I care for pets in their own home so they can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their usual routine, smells, and comforts. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter tray cleaning, medication, and any specific quirks or preferences their cat may have. I take time to build trust with each cat at their own pace, whether they’re confident and social or more shy and reserved. I never force interaction — I let the cat decide the level of attention they want, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed throughout my visit. I keep your home secure by being respectful, tidy, and mindful at all times, ensuring doors and windows are properly checked before I leave. I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were my own cats. You’ll also receive regular updates, including messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Now as an older gentleman, while I am unable to offer a dog a long term home, I am able to pamper and care for yours if you fancy a Friday or Saturday night out but don't want to leave them home alone. I am available for Friday and Saturday night sits in your home with your dog(s) (I work other evenings). I am fit and able to walk I am a house proud and conscientious person. About: I have had various dogs of my own over the last 35 years, I also look after friends dogs on a regular basis either in their home or in mine! I no longer have a dog of my own so I will definitely love yours as though they are mine! I am now retired, I volunteer for a charity however these times are flexible and I plan my involvement with them according to my diary. I have a fenced garden, I also live in a lovely area with lots of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, your pet will be allowed on furniture if that’s what they are used to. I definitely don’t have any issues with dogs on sofas, beds etc.

If your pet can't be left alone, my partner is a hybrid worker & I can make sure he's home before running errands. We allow animals on the furniture but not upstairs. Due to our own dogs being crate trained, we prefer to take on dogs that are also crate trained when it comes to boarding at our home so they have a safe space to sleep overnight (crate training isn’t necessary for daycare clients or calm, confident dogs). Dogs will always be fed separately & will be given breaks to rest after meals, walks & playtime. We can offer as many or as little walks depending on the needs of your dog alongside plenty of cuddles, games & supervised doggy playtime 🐾

About: I adore all animals and I really love spending time with them. I’ve worked with horses and dogs quite extensively, and have owned a range of small furry creatures, plus a Pygmy hedgehog at one point! I owned a rescue shepherd, so I have plenty of experience with big, reactive dogs. I have looked after many dogs of all sizes and ages, and used to work in a puppy training class. I fully understand that each dog has its own needs and having years explaining to sitters about my own dogs needs, I promise I will listen to every last detail about your beloved pet, because I know how important it is 🫶🏻 I have quite a varied schedule, so it may well be that I can spend all of my time with your pet. If I have to go out to work, I will make sure all yours pets needs are met before leaving. I am very happy to look after your dog exactly how you’d like them looked after. Because my schedule is flexible, I can easily arrange my breaks around your pet's specific feeding and potty routine to give them my full attention and energy. I grew up with cats in Cyprus and have a dog of my own back home, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities. I’m very respectful of your pet’s space and their bond with you.
