About: I was a cat person until I started dating my now husband who took me on dates to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary to volunteer to walk the dogs. It was there that I learned that dogs personalities were so different and vibrant! Shortly after moving in together we got our own dog, a cocker spaniel who we called Islay (said like Isla but spelt like the Scottish Island and whisky). I trained her from 8 weeks old, going to weekly classes, setting up agility courses at home, teaching her useless commands like flipping cushions over with her nose! We lost Islay in August 2025 at 12 years old. One day we will get another dog but I'm not quite ready yet and I am waiting to see what 2026 brings for my career. I decided to join Rover so that I could be close to animals again, I truly miss their company, and to provide local owners with a reliable and loving option for pet care. I work part-time hours and start later in the afternoon so I am home when most people are normally at work, which makes me perfect for a dog walker! I have a fenced garden and have many wonderful walks from my house including safe places to let dogs off the lead. I can drive to pet owners homes a couple of times a day to check up of the furry family members.

About: Hello I’m Rosie, I work from home and have two cats in my two bedroom property. We live right next to a dog friendly grass common near the centre of Rawtenstall. I have recently moved up from Lancashire and have found myself with extra time. I have half a decade of experience using this app looking after pets such as Labradors, Pugs, frenchies and even Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I hope to hear from you soon, and am very excited to meet your pets, Love Rosie I work from home, so I have alot of time to devote to your pets. Your dog will be with me at all times from adventures on the coast line of malpas to lazing infront of the fire or playing in the garden. My house offers space to allow your pet to access all rooms depending on where they feel comfortable. They are very welcome and will be treated with lots of attention, love and the occasional treat. Just as my dogs that have now passed your pet will be staying in my bedroom when I sleep whether it be in their crate provided or bed. However if you’re okay with them to sleep on a bed, I will not complain if they hop on. I know what dogs can be like haha :)

About: I am currently studying at university in my final year, however i would love to help anyone struggling with dog care. I am available pretty much everyday! I love looking after my dogs called Rocky and Mia so I would love to help out anyone struggling with theirs who maybe have to work and need some help! I am an early riser and walk many miles daily. About: Me and Amelia both grew up in households that had dogs for over 10 years, these included labradors and springer/border collie cross dogs. Also experience with cats as we have cared for family/friends members cats. We have a large enclosed garden to the rear of our house and a park only 3/4 minutes walk away too, perfect for a dog walk! Child and pet free home and at least one of us works from home every day so will be here with your pets! One of me and Amelia works at home everyday so will be present to look after your pets every day! We also walk regularly anyway so would be no trouble to walk your pets too! We have a child and pet free home that has space for multiple pets, we have a large enclosed garden to the rear and will give the upmost attention to your pets!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 12. I began by dog-sitting for my neighbours or family members, which eventually spread to many more people who had heard about me through word of mouth. 8 years on I am now a Student at Norwich University of the Arts, who is looking to take up her passion again whilst back home for the summer! About: I’ve cared for a wide range of animals over the years, from guinea pigs to cockatoos, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities and care needs. My own dog, Max, has been the biggest influence on my journey. He’s 10 now, and I truly can’t imagine life without him. Raising him has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and understanding a dog’s individual needs at every stage of life. Through Max and the many dogs he’s made friends with over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with socialization, basic training, and caring for both energetic pups and more senior dogs who need a gentler, attentive approach. About: I have had pets for my entire life, with a focus on dogs in particular. I love animals and am often asked to help friends with pet sitting, and recently spent time training my friends pet whilst pet sitting to go outside for wees. (NB: I am not a professional dog trainer). I grew up with spaniels and a cat. And later in life have had pugs, miniature pinschers, Heinz 57, Boston terrier, husky’s to name a few in my life! I also have experience caring for exotic animals such as Mantis, having had my own ghost and spiny flower mantis. Unfortunately I now live in a house that is too small to keep a dog happy, with no outside space so I am unable to have a dog of my own :( **the app is not great in terms of calendar and what I can do each day, if something is not marked as available please message me and I will do my best to accommodate you** I work from home during the week, and am usually only out for work on a Thursday. This means I have time during the week to complete dog walks, drop ins and stays with your loved ones! At times I may need to have my child with me if the house sit is for a few days. He is 9 years old and experienced and respectful with all animals and homes. I am happy to follow your usual feeding routines, and will do my best to make sure your pet is happy and feels loved. About: I have looked after dogs all my life , have had two springer spaniels and currently own a 4 year 8 month old golden retriever. I am retired and I’m normally at home all day and night. Unless walking my golden retriever Douglas. Your dog will be made very welcome at our home. I have an enclosed back garden , and plenty of local walks .My golden retriever would enjoy some more company on his walks too, he is a big softie and gets on well with other dogs.

About: I have been surrounded by every kind of dog since a very young age. I have taken care of numerous family, neighbours and friends dogs which include plenty of walks, playtime and feeding. My family has rescued our current dog who was unfortunately abused and bred to fight, luckily we got a hold of her before anything untoward happened. This taught me to be incredibly patient and kind working with her to gain her trust and now she’s the most loving and caring dog you’d ever meet. This has made me incredibly aware that unfortunately not every dog is blessed with a great start in life and I can understand why some dogs may be more timid or anxious than others, which is why I’d love a little chat beforehand to get to know more about your dog so I can really try cater to them and provide a calm and reassuring presence for them! I currently work part-time, but my hours are super flexible so I am confident we would be able to come up with a suitable time/ day that accommodates everyone. At the back of the house is a medium sized garden that is fenced off, allowing for a safe and playful environment for your dog !

About: Experience: I am a dog owner myself with 2 years worth of dog sitting experience. I have been looking after pets for 15 years. These include: cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters. If you need help with any of these, please message. I am a qualified dog first aider and I have had experience with dog training also. The home: I am in 3 bedroom house with a fenced off yard and access to lots of lovely walks near by. My golden retriever will most likely be around but he is lovely and gets on very well with all dogs. He has been neutered and is fully trained I work from home 3 days a week and I work in the office twice a week. I can choose which days I work in the office, so I can very easily fit my schedule around you. I also only need to be in the office from 10am-3pm. I have my own dog, so my schedule is already very dog friendly, being flexible and home orientated. Your pet can either stay in a room on their own or they are more than welcome to stay in a room with my dog and/or me. I can change my schedule to fit your pups schedule. I drive and I have extra of most things such as dog bowls, dog beds, toys etc but please bring your own in order to make the stay as comfortable for your pup as possible.

About: I have looked after dogs since I was 13 years old; walking, boarding and caring for. These were through my neighbours, friends and other companies. I thoroughly enjoy showing the dogs love and attention where their owners can’t and help the time pass better for them :) I am working 7 month contracts away with a period in between for rest so I have lots of free time out of my contract. There are many lovely parks around to take your fur babies and give them all the energy release they need. My garden is also fully enclosed with no other animals in the house to startle them.
