Leah has been wonderful with Scooby. I could tell when they initially met that she is a real dog person who will always put a dogs best interest first, and Scooby absolutely loved her so that was a great sign 😊 Thanks for taking such good care of him

I was very happy with the help from Christine walking Bobby while he stayed with my mom while I was away. Got lovely pics each day of his walks. Mom said Bobby was excited to see her each day. I would definitely ask for Christine's help again. Thanks again ❤️

About: Passionate about animals, especially cats and had cats since childhood, including Tennant, my current cat, named after a Doctor Who actor as I am a geek. In addition, done Animal Care Nursing assistant L2. Other hobbies are doing my freelance art work, gaming and going comic cons and geeky meet ups. Has recently got a DBS as helps out at a local Cub Scout group. I have had a dog previously for 5 years but due to my living situation, unable to get a dog. I am able to pick up their poo, give them play, give them adequate walks, administer meds and even bathe them. Best result is to give me instructions on paper. No current employment, other than freelance artist and volunteering with Cubs. Has a cat of my own. Able most days but would prefer to book in week advance. I sadly can’t let dogs and other animals stay at my place due to my tenant’s agreement. The safety I need to raise is, I can definitely accommodate for those with additional needs, including neurodivergence (autism, ADHD) and I am neurodivergent myself. Will ask you questions about the health and safety for best outcome for your pet and myself.

About: ***PLEASE READ: I also offer pet care services for small animals such as rats, hamsters, rabbits etc at a cost of £10 per enclosure. (E.g if there's several animals per enclosure it'll be a flat rate for all combined.). Free roam animals are also included in the flat rate. ***Please ensure any dogs coming to my home are up to date on any flea/worm treatments and vaccines.*** Hey there! My name is Holly and I live locally in Radcliffe with my mum who also love animals. I'm a huge animal lover, who adores all furry creatures. I've always felt an affinity with animals ever since I was a child and I have had lifelong experience with my own pets. I have also volunteered at a doggy daycare so I have plenty of experience. I have been doing Rover for three years, and pet sitting long before Rover existed. Our own dog Lucy sadly passed away in 2017 and we haven't had the pleasure of having our own baby since, so we like to put all that love and care into looking after other people's companions. I am experienced with senior dogs/cats and can administer medication if need be, as our poor girl needed a lot of care in her old age. I am also fully insured and covered for things such as accidents, illness, injuries and property/possession damage. I am passionate about animals and my love for them means I will do my utmost to ensure your fur baby is always in the best hands. I strive to consistently go above and beyond for you and your loyal companion and always treat your pets as though they were my own, which means lots of cuddles, treats and love. I understand the importance of trust and security and can assure you that your fur babies are in the best hands. If necessary, I can provide enrichment activities for anxious dogs, we have licky mats, and I can on request provide extra things if necessary, all designed to soothe an anxious dog. We also have plenty of toys and blankets for your dogs comfort. It'll be their home away from home! All dog related paraphernalia are thourgougly cleaned and disinfected daily. I live in a house with a fenced garden, so your dogs can have a potter whenever they want in a safe and secure environment, and live close to many beautiful walking areas and woodland which I'm sure the doggies will love and enjoy. They will be on their own little holiday! I am at home mostly all the time and I can therefore offer a lot of flexibility if necessary. I am available 7 days a week, but please ensure sufficient availability as sometimes the rover calendar doesn't reflect this due to glitches. My daycare hours for doggy daycare are 8:30am-6:30pm If you have read this far thank you! I appreciate your time. I hope to hear from you and your fur baby! As I work from home, I'm adaptable and therefore offer several services including house sitting/drop-ins for all kinds of species, walks and doggy daycare too. Whether I'm house sitting or boarding your pets at my own home, I will ensure to do whatever is necessary to maintain your pet's routine, including any medication, dietary requirements, emotional or physical triggers, sleeping arrangements, toilet needs, etc. My absolute favourite thing is drop ins, as I can then care for your babies in their home environment, and knowing I'm making a difference to their day is so rewarding! Whether it's dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters or even less conventional animals please get in touch and we can discuss your specific care needs. Our house is secure and we have a garden which is fenced. We do allow dogs on all furniture as I see them as part of the family. I am also willing to use a crate if that's what your dog would prefer but I'm more than happy to snuggle up with them. When I do drop ins and house sits, I will wholly respect your home and space and leave it exactly how I found it, and ensure to follow any and all care planes outlined by you so you can enjoy your time away stress free. I can also water your plants if need be or any other odds and ends that may need attending to whilst you are gone.

