About: I recently moved home leaving my beloved family dog (border collie named Dennis) behind. It feels very strange without a dog in the home. I have dog sat many times before for family and friends dogs - I even road tripped with my brothers Jack Russel named Molly all the way to Italy! I work fully remote and I am in the house all day throughout the week. I am able to accommodate very regular toilet breaks and play time. I am very active and can even get a walk in during lunch time, so high energy breeds are suitable! I have social events during weekday evenings but usually no more than 2-3 hours at one time and I am never usually out past 22:30PM during the week. Weekends are usually less routine, sometimes I am out on a Friday or Saturday but very rarely both. I am also rarely out late on a Sunday but often have some plans during the day. This can often include long walks which I would be happy to include your dog. If you want weekend availability, I think this would be better on ad-hoc basis depending on what my plans are on a particular date. My rear garden is fenced and enclosed with a grass area. I am very flexible in what I can accommodate - your wish is my command! I am very understanding that you want your dog to be treated exactly as you want, so they are more than welcome to sit on furniture, beds, upstairs and downstairs, even car journeys! Like I say, your wish truly is my command. I absolute adore my dog and I truly love and respect all dogs of all kinds. I offer a safe, loving and fun environment whilst putting your pets safety and wellbeing as an absolute number 1 priority.
“Chen was brilliant, listened carefully to any instructions, requests or behaviours to expect and she didn’t hesitate to ask any questions if she was unsure or I forgot to mention. She met all of Robyn’s needs and kept me updated throughout the day with lots of pics/vids 😊”

“Once again Phoebe had a great day with Sam. She seems right at home and always happy to hang out at Sam's home. Sam always takes note of our wishes to ensure Phoebe is safe and happy. I have no worries leaving Phoebe with Sam!”

About: Hello, We’re Laura and Tobias, and we would love the honour of caring for your pup as if they were our own. Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, and we truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust when you’re away. We have a 4-year-old dachshund called Noodles, who is friendly but sassy. Because of Noodles size were especially suited to boarding smaller dogs or similar breeds, so everyone feels comfortable, safe, and able to play together happily. Your dog will be welcomed into our home and treated like part of the family with plenty of cuddles, attention, and playtime. We’ll make sure we stick to their usual routine as much as possible, so they feel relaxed and at ease while you’re away. Having Noodles means your dog will also have a companion for play and comfort, which is perfect for sociable pups who enjoy being around other dogs. We’d love to meet you and your dog to make sure it’s the perfect match. Feel free to get in touch with any questions! Myself and my fiancé Toby work from home full time. There will always be someone home with your dog. We do multiple walks per day and lots of garden/play time opportunities. I have a secure garden and your dog will be accompanied by my dachshund Noodles. Noodles is crate trained so I can accommodate this or we can discuss other sleeping arrangements to suit your pet
“Amazing sitters, great communication and take such good care of our Labrador. We’re really accommodating whenever I was delayed in collecting him too! Thanks so much, would highly recommend”

“I always trust Demi with the care of my puppy. Knowing he's full of energy and needing a lot of attention I know I can trust them to provide the care and attention he needs without having to worry he's not being stimulated enough. After a long work day when I pick him up he's ready for a cuddle and quiet evening which is ideal after a long day in the office”

About: Thanks for finding my listing! My name is David, and I reside with my partner, Jimmy, who is also a dog lover, and our adorable 5-year-old miniature Schnauzer, Bruno. Growing up, I always had dogs at home, and over the years, I've taken care of dogs for friends and family. I've also provided professional dog sitting services in Melbourne, Australia. I can cater to your dog's needs, whether you prefer lots of cuddles or a more structured approach. I live in a large three-bedroom detached house with a securely fenced wrap-around garden, and there are parks within walking distance. Bruno is a friendly dog who loves meeting new friends and is happy to relax most of the day. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to meeting your furry companion! I work from home, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm. In the mornings, we take a walk around the block, then have a midday stroll, and in the evenings, we enjoy a longer walk I have a tidy house with spacious rooms, perfect for accommodating dogs, and a fenced garden with six-foot-high, lockable fences. Moreover, I live in a quiet cul-de-sac, so noise isn't an issue.

“Rebecca oh so very lovely, friendly and looked after Coco so well. Great communication, quick replies to messages. Would definitely recommend and we will use again when in area. Thank you Rebecca”

About: Taking dogs on daily walks, managing leash reactivity, providing basic training commands, ensuring safety in different environments. Overnight care for pets, providing meals, administering medication, playing with pets, monitoring behavior, keeping pet owners updated on their pet's status. Feeding cats, providing fresh water, litter box cleaning, interacting with cats to ensure their comfort, identifying potential health concerns. Per Care fits into my schedule very nicely as I am currently a student at London Metropolitan University, which is located in the Birmingham city centre. I have owned various pets for over 10+ years in my life and have a loving attachment towards them. I would like to seek pet company hence becoming a pet sitter. I pass for my cap to my two bedroom apartment, which is spacious enough for them to be comfortable roam free, relax and remain kept in sight at the same time.

