About: I have several years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I had my own dog, a poodle, which taught me the responsibilities of daily pet care such as feeding, walking, grooming, and giving them the attention and exercise they need. Currently, I have two cats at home, so I am very familiar with their routines, including feeding, litter box cleaning, grooming, and playtime. Caring for my own pets has helped me understand how important patience, consistency, and a calm environment are for animals. In addition, I have experience looking after cats and dogs through another pet-sitting app, where I provided reliable care through drop-in visits and walks. I always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my current routine as I am currently taking a career break, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to be available throughout the day for drop-in visits and dog walks, ensuring pets receive the attention, care, and consistency they need. With the extra time in my schedule, I am able to plan visits carefully and make sure each pet is looked after properly without rushing. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for every pet I care for. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are in reliable and responsible hands. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking services, ensuring pets receive proper care, attention, and companionship while their owners are away. I do not provide boarding services. I also have prior experience caring for both cats and dogs through another pet-sitting app, which has helped me build strong skills in understanding different pet personalities and maintaining their routines in a comfortable and secure environment.

“Olivia was wonderful with our two dogs! One in particular takes some time to warm up to new people, so it was wonderful seeing her so comfortable with Olivia. Thank you so much for your help and the doggies can’t wait to see you again!”

About: I have over 7 years’ professional experience caring for dogs and cats etc. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages, from puppies to 18-year-old seniors, including rescues and breeds such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, Jack Russells, Yorkshire Terriers and Bavarian Mountain Hounds. I’ve cared for dogs through walks, toilet breaks, house stays and overnight care, as well as looking after four cats twice daily. I’m comfortable working from home more often when needed, so I can provide plenty of company, attention and regular toilet breaks. References are available on request. I work four weekdays a week and am an early riser, with flexibility to take breaks throughout the day. I mainly work from home and can work remotely more often when needed. My weekends are flexible, and I have plenty of time for walks, play and companionship. I also love being outdoors and exploring local parks and the canal. I’m experienced, patient, reliable and professional, while always providing warm, caring attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, including rescues, and I’m happy to adapt to your preferred routine and approach. I have access to a large, secure garden in my building, with plenty of parks and walking routes nearby. I don’t currently have pets, and my partner is also an experienced, friendly pet sitter and walker, so your pet will be in a calm, safe and caring environment with us.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs, so having animals around has always felt very natural to me. I love having dogs around, making sure they’re happy, comfortable and well looked after. I work flexibly from home, so I’m able to give pups plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also happy to work around their usual routine - whether that means a good long walk (there's a lovely park down the road from me), plenty of playtime, or a slower day with naps and cuddles. I only take one pet owner at a time, so your pup gets plenty of one-to-one attention rather than being part of a busy household. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, so you know they’re happy and settled. Every dog is different, so I like to get to know their personality, routine and what they enjoy. If you’d like to meet beforehand, I’m more than happy to arrange that too. My work is very flexible, so I spend a lot of time at home - meaning I can give pets allll the love and care❣️ Happy to work around their routine, making sure they get all the walks, toilet breaks, playtime and chill-time that they're used to. It's just me at home, so it's a very calm, quiet environment. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly flat with communal outdoor space. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home on the furniture if they want to! Peel Park is just down the road, which is a great spot for walkieees! Happy to stick to your dog's routine as much as possible.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by pets and have looked after family and friends’ pets while they’re away on holiday, working, or simply in need of a break. I’m a bit of a pet whisperer and can usually tell what they need in an instant (some might say I can speak to them!). All jokes aside, I’ll make sure your pets have a safe, comfortable and happy space where their individual needs are always catered for. Up and out for a morning walk and toilet break to start the day. We’ll have a little run in the park or play fetch with a ball before heading home for breakfast while I work from home. At lunchtime, we’ll head out for another quick walk, giving us a chance to stretch our legs and have another toilet break. Later in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a longer walk home, taking in the scenery and, most importantly, getting lots of good sniffs in! Back home, we’ll settle in and finish the working day before having dinner together and getting ready for our final and longest walk of the day, depending on your dog’s size, age and needs. I live in a safe and secure flat, with any potential hazards or obstructions kept safely out of reach. Pets will have regular toilet breaks and plenty of opportunities to get outside. There are several parks nearby where they can enjoy walks, explore and have a toilet break. If they’re comfortable socialising with other animals, there will also be opportunities to meet and interact with other pets along the way.