About: Hi! I'm Toni, I'm 27, and like many others here I'm known for my love of animals. I have a lot of personal experience with caring for animals - we've always had animals in our household ever since I was a baby, and I'm often called upon to see to my neighbour's ever-expanding fur family when she's away. I have a nine year old Alsatian named Marshall and three adorable cats called Kevin (5), Keith (5) and Crystal (17). All my fur babies are full of life, energetic and love to keep me on my toes. Caring for them is an absolute blessing and it has encouraged me to start working towards a career in animal care. I'm a part-time bartender, but work flexible hours and days so can be completely flexible and will accommodate yours and your fur baby's needs as much as possible. I'm more than happy to keep you updated and send regular pictures! I know how difficult it can be being away from them! I work part-time in a local pub and my hours range from mid-day to evening to late night shifts. My hours and days can be flexible, so I can be fully flexible to suit your needs. I will accommodate any requests for caring for your baby within your home. All rules and regulations will be followed to ensure your fur baby gets the best support and care.

About: Your pets will get extra training, loads of playtime, cuddles and they'll come back more relaxed and happier than ever before. I'm ND, I understand animals and am more myself with them than people. Your pet will get all the love it could possibly get. Most of my weekly activities are flexible, I spend a lot of time outdoors usually with my dog. I'm not a fan of leaving my pet alone for too long. Luna usually goes on 2 main walks a day and inbetween short ones if I can. I have a fully enclosed back yard, with enough space to play, this makes up for my small house. There are plenty of parks and trails nearby too.

About: Hi, I’m Abbie! My partner and I have a 13yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I have grown up around dogs my whole life- so I am comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments (and absolutely adore them all). My experience: •I was a dog walker in Spain for over a year and volunteered at animal shelters working with cats and dogs • I did work experience at a doggy daycare in Bury • I hold a City & Guilds Lvl 2 Certificate of Competence in Dog Walking and Technical Certificate in Animal Care, Lvl 3 Technical Diploma in Animal Management, just completed my HND in Animal Behaviour, and I am currently doing my top up into a BsC in Wildlife Conservation and Zoo Science while I also volunteer at a wildlife rescue! This should give an idea of just how much animals are a big part of my life, and their wellbeing is my priority- your pet will be in great hands with me :) I have just gotten back on Rover. As I am a uni student, I work part-time, and have a dog of my own it is hard to give a definite list of available days and times, but if you message me to have a proper discussion then I will try to work around you and your schedule the best I can! :) I will not be offering dog sitting in my own home (due to having a reactive dog). However, I will happily do drop in visits to your home.

About: My experience comes from having a German Shepherd and Rescue Newfoundland at Home watching my mum raise them from puppies. I have learnt and adapted the skills from her, enabling me to look after and cherish every single dog. I am currently at university away from home. At home, my dogs are a big part of my family routine from the morning to the evening even during my college and work days. From being fed, walked, brushed, played with. When my mum wasn’t there to look after them. It was my main priority. Pets thrive in their own environment when they are comfortable, they are going to miss their owners quite a fair bit. I usually just try to play with them, keep them company as always

About: A loving family home with years of pet care experience, I have two lovely children who will make your pets feel at home. Also nice garden and plenty of walking routes nearby I can easily fit dog sitting into my routine because of my flexible work schedule and the fact that my partner works from home full-time. I work at the airport on a rotating 5 days on, 3 days off schedule, with shifts from either 4:30 am–1:30 pm or 12:30 pm–9:30 pm. This means I’m always home early in the day or have the whole morning free, giving me plenty of time to care for a dog. On top of that, my partner is always home during the day, so the dog would never be left unattended. Between my early finishes, days off, and our consistent presence at home, we can provide a reliable, structured, and loving environment for a dog. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love being around them. Having a dog’s company in my home is something I truly enjoy, and I believe it’s a much more comfortable and reassuring option than kennels. My home has a large, secure back garden where dogs can happily roam in and out as they please, and I’m also perfectly placed for walks—living right across from a park and just five minutes from Heaton Park. With so much space and plenty of opportunity for exercise, dogs in my care are guaranteed both comfort and adventure.
