Hello, I am Elcin! I grew up in a home where caring for animals was a natural part of everyday life. From a young age, I looked after pets such as rabbits, turtles, and fish, which helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and a deep love for animals. When I was old enough to take on the responsibility of a cat, I adopted my own, and now I have two cats. I have been caring for both of them since they were kittens, including their litter training and daily routines. My two cats are currently in Turkey, and I don’t have any pets with me in the UK at the moment. This means I can fully dedicate my time, attention, and energy to the pet I am sitting for, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after. I have also looked after a friend’s dog while they were away, which gave me experience with dog care as well. This has helped me become confident in caring for different types of pets and adapting to their individual needs.

I used to leave my cat with Elcin whenever I traveled because I couldn’t leave my cat alone at home due to incontinence issues. She took care of my cat very attentively and was incredibly caring, spending time playing with and giving affection to my cat. Since she has had cats herself for many years, she is very experienced in cat care and has a natural connection with animals. Whenever I leave my cat with her, I have complete peace of mind.

I am writing to provide a reference for my sibling, Elçin Kahraman, who has applied for a dog sitting position. For the past nine years, we have been jointly caring for our two cats. Schedule
I’m a PhD student and I mostly work remotely, so I spend a lot of time at home. That means I can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so it never feels like a task to me

I carefully follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, behavioural routines, and any medical requirements, ensuring consistency and trust. I live in a secure residence with access to a fenced garden, offering a controlled and safe outdoor space when appropriate. My home is kept clean, quiet, and fully pet-friendly, minimising any potential risks.