About: Hello! I’m Phoebe. I grew up in a household filled with small animals and have over 17+ years of experience caring for a wide range of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, parrots, lizards, hamsters, fish, and turtles. I’ve had the joy of looking after all sorts of animals. With hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, I understand their individual needs and how to help them feel safe, loved, and relaxed. I’m experienced with shy or nervous pets and always take a gentle, patient approach to help them settle in at their own pace. I’m also happy to help with training young pets and caring for senior pets. If this is your first booking on Rover, feel free to use my link for £15 off: https://www.rover.com/sit/phoeby81501 As a freelancer, I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible with visit times to suit your pet’s routine and needs. I carefully plan my schedule so pets are never left for long periods, and each visit is relaxed and not rushed. I provide calm and attentive care in your home, making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment while also monitoring their overall wellbeing. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, administering medication if needed, and giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates with photos and videos.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals of all different needs since I can remember, growing up I had three dogs, two of which were rescues, one was a very nervous rescue from Korea, and another eventually became reactive over time due to old age and varying underlying medical conditions, I believe this highlights me as being well equipped for animals that have certain needs and boundaries other sitters may not be able to cater towards. I have also done multiple gigs for pet sitting for family friends, including indoor kittens and outdoor elderly cats. So while only having dogs growing up, I also have enough experience minding cats. I have two part time casual retail jobs, so while I am working away from home, I can still work around you! I always have gaps throughout my week, and I’d be happy to fill them caring for your fur baby! I always update my calendar around when I know I’m working, so you don’t have to worry about it! if I am working for whatever reason, I’ll still be able to find time to look after your pet. I’m a big walker, so I am happy to walk up and down Manchester to look after your fur baby! If your pet needs more attention, I’m more than happy to dedicate a couple hours of my day to sit, play, and keep them company so that they can settle before you come home! I can be as flexible as possible, with the exception around my work, but I’m happy to pop in before or after a shift to ensure the best for your pet and you. I’ve always grown up around animals, and I adore them, so expect to receive a lot of photos and updates of your pet every time I pay them a visit. I also have owned two rescue dogs, three dogs in total, and all three had their own set of needs, one was a nervous rescue, another a clingy rescue who acted like my little shadow, and the other had occasional reactive behaviours, so I’m well adapted to learning and respecting your pets boundaries and behaviours.
About: I am very affectionate with fur babies, but also respect them when they want their space. I know that walks are their time, so I let them sniff or socialise for as long as they need. I have volunteered at animal shelters and been a foster parent, so I can handle different energy levels and personalities. I just finished classes for my Master's program and will start working on my dissertation, which I can do from my laptop, so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur babies :) I work from home which I can do from anywhere with my laptop. I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies while you're away :) My fur baby was very energetic as a puppy, so I tend to be cautious about any dog's surroundings. I check that there are no things they can chew or eat that could harm them and that the space where they run and play is fenced or far away from vehicles and bicycles.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a young child. Growing up in the countryside. I’ve been surrounded by pets for basically all my life. I’ve had the joy of raising dogs and cats as part of my family. My first two dogs (Trixie and Rocky) were cocker spaniels. We now have the amazing Bobby in our lives, who is a 9-year old Golden Retriever, who lives with my parents. On top of my love for pets, I also love going on long walks. You can be assured that your pet will be loved for and exercised appropriately by me. I’m a freelance violinist for the most, but I do work part-time on most weekends. During the week, I spend my days working on my self-employed work. This is mainly me working from home, where I practice my instrument for upcoming concerts. Your pet will receive a calming experience of live classical music from me! I can look after your pet in your place or my place. Whichever suits best for you, me and your pet. I live in the city centre and I am very close to Peel Park- which is a great place for exercising your fury friend.
About: I currently work a flexible e-commerce job from home alongside a part-time restaurant role. Because of this, I have a very adaptable schedule and can provide care throughout the day, I have a safe and clean home environment and always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely and introduce them to new environments slowly if needed. I keep everything clean, secure, and stress-free, and I’m experienced with handling different temperaments, including anxious and senior pets.
“Hannah was brilliantly and very friendly. She met both myself and my pup before we scheduled a walk so that she could familiarise herself with Aspen. She was very attentive to Aspen's needs and made sure she used the same command words that we use. Hannah was really flexible about timings as I had to change our time last minute. Hannah came and picked Aspen up and dropped him home after. She was due to be gone for 30mins but took him for slightly longer which was so helpful. I would definitely use Hannah again and would 100% recommend her to my friends!”

