I look after pets for friends, whether that be popping in, going for walks or staying over. I love the different personalities they have and the joy they bring to our lives. About: I have been caring for animals since I was young! I cared for my wonderful border terrier Rolo from him being a pup up until the very end. Rolo had doggy dementia and a few health issues, so I have plenty of experience caring for senior dogs who might need abit of extra love and support. I often dog sit for my family and friends as they know how much I love their pets, I always make sure to send them lots of videos and pictures while I’m there! I also owned a horse named Reggie for 3 years, and as well as looking after him I would also look after the dogs who lived on the farm, making sure they were always clean, well fed and happy. My Yorkshire Terrier Ralph is the definition of ‘like butter wouldn’t melt’, he has taken a lot of training from being a puppy to not be as reactive to other dogs, so this has added to my knowledge and experience of different temperaments through training him. I am very confident with all animals, big and small, and will love your dogs as if they are my own. Dogs aren’t just pets- they are family and they deserve all the love! I currently work part time in hospitality on a flexible basis, so I have a really flexible schedule to be able to care for your dogs! Unfortunately due to my Yorkshire Terrier thinking he’s a lion, I can’t offer boarding at my home as I would not want to subject your dogs to his relentless yapping! However when I care for dogs in your home, I will always provide a calm and gentle presence as I know some dogs may be nervous to see a new person! When meeting new dogs, especially in their own home I like to let them approach me first as to not overwhelm them if they are not ready to interact with me yet. I appreciate that people’s homes and dogs are extremely precious to them, as are mine, so I will always treat your home with the upmost respect.

About: I have fostered 2 rescue dogs - Coffee and Rocky, who were 3 months and 10 years old respectively. I have experience with varied temperaments and needs, and can adjust accordingly to suit your pet - be it taking them on long, active jogs, or slow and steady sniff-strolls, tiring them out with fetch or just watching them nap. Both of my fosters came from life on the streets and needed patience and gentle guidance as they settled in. I’m attentive to behavioural changes and will always keep you updated on anything that seems new or concerning. I am a creative freelancer and my schedule is very flexible. As such, I'll have plenty of time to keep your fur baby company, and to make sure they are well looked after. Do drop me a line! I'll make sure your pet is fed promptly, and will note and relay any changes in appetite. I can also mix medication or supplements into food where necessary. I will change out your dog's pee pads if needed, and clean up after any messes with pet-friendly spray or wipes. If your dog has been restless in your absence and perhaps torn up the odd cushion or knocked over a plant, I will take care of this so you can return to a spotless home!

About: I’ve had 3 border collies and 2 German shepherds… all from puppies and raised them at different times throughout growing up. I have fed, bathed, groomed, walked, played and trained all of these pups, even one of the border collies who was a rescue dog. I would walk them for 2 hours or more as they were super active, which is my favourite part as I love being out in nature and watching them just go crazy 😆 I am a self employed professional dancer and yoga teacher… so sitting perfectly fits into my schedule!! I have free time and flexibility most days during the week! I have a fenced garden which is locked and high, so super safe and clear from dogs running away and for kitties I’ll most probably keep them indoors unless stated by owners. Once I know where everything is in your house to look after your pet, everything will be dealt with ease and you should feel relaxed whilst away!

About: Have grown up with pets, from cats my parents had before I was born to always being a dog in the family home. I’ve always enjoyed walking them, playing with them and am very partial to a puppy cuddle. Have had somewhat of an animal shaped hole in my life but have recently been taking care of friends dogs for the odd weekend/ extended period and have been loving it so would welcome the opportunity to befriend some more of the dogs of Manchester! Flexible working arrangements so WFH the odd weekday but with notice can definitely do doggy day care provided I can nip out throughout the day (1.5 hours max). Also largely free in the evenings and happy to have your pets stay over when available. Mainly work from home Friday and free through to Sunday so very happy to puppy sit for weekends! I share an apartment with a fellow dog lover but no other pets in the house so no problem if your dog prefers not to be around other animals. Lift access to flat so no worries for short legged, stair averse friends.
