About: I grew up with family dogs and have experience caring for them, including feeding, walking, playing and looking after their daily needs. Although I don't currently have professional pet care experience, I'm preparing to adopt a rescue dog of my own and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour, body language, positive reinforcement and everyday care. I'm a calm, patient and responsible person who enjoys spending time with dogs. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I'm happy to follow your instructions carefully to keep your dog safe, comfortable and happy. As I work from home, I'm reliable and flexible for weekend walks and drop-in visits. I'll always provide regular updates with photos and messages, so you'll know how your dog is getting on while you're away. As I'm just starting out, I'm currently best suited to caring for small dogs. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits on weekends. Keeping my availability focused on weekends allows me to provide reliable care and give every dog the time and attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, including walking routes, feeding, routines and any special requirements. During walks, I’ll keep your dog safely on lead at all times unless you’ve specifically requested otherwise. I’ll also provide regular photo and message updates, so you can feel confident that your dog is happy, safe and well cared for.

About: Having dogs since I was 4, I have always been comfortable and passionate. We are currently PAT volunteers with our dog Bjorn (golden retriever) and hold a current canine first aid qualification. I can provide a full DBS check and provide dog walking insurance details. To clarify, the dog walking, boarding and day sitting will be solely done by myself. My wife will be present in the home but works from home. I am a full time dog walker and sitter. I can be flexible during any day of the week, and will give plenty of notice if circumstances change. Pet's come first in my household, wether it's a toilet break, play time or just attention. I can easily provide photos/videos throughout the day to keep your peace of mind, and also hold a fully quarter acre fenced garden, pleanty for any dog to run and have a sense of freedom or adventure.

About: Working 9–5 in Glossop, but available mornings, evenings, and nights, with daytime availability during my breaks for visits, feeds, check-ins, and cuddles. Happy to accommodate any special requirements, including medication and personalised care routines. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their usual routine, smells, and comforts. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter tray cleaning, medication, and any specific quirks or preferences their cat may have. I take time to build trust with each cat at their own pace, whether they’re confident and social or more shy and reserved. I never force interaction — I let the cat decide the level of attention they want, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed throughout my visit. I keep your home secure by being respectful, tidy, and mindful at all times, ensuring doors and windows are properly checked before I leave. I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were my own cats. You’ll also receive regular updates, including messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I've always wanted to do something like this. I have looked after my friends and family dogs and cat (s). I only have my personal experience. I'm. Very passionate what I do and will always treat your animals I look after has my own . I currently have a nearly 11 yo border collie keeps my on my toes despite hip dysplasia and arthritis. I have experience with him giving him his daily medication. I have my personal experience owning dogs since inwas 14 years old . So I know a lot about them . Just love animals from feeding to walking complying with them . I'll care for them has my own I currently don't work due to medical conditions. But doesnt stop playing and looking after your animals . which is why I've decided to take this challenge on for me has I absolutely love dog's. So I'm flexible for just about anything at the moment My gardens are fenced off My back all paved with some grass down one side it's 6 panels by 6 panels . So mine has plenty of space to play ball and run around Front is metal fenced off.

About: I have had various dogs of my own over the last 35 years, I also look after friends dogs on a regular basis either in their home or in mine! I no longer have a dog of my own so I will definitely love yours as though they are mine! I am now retired, I volunteer for a charity however these times are flexible and I plan my involvement with them according to my diary. I have a fenced garden, I also live in a lovely area with lots of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, your pet will be allowed on furniture if that’s what they are used to. I definitely don’t have any issues with dogs on sofas, beds etc.

About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: A deep love for pets and years of experience with dogs and cats make me an excellent choice for your pet sitting needs. I have studied the science of cat and dog ownership systematically myself and am open to learning and respecting the nature of animals. I am committed to making your pet's stay a happy one. After working full-time in the UK, now I have chosen to be a PhD student in Education. During my PhD, I work from home most of the time. I mainly live on the rent I collect for my house elsewhere, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets and keep an eye on them to make sure they are healthy and happy. Since my doggy is ‘free-range’ at home, we don't have a crate. Therefore, your pet friend will also have access to all rooms. And there is an enclosed back garden where your pet can go to the toilet at any time. My Shiba Inu is very gentle and friendly, most of the time she just sleeps on our sofa or lies on the floor casually. She enjoys playing with other dogs and never shows aggression towards humans or pets. She will be a great companion for your pet. I have a very light schedule so I have plenty of time to look after your furry baby.

About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! I would insist on a meet and great first to ensure not only you are comfortable leaving your precious dog with me to to make sure they also feel comfortable. I am currently at home during the days and evening. I usually offer a morning afternoon and evening walk to suit your pets requirements! More or less if needed! I am flexible around their needs! I live in a house with a dog friendly garden and have lots of.Country walks including places for swimming around my area . I allow your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! If they want to join me on the furniture for a cuddle they are more than welcome! I have a box of dog toys they can enjoy and easy access to the garden with is safe and adapted to meet your dogs needs .

About: I have always had pets (dogs and cats) and have cared for and walked friends and neighbours animals for years. I’m very enthusiastic about animals and will go above and beyond to care for them and make sure they are comfortable and happy! I work from home 9-5 (excluding Mondays and Wednesdays) so i will be available 24/7. I am free during all evenings so i’m available if you want to go out in the evenings/overnight! I live in a 2 bed terrace house with a small fenced garden and i live opposite a dog friendly park. I have 2 senior cats who are very friendly and sleep all day.

I’ve also looked after my friends and neighbours dogs whilst they were on holiday or just taken them on walks if they were busy that day. Your pet will be in safe, caring hands! About: I don’t just watch dogs—I care for them the way I’d want someone to care for my own. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routines, and little quirks, because I know that’s what makes them feel safe and happy when you’re away. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or calm and cuddly, I adjust my care to match them—not the other way around. Walks are never rushed, playtime is intentional, and downtime is calm and comforting. I’m big on clear communication too, so you’ll always get updates and photos that show your dog is relaxed, loved, and having a great time. I’m currently at university so I wouldn’t be available on Tuesdays or Fridays that includes Monday night and Thursday night if it’s an overnight stay however I am available any other days or times I always want to make sure your pets feel safe and secure and it’s my job to do so. Your fluffy friends will have the best time with me and will be safe and sound

About: We both volunteer at a greyhound rescue centre, and most recently were fostering a greyhound for 3 months. While we’re happy he found his forever home, we miss having a furry friend around! Henry has had Great Danes his whole life, from puppyhood to seniors. He was primarily responsible for their training, grooming, playing and general care. Jess has looked after cats for years, and was the primary caretaker of her family’s cat before moving (Zola the cat is still living happily with Jess’ family!). She also volunteers at the local cat rescue centre. Jess works from home most of the week with a flexible schedule. Henry has a stable roster in the airline industry so has plenty of days off, including weekdays. It’s very easy for us to change our schedules to ensure someone is home. We have a generously sized fenced garden which connects to the Longdendale trail. There are many people walking their dogs in the fields behind our house and in the neighbourhood.