“Robert and our standard schnauzer Oscar seem to be developing a great relationship since he started walking him. Oscar is so excited when he comes round to collect him that I struggle to put his lead on him. Always punctual and with a smile on his face even when it’s raining, I can highly recommend Robert and so can Oscar! Loving all the photos from the walk too…”

“Emma is a great carer. We've worked together on Carbee's regular weekly walkie and she also stayed in our flat to look after Carbee while we are away for weekend. Emma has been very trustable, patient and with great communication! Definitely recommend her services”

About: I’ve had 4 different dog breeds and taken full responsibility and care of them since a young age. I then enhanced this experience through Rover, building repeat clients and visitors. I love all animals so it would be perfect to have a furry friend whilst also being able help you out with pet care ☺️ I’m always taking pictures and capturing the moment so you can expect regular updates with lots of pictures of the activities we do 📸🐾. . I used rover whilst studying at university in Bristol and have recently moved to Manchester, wishing to continue rover alongside my main job. Currently I’m not fully flexible with my main job, but I would like to get back to rover as my main job once building a client base in Manchester! I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable and settled in their environment. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication if needed and any specific instructions from their owner. Dog owners share their Rover experiences – Manchester
Whisky was delighted to hang out with Dulcie and Wilf each time. They were flexible and communicative in arranging schedules. They picked up on Whisky's needs and made sure he had fun. He now makes a beeline for their place whenever we go for a walk. Would trust and recommend.

Zara was fantastic! She is very responsive to messages and sent lots of photos after. My partner was so worried about leaving our dog with a stranger but he was in such good hands. There is nothing 'cookie-cutter' about her approach - she asked about my dogs needs and made him comfortable. Highly recommend!

Eve is just fab as always, took on a very last minute booking and was such a help and very flexible. Riley seems to really warm to her and I always get amazing full updates and pictures of their walk. So lovely to know he's in such good hands and she even said hello to the cat too whilst we were out. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting, Zaynah who has recently started her dog walking service in the M14 area , and I couldn't be more impressed. We arranged a meet and greet for my 10-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ruben. As an older dog, Ruben is very set in his ways and can be quite stubborn at times. However, the moment he met Zaynah, his tail was wagging and he immediately wanted lots of cuddles, which spoke volumes to me. Zaynah took the time to ask plenty of questions about Ruben, including his likes and dislikes, any medication he takes, how he interacts with other dogs, whether he enjoys playing games, and if he can be trusted off the lead. Her thorough approach and genuine interest in understanding Ruben's needs immediately put my mind at ease. We then arranged for Zaynah to take Ruben out for a walk. As they were still getting to know each other, Ruben did give her a bit of a run-around, but she handled it with patience, kindness, and good humour throughout. Zahan is a charming, confident, reliable, and trustworthy young lady who clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for someone special to care for and walk their fur babies. Knowing Ruben is in such capable hands gives me complete peace of mind.
