“First time using the app and Gemma was amazing. Accommodating and put my mind at ease whilst on holiday, keeping us updated of Hugo on the walks! Highly recommend!!”
“Grace was great with my old springer Stanley. I was out for the night and he needed looking after and letting out (as you can imagine at 14 he couldn’t be left on his own with no toilet break for over 6 hours). Grace did a great job of looking after my dog, I came back to find him fast asleep on her lap when I arrived back late. I would highly recommend as she is someone who can clearly form a bond with a dog and treat them like her own.”
About: Myself and my partner Oliver love looking after and caring for dogs. Family and friends regularly rely on us to look after their dogs for long periods of time. They trust us to walk them, feed them, bathe them and love them while they’re away! We both currently work from home and go into the office on different days, so one of us is always home and we are the perfect companions for your pets while you are busy working, on holiday or just out for the day. We live in a house with plenty of room for your pet to have a comfortable stay! We also have a decent sized, closed off, garden for your pets to enjoy themselves safely.
About: I have been caring for dogs of my own for a number of years as well as having 6 years experience in caring for other people's dogs. I have experience in walking, sitting, boarding, daycare services and drop-ins. I also have past voluntary experience at a dog kennel. I have provided dog walking services for external clients in the past whilst studying at college. I have specific experience in working with senior dogs and dogs with anxiety. I have a Level 2 Canine Health and Welfare qualification as well as a plethora of other animal-related qualifications including dog walking, canine nutrition and canine first aid. I also completed a certified Level 3 Canine Behaviour qualification in July 2023. Please message me if you have any questions and I'll be more than happy to answer. Please note I am currently only available to do house sitting from Friday evenings until Monday mornings due to work commitments on weekdays. I can provide care during the week also but only for dogs who are fine to be left for around 8 hours during the day. I always come to meet the dog(s) beforehand to get a feel for their personality and behaviour and to answer any questions you may have about the service I can provide.
“Mollie was great, she took Wilbur on a good long walk for me while I attended a birthday party. Very communicative and very much felt Wilbur was in safe hands. Would recommend.”
“Aaron is as an exceptional dog sitter, having known our working cocker spaniel since her puppy days and has earned a special place as one of her favorite humans! His knowledge of catering to the needs of different breeds shines through in the way he keeps her engaged during walks, offering an ideal mix of exercise and stimulation. Beyond that, Aaron gives her an abundance of cuddles and affection, creating a comforting "home away from home" experience whenever she's with him. He also provides lots of updates when he is with her which is incredibly reassuring - highly recommend!”
About: I was a cat foster for nearly 5 years before moving to the UK, I got into it wanting to help with stray cat problems in the neighbourhood I lived. Voluntarily conducted TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) project by myself, I tried to find suitable homes for friendly kittens/ cats and successfully did so for almost 30 cats. It wasn’t many as I had a full-time job in the meantime, I tried my best. After a couple years of TNR, I managed to control the amount of stray cats in the area, the cats in the region got to have their own territories. I took care of each stray one for a week after their operations before I returned them to where they got caught, no matter whether they were friendly or not as it was needed to make sure they’ll be okay when being returned to the wild. So I’ve got experience in dealing with mean cats, too, not an expert, but I know how to get along with them when needing to provide the care. I’ve got three cats of my own in Taiwan (Bob, Ding and Gēn) and my family’s got a dog (Lucky), I really miss them and miss hanging out with fuzzy pets, so I’d like to spread my love to other furrbabes! Overall, I have more experience in taking care of cats than dogs as I didn’t stay with my family, but basic care and dog walks are definitely without a problem! I’ll make sure to be attentive to the needs of your every little furrkid. Medication can be applied if needed as well, I’ve gained experience dealing with different types of pet health issues over the years, especially when I fostered stray cats. I’m currently a freelancer and on a job-hunt as well, so I have quite a flexible availability. I can do home visits any day, dog walking and pet sitting at clients’ homes. I’m happy to meet up prior to caring dates so that you and your furkid(s) get to know me better, if not, virtual calls can do too. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message. Daily provide of fresh water, food is a must as well as cat litter clean up. I’ll spend time patting/ grooming them or playing with them depends on what they need. Play time can be 10-15mins per round with short breaks for 2-3 rounds before their bed time, depending on how energetic the pets are. For dogs, either play time indoor with games like tug of war or outdoor walks. If treats are allowed, I’d love to train your pets to do simple tricks too like shaking hands. 😂 I think it’s a great way to bond with furry pets and also to keep them entertained. I regularly vacuum the place as well to make sure the environment is clean and tidy.

“Abi is a very caring and friendly caregiver. She has been excellent with my dog Winston. Last year I was having a very difficult finding a dog minder for my puppy. I met with Abi for the first time, and Winston Immidiately connected with her. I felt safe leaving my dog with her while I was away on holiday. She took him to the park and made sure he was safe on ever walk. Abi made sure I was reassured by sending me videos of things Winston was doing, and he was always clean and happy.”
