Pet care experience

Reliable and experienced animal lover ♥️

Dog walks and cat calls available ♥️ please note I no longer take males for boarding as I have a female who hasn’t been spayed. First and foremost I love dogs and all animals , I always have, I have had dogs and small animals all my life, I currently have 2 cocker spaniel and a toy poodle. I am a mother to 3 children, age 6,12 and 15 they all dote on our dogs and other dogs. I am fit, a non smoker and I love to walk! I’ve decided to have a career change and integrate my passion of animals and outdoors. I am very reliable and have extensive experience of working with vulnerable people which makes me the perfect choice for elderly clients etc. I am DBS clear. I have also completed my canine first aid course, I am training in dog grooming and completing a canine care and behaviour course. I get great pleasure from having dogs visit and often have doggy play dates, any dog that comes to my home for boarding will be treated very special. Due to one of my children being only 5 and my poodle very small the largest dog I can take is cockapoo type, nor can I take boisterous or nervous dogs as they are more likely to bite, I’m not taking males that are not neutered, they have behaviours such as scent marking when they go to a new place, they do this around my home. If you have a female that has recently had a season at least 4 weeks need to of passed since last day of season. I do not accept dogs who cannot be left alone this is simply not practical for a busy mum. Dogs who sleep upstairs in their own home can do so in my home, this is a family home and dogs who stay are treated like family! I protect and care for them as I would my own. Meet and greets are done before a stay.

Amy has done an amazing job again! This is the fifth time I’ve booked her to care for my cat, and I can always go away with complete peace of mind knowing my cat is in very good hands. My cat seems to recognise her and trust her as well. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you very much, Amy.

I’ve used Amy’s services three times now, and once again, she did an amazing job. My cat is clearly comfortable with her and trusts her completely. I can leave my cat in her care and be away with total peace of mind. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Amy!

Schedule

I will provide pet care whilst my children are at school. Home boarding is around the clock which is managed well. I currently work a few hours a week as a PA to disabled adults, however I will be putting the majority of effort into dog care. I am only ever out of the house for a maximum of 2-3 hours.

Pets

A typical day

I like to give my dogs exercise appropriate for their breed. My cocker spaniels love a good run through the fields but my poodle doesn’t need this. They have their own toy basket for playtime. I like to offer variety in the walks and try not to go the same place often, I have a large SUV which enables me to take them to different places. My children love dogs too and give them heaps of love and attention.
