About: From an early age was surrounded by dogs, cats, horses and little furries! Absolutely love all animals and spending time getting to know their little personalities is a treat. Confident with small to large dogs, and cats, including pets who need a little more understanding and special care due to reactivity or nervous. I have helped with an array of friends and neighbours with cat sitting/holiday feeding and dog walks/sitting for over 7 years and recently enrolled on a Canine First Aid course. Bodza the 5yo Staffy cross who lives with me is a medium/large dog with a lot of energy so I'm used to having my hands full. For this reason I am only able to offer dog walks (without her) and drop ins. Training I have undertaken with my dog, Bodza: - General group obedience including loose lead walking, general commands, and recall - Scent training with UK Sniffer Dogs - Dog reactivity - 121 training to improve on all of the above Please let me know any specific needs, or preferences, to make your pet's experience exactly what they need and enjoy the most 🐾 I predominantly work from home during the week so will be available various times from morning through to evening, and I am also available some weekends. I will care for your pet as if my own with care, love and attention, however I am also aware that they each come with different needs, so please do share as much information as you like about their routine, preferences, and boundaries. I promise to follow your requirements closely, and provide a report back.

About: Hi, I’m Chloe! I have been around dogs and my family dog for 15 years. I’ve actively helped train a puppy and also cared for my senior dog, so I’m comfortable with different ages and needs. I’m patient, caring, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I’m happy to adjust to what your dog needs. Wether that’s relaxing at home, sticking to their routine, or getting out for walks and fresh air. Your dog will be treated like one of our own while they’re with me. I work in the office Monday–Friday, so I’m available in the evenings on weekdays. On weekends, I am fully available to care for dogs. Wether that be energetic and lots of exercise or relaxing on the sofa I have a gated garden with grass, a park just down the road, and space for a crate in our home. I don’t have a dog of my own, so dogs with behavioural issues around other dogs aren’t a problem. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority.

About: Growing up with multiple dogs at home, I am experienced with various breeds, large dogs, young puppies and teenagers. I am happy practising the tricks and training you do with your pup, going on long walks, or providing other care as per your pet's needs. I am currently taking a break from full-time work, and have full availability to spend time with canine friends - our dog Crumble will also enjoy the company of another friendly dog. We have our Crumble, a 1 year old friendly golden retriever, so our home is ONLY suitable for dogs who are comfortable with another dog. There are facilities to separate dogs if they need a break from playing or are overstimulated, as we have baby gates at every floor, and the dogs are continuously supervised to ensure they are comfortable and happy. We have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, blankets to make your pet as comfortable in our home as our own. Our garden is enclosed securely and away from the street, so your pet can play outside safely or do toilet business as much as needed. We are ok adapting to your dog's schedule, there are 2 lovely parks within a short walk of our home and we would be typically walking your dog with our Crumble, or if neccessary, separately.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since my university days, looking after a Great British Bulldog, a Coton de Tuléar, and several Welsh Collies. These very different breeds taught me how to handle strong, stubborn personalities, gentle companion dogs, and intelligent working breeds with high energy. I’m confident with a wide range of temperaments and always adapt my approach to what each dog needs to feel safe, calm, and happy. I currently have full availability and can be flexible around your pet’s routine. Whether you need early‑morning walks, daytime drop‑ins, or evening care, I’m able to fit around your schedule. I’m also available at short notice and happy to discuss regular bookings or one‑off visits depending on what works best for you and your pet. I focus on keeping their routine exactly as you’ve set it. I follow feeding times, walk schedules, and any training you’re working on, and I make sure your pet feels calm and secure in their familiar environment.

About: As a part time kennel hand I walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to dogs! I have a small garden ideal for puppies and elderly dogs as well as a local park for the more active ones. Dogs will not be allowed off lead on walks however I do often take long scenic walks (2hrs+) and would be happy to have your pup with me if they are up for the challenge. There will always be a person home with your pet and I can promise a minimum of 3 let outs/walks a day (individual needs can be discussed.) They will have plenty of play time and my sofa is their sofa. I have a fenced garden and a room your pet can have to themselves if they would like a place to hide (I'm looking at you cat owners.) Lots of toys are about and I can accommodate a crate if your pet is accustomed to sleeping in one.

