About: As an AuDHD person, like many other neurodivergent people, I connect with animals very easily and love to spend time around them. I was born into a house that already had a cat so I have been around animals of one kind or another since day dot. Over the years my family have had cats, hamsters, rabbits, and a dog. While living with friends I’ve helped take care of small reptiles too. Since having my own place I’ve had cats and rabbits. I currently have 2 cats who I love with all my heart. I take care of a friend’s dog, a 6-year-old cockapoo with the energy of a puppy called Cooper, semi-regularly & help an elderly woman down the road with her dog walks now she can’t go as far as she once could. Since I work from home and have no children, your pets will have all the company & attention they could ask for with me! I own my own small business, work from home and don’t have any children so I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This also means that I can continue to work from your home if necessary so your pet will have all the company they could wish for! While I’m taking care of your pet I am also taking care of your home. Your place will of course stay clean and tidy and I’m happy to get on top of anything you need doing while I’m there if you would like me to. Even if I am only stopping in rather than staying to take care of your pet, your home is their home too so it will be looked after just as well as they will be!

About: Hi! I'm Toni, I'm 28, and like many others here I'm known for my love of animals. I have a lot of personal experience with caring for animals - we've always had animals in our household ever since I was a baby, and I'm often called upon to see to my neighbour's ever-expanding fur family when she's away. I have a ten year old Alsatian named Marshall and three adorable cats called Kevin (6), Keith (6) and Crystal (18). All my fur babies are full of life, energetic and love to keep me on my toes. Caring for them is an absolute blessing and it has encouraged me to start working towards a career in animal care. I'm a full-time support worker, but work flexible hours and days, and also complete my work alongside my business partner Brian, so between the two of us we can be completely flexible and will accommodate yours and your fur baby's needs as much as possible. I'm more than happy to keep you updated and send regular pictures! I know how difficult it can be being away from them! I work shifts as a support worker, however I also work alongside my business partner, Brian, so between the two of us we can be completely flexible for your needs. I will accommodate any requests for caring for your pet within your home. All rules and regulations will be followed to ensure your pet gets the best support and care.

About: Since 2018 myself and my family opened our home to dog sitting. I have done long and short stays including just for the day as well as dog walking too. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule, which allows me to balance time between home and the office. On days I work from home, I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including walks, feeding, and companionship. My schedule also allows me to plan ahead, so I can commit to regular visits or stays and ensure pets get consistent, reliable care during the week and on weekends. I provide care in the pet owner’s home, where pets feel most comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and a calm, safe atmosphere while maintaining the home respectfully. I’m also attentive to any changes in behaviour or health and will keep owners updated regularly for peace of mind. I also have experience handling a variety of dogs on the lead and am confident managing different behaviours during walks. I understand how to approach situations where a dog may feel nervous or unsure, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety while helping them feel at ease.

About: I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats my whole life, so being around animals has always just been part of me. My family have always had dogs, big and small, so I’m really comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also grown up with cats, including different breeds, so I understand how varied their needs and temperaments can be too. Alongside my own pets, and families pets, I’ve also done dog and cat sitting for a family friend, which included giving insulin injections to their diabetic dog and caring for their senior cat. That experience really built my confidence in handling more complex needs, and showed me how important it is to be calm, patient, and attentive when animals rely on you. For me, it’s never just about “pet sitting”. I know they’re your baby, and making sure they feel safe, settled, and properly cared for while you’re away is my priority. Whether it’s sticking to routines, giving medication, going on walks, or just spending time with them so they feel comfortable, I’ll treat them with the same level of care and attention I give in my job and to my own pets, so you can feel completely at ease knowing they’re in safe hands. i currently work in a children’s home so i am available before and after work, also available at the weekends to give your babies lots of love and care. I am unable to offer having pets in my home due to having pets of my own however, i am flexible and willing to cater to yours and your pets routine in their home.

About: I I have 40 years of experience with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I love the outdoors and nature and can guarantee your dog will fully enjoy themselves on walks with me! I have a large pet crate and steps for easy travelling. I work part time from home with flexible hours selling vintage clothing. So I have lots of time to get out there walking. Short notice bookings most welcome. I can ensure your pet is fully taken care of to the schedule and requirements you need. I have dog crates, blankets and seat belts in the car. I carry a collapsible water bowl and water for your dog, doggy bags are also supplied.

