About: For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are smaller and would be able to stay in the house if that’s needed. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: Animals and birds have been part of my life since day dot. From the day I was born, there have always been cats, dogs, birds, small animals etc, and this has continued into my adult life. There has never been a time when I haven't had animals and I would never want there to be. I'm just at ease and at my happiest when I'm with animals, they change your perception of life, they ground you when you've had a bad day, they're always there for all lifes ups and downs, without judgement, they are our life and it wouldn't be the same without them. I promise you, I will look after your precious fur family in the same way that you do. I will keep you updated with photos and all their little daily quirks. Of course, I'm DBS checked and fully insured and have four very spoilt cats and a little doggo that are doted over daily. I currently have a small home based food business that is totally flexible and will fit around my pet visits. The plan is to build up the pet care business to a point where I can eventually close the food business .... and reclaim my home :-) I have 4 very beautiful cats varying in age from 3 to 15 years, all rescues. I also have a spoilt little Shih poo that's 5 years old that thinks she's one of the cats. They all have complete run of the house and two cats and Doodle even sleep with me on the bed every night. My fur family are my life ....and your fur family will be too. Life just isn't life without our four legged friends, is it.

About: I am a recently retired Police Officer after 30 years service. I have decided to use my spare time to offer a dog walking and pet sitting service. I have been a volunteer at Glossop Cat at Rescue for 3 years and have had a love of all animals since childhood.

About: I would be the sole caregiver and would not leave your dog in the hands of other people. I’ve had my dogs my whole life and have been involved in the care and training for them. I currently have 5 dogs, including 2 rescue dogs and a puppy. I have looked after other peoples dogs and have stayed overnight with them. I have also walked other peoples dogs and have been trusted to care for them. I can do drop ins for dogs of any age to let them out, play with them, feed them etc. I can walk your dog or dogs and ensure they have a sufficient amount of exercise whilst still putting their best interests first. I’m currently working full time as an apprentice. I have flexible hours so am able to start earlier and finish early if needed. I love dogs and am hoping to be able to spend more time with them. I can go along with anything that your dog needs at their own house and would offer to come and meet them before staying to ensure I am the right person for the job

Your cats would be in good hands with me! Please note - I have a fear of dogs due to an incident with them I faced as a very young child so please do not hire me if there will be a dog at home, thank you!
