We know it can therefore be an additional struggle finding that home from home which we can offer. We have experience of medium to large breed’s primarily but happy to consider smaller companions. Our household consists of myself, my wife, our toddler, Ivy and a cat. We do like to meet out borders before confirming a stay just to ensure the dynamics suit. We have flexible work schedules so primarily one of us is always working from home. We are out at least once per day with Ivy and therefore find an additional dog fits in seamlessly with our routine. We like to do a pre meet to make sure the environment suits your dogs needs. We treat every doggy visitor as if it’s our own, and yes that does mean they can sleep on the bed.
“Carol is so easy to deal with and welcoming so I knew Lyra would have an amazing time with her and John and the dogs. She did - home from home - fun the whole time and asleep before we got home.”

“It was my first time leaving my pup with anyone and Fern made me feel so at ease! Before the day, Fern was accommodating for a meet and greet and on the day was flexible with times (I’m awful with time keeping)a Lots of pic updates, and I can just tell Lennie had the best time - he didn’t want to leave his bestie Willow. Thanks so much Fern!”

About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs I really miss having my own. I have 3 children and my boys love to help walk, play & care for dogs too. I am a keen runner so I have come back on Rover to offer a dog running service for those dogs that need more than a walk round the block. I run most evenings and from September will be able to offer a running dog service in the daytime too, I run upto 15k weekdays and longer runs on a Sunday. Being a full time mum I feel I can offer boarding anytime. Now the children are back to school I can offer walking services anytime throughout the week after 9 am. I have a lovely fenced garden front and back so lots of space and security for your dog. I live by a lovely park with lots of field space but love going on more adventurous walks too.
“Amy looked after our little girl whist we went to a movie and had a date day. Molly had a great time and Amy took great care of her. It was our 2nd time using Amy and we will be back! Thanks Amy”

About: We are two dog lovers who have our own cockapoo called George who loves other dogs and is playful and kind natured. We provide lots of cuddles and love at home and also plenty of exercise and playtime through walks and playing in the garden. As a couple who have had to find pet care for our own dog in the past, we feel we can provide an amazing service whilst enjoying the experience, as every person and dog in our house adores other dogs. I work from home 5 days a week and walk my dog George during my lunch break for 40 minutes. I would be able to do the same for your dog/s. My partner Nick walks George before work (7am) and again for at least an hour after work (5pm). Therefore looking after your dog during the week would easily fit into our routine and in the evenings we are mostly in our home with George watching TV and relaxing. If you require any weekend dog boarding we can accommodate this too. Our garden is fully fenced off and completely secure. We provide lots of love and care to our own dog and any other dogs that enter our home.