About: I’ve always been around dogs, either having my own, family pets or my spare time volunteering at a dog shelter. For the last 2 years, I’ve spent every Saturday cleaning kennels and walking dogs for Cheshire Dogs Home. This means I am well skilled in dealing with tricky dogs too. I now have adopted two cocker spaniels (mum and daughter) from Cheshire Dogs Home that I live alone with. I predominantly work from home and would ensure that I did when I had your dog. My girls absolutely love other dogs and always want to play with them. They love going out for long walks, I live near a country park which is very convenient. I would love to help others out in the hopes of building my own support network too. I work full time from home but this allows me to adapt to a dogs needs as it’s flexible. I currently wake between 6-7am every day with mine and will take them out if it’s hot or will work downstairs (or upstairs in my office where they are welcome) until taking them out at midday if the weather is normal. After work, we relax and have cuddles on the settee as well as a few games to challenge the spaniel brain I have a fenced garden and two girls that absolutely love other dogs and would love yours. They have free roam of downstairs and the garden at all time with supervised access to my office upstairs.

I have been doing Rover for three years, and pet sitting long before Rover existed. Our own dog Lucy sadly passed away in 2017 and we haven't had the pleasure of having our own baby since, so we like to put all that love and care into looking after other people's companions. I am experienced with senior dogs/cats and can administer medication if need be, as our poor girl needed a lot of care in her old age. I am also fully insured and covered for things such as accidents, illness, injuries and property/possession damage. I am passionate about animals and my love for them means I will do my utmost to ensure your fur baby is always in the best hands. I strive to consistently go above and beyond for you and your loyal companion and always treat your pets as though they were my own, which means lots of cuddles, treats and love. I understand the importance of trust and security and can assure you that your fur babies are in the best hands. If necessary, I can provide enrichment activities for anxious dogs, we have licky mats, and I can on request provide extra things if necessary, all designed to soothe an anxious dog. We also have plenty of toys and blankets for your dogs comfort. It'll be their home away from home! All dog related paraphernalia are thourgougly cleaned and disinfected daily. I live in a house with a fenced garden, so your dogs can have a potter whenever they want in a safe and secure environment, and live close to many beautiful walking areas and woodland which I'm sure the doggies will love and enjoy. They will be on their own little holiday! I am at home mostly all the time and I can therefore offer a lot of flexibility if necessary. I am available 7 days a week, but please ensure sufficient availability as sometimes the rover calendar doesn't reflect this due to glitches. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life They are a family member. Bluey, Lucky, Butch, Smokey and now Kyla. I love walking the nature trail and bury bolton canal. I try to always take more poo bags than i need and always put em in the bins. I am looking for this as my main source of income as a part time job i should be available 16 hours a week. To walk along thr canal and nature trail I have a flat with 4 rooms. The dog can wonder in and out of all the rooms. I normally go for a local walk on the nature trail or canal

About: I have been around animals all my life and at times prefer their company to humans! This love led me to work in positions such as Helen’s house of hope (Bulgaria) - Walking, training, feeding, cleaning and showing love to abandoned dogs. I was brought up with springer spaniels and currently have a deerhound in the family… High energy dogs don’t scare me! I hold personal experience with cats and kitten care. After spending a year in India, I am back for a few months before the big move to New Zealand. I won’t be returning to my work as a full time gardener meaning I am available for pet care. The first thing that is making sure you and your pet are comfortable. Keeping similar routines and schedules to cause minimal stress. It takes time to gain trust both with people and animals - we are not so different! I give space and time for that whatever it may look like.

About: A loving family home with years of pet care experience, I have two lovely children who will make your pets feel at home. Also nice garden and plenty of walking routes nearby I can easily fit dog sitting into my routine because of my flexible work schedule and the fact that my partner works from home full-time. I work at the airport on a rotating 5 days on, 3 days off schedule, with shifts from either 4:30 am–1:30 pm or 12:30 pm–9:30 pm. This means I’m always home early in the day or have the whole morning free, giving me plenty of time to care for a dog. On top of that, my partner is always home during the day, so the dog would never be left unattended. Between my early finishes, days off, and our consistent presence at home, we can provide a reliable, structured, and loving environment for a dog. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love being around them. Having a dog’s company in my home is something I truly enjoy, and I believe it’s a much more comfortable and reassuring option than kennels. My home has a large, secure back garden where dogs can happily roam in and out as they please, and I’m also perfectly placed for walks—living right across from a park and just five minutes from Heaton Park. With so much space and plenty of opportunity for exercise, dogs in my care are guaranteed both comfort and adventure.