“Was very nervous about using this app to find daycare for my pup but the experience has been great; Cooper had an amazing time with Eva! Before he arrived she had deep cleaned and puppy proofed her whole flat where Cooper would be. She really went over and beyond! Would 100% recommend Eva for anyone looking for daycare for their dog.”

“Turbo stayed with Tiago for the day and had such a great time. Tiago made him feel welcome and safe from the get go. I appreciated the updates throughout the day. I have already booked Tiago again.”

About: We believe puppies are clever little creatures just like human. We treat them with love and adoration. My daughter is great with the puppies and always wants to spend time with them. I am a full time mum at the moment, so I have quite a lot of flexibilities. My daughter always love puppies and always play with them in our community. Doggy daycare hours: 8:00am–6:00pm. Early drop-off / late pick-up by prior agreement only. Very extended stays may require boarding rates. I would prefer to bring the puppy to us as we live in a lovely community with a beautiful terrace for the pets to run around and play. We have the beautiful river downstairs to walk the puppy to Mediacity to enjoy the grassland and sunshine.
About: Hi, I'm Leah, and I'm a huge dog lover based in MediaCity, Salford! I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved their company. Growing up with two Jack Russell Terriers gave me plenty of hands-on experience, and over the years I've regularly looked after family pets and spent time with a variety of small and medium-sized breeds, including Jack Russells, Chihuahuas, and cross breeds. I work from home full-time, so your dog will have lots of company throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. Whether they enjoy playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel settled, comfortable, and right at home. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I'll always do my best to tailor their care to what they're used to. I'm lucky to live in MediaCity with several great walking spots close by. There's a large grass area right outside my building for quick toilet breaks, additional green spaces just a few minutes away, and larger parks nearby for longer walks and plenty of exercise. Whether your dog is energetic and adventurous or prefers a more relaxed pace, they'll be cared for in a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention and affection. My goal is to make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible while you're away. I know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your dog in someone else's care, which is why I'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can see how they're getting on and enjoy complete peace of mind. I offer boarding, doggy day care, house sitting, and dog walking services, and I'd be delighted to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure we're the perfect fit for each other. My flexible work from home schedule means that your dog will have plenty of company, short walks, playtime, cuddles and consistent care all throughout the day! Your dog’s safety is my top priority! I provide a safe, caring home environment with plenty of supervision, excercise and attention throughout the day.
“Valeria is an amazing dog sitter. Really responsive to my messages right from the start. Sent updates & photo's of my dog throughout the day. I will definitely be using her again to take such good care of my girl.”

Wing is excellent! Gus has a great time with Cooper and it’s so lovely to have somewhere I know he’s going to be safe and well looked after. The communication is excellent and I get regular video/ picture updates of what Gus is up to as well as feedback at the end of each day to see how he’s got on. Gus is a regular visitor now and we’re so glad we found Wing!

Here's a warm, genuine review that highlights the fact it was Edward's first Rover booking: I can't recommend Edward highly enough. This was his first time dog sitting through Rover, but you'd never have known it. From the moment we met him, it was clear he genuinely loves dogs and was completely unfazed by Rocco's loud, energetic personality. Rocco can be a handful at times, but Edward was patient, confident, and made him feel right at home. He kept us updated throughout, which gave us real peace of mind, and it was obvious that Rocco was being well looked after and getting plenty of attention. It's always a bit nerve-wracking leaving your dog with someone new, especially when they're as full-on as Rocco, but Edward made the whole experience easy. I wouldn't hesitate to trust him with Rocco again, and I think anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter would be lucky to have him look after their dog.

We had a great experience with Mei Y! She was kind, polite and very professional. She kept us updated throughout his stay, Hulk appears to have enjoyed himself and we got a lovely picture of him! We will be using her services again and can definitely recommend her.

Molly hasd a great time with her new friends. She was well looked after and carefully introduced to another dog (with ours and the other owners consent). She was very happy, we got lots of pics and updates and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you :)

Isobella has been great with Fred! Fred's been to Isobella twice so far for dog sitting and he seems to love it. Fred's gets very anxious and stressed out when I leave him so I was nervous about how he would settle in with someone new but Isobella has kept me updated with messages and pictures that really reassured me. I'd highly recommend Isobella!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Salford commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.
Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