Peter has been great with my boy, he’s got a calm & gentle nature and is keen to understand my dog & our training techniques so that the dog has consistent commands. My boy can be quite nervous with strangers, but seems to trust Peter immediately, cuddling up during the meet & greet, not barking when he arrives & happily walking off with him for his walk (providing it’s not raining, he’s a fair weather pup). He’s happy when he returns… & then sleeps! Perfect!

About: Dogs have been in my family since I was born. As such, I have a knack for being playful yet can apply firm instruction when needed. I have a calm disposition and feel that dogs can sense this and respond well to it. I am here to give your pet the care and attention they diserve, meaning walks and play but also creating a relaxing atmosphere and cuddles too. I run my own business out of my home and so can work pet care vary easily into my routine and am very flexible. I have a car and so distance isn't an issue either. I am always the first to dog/cat sit for friends when they're away. I have a mix of toys and treats that I bring with me every time I take care of a pet but if they have a favourite toy, the better. I take my time, treating every pet as an individual and every sit seriously. I look forward to getting to know each animal and their personality every time I sit for one.

Erin took my dog Lilith for daily walks and she was incredibly punctual and gave her exactly what she needed, Lilith is a staffy/boxer and is still in the process of learning and Erin took great care of her and helped walk her perfectly, she took all of my advice and was respectful to the process which we are implementing with our dog and put them into her walks. Erin was also incredibly well mannered and respectful through the messages and was also quick to reply, she also kept me up to date with my dog during the day with photos which was incredibly nice, I could not recommended Erin any more, she was perfect and if you are looking for any services I would highly recommend her.

About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

Amy looked after our dog while our regular walker was on holiday, and she was amazing! She was reliable, warm, and clearly experienced with dogs. Our pup adored her and came back from each walk happy and tired. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe, caring hands. We’d happily book Amy again—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy walker!

About: I don’t just watch dogs—I care for them the way I’d want someone to care for my own. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routines, and little quirks, because I know that’s what makes them feel safe and happy when you’re away. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or calm and cuddly, I adjust my care to match them—not the other way around. Walks are never rushed, playtime is intentional, and downtime is calm and comforting. I’m big on clear communication too, so you’ll always get updates and photos that show your dog is relaxed, loved, and having a great time. I’m currently at university so I wouldn’t be available on Tuesdays or Fridays that includes Monday night and Thursday night if it’s an overnight stay however I am available any other days or times I always want to make sure your pets feel safe and secure and it’s my job to do so. Your fluffy friends will have the best time with me and will be safe and sound

About: Since I was a teenager I've been taking care of my grandparents cocker spaniel Alfie for up to a week at at time, and some weekends. Recently I've bought a house and now have a 9 month old puppy of my own called Enzo. Raising him has given me experience with puppies, as well as the knowledge I had from caring for Alfie. Between the two of them they've thrown every hurdle at me so I feel well prepared to look after your dog too. It can be difficult organising last minute care, which is why I offer same-day requests and more than happy to pick up if needed. I'm available for boarding most weekends as we are in with our own pup anyway. As I work from home on Fridays and Mondays I can look after your pup both Friday and Sunday night so that's no worry. We have a large fenced garden (which Enzo loves sniffing around) and I have a spare dog crate in case your dog needs crating overnight and you have forgotten one. Enzo is crate trained but if your pup is okay sleeping in a bed/sofa in the living room that is fine too.

Rowan was friendly and helpful, she popped round to visit us ahead of the walk to meet our dog, and on the day she took her for a lovely walk and gave her lots of cuddles. We appreciated the updates and photos, and came home to a happy settled dog. We’d definitely use her again when we need someone to walk our dog or check in on her.

Needed a dog sitter on short notice. Having recently moved to the area, friends or family being unavailable. I messaged Ben as he already have lots of great reviews. Arranged a pre dog meet, he popped around to our house with his kids to chat and meet bobbie. Put at ease immediately and happy to let Ben and his family pick up bobbie the next day. They had a great day out at the lake and at Ben's house. He messaged throughout with updates and when he dropped her off at ours later that evening. We had a happy doggo when we returned home later that evening. Thanks for helping us out short notice Ben. Cheers
