About: What sets me apart is my formal education in zoology combined with hands-on experience in the animal sector. I understand animal behavior, body language, and welfare on a deeper level than the average sitter, allowing me to tailor care to each dog’s individual needs. I’m attentive, knowledgeable, and calm in a variety of situations—whether that’s caring for energetic puppies, senior dogs, or pets that need a little extra patience and understanding. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for and engaging with your dog throughout the day. Attentive, hands-on care for your beloved pet. I aim to create a safe, calm, and trusting environment where dogs can feel relaxed and secure (your dog’s home away from home). My background in zoology and animal care means I’m confident reading behaviour, managing routines, and prioritising welfare at all times. I follow care instructions closely, maintain consistent boundaries, and always put your dog’s safety and comfort first, treating them with the same care and respect I would my own.

Leanne was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond, looking after ours cats Patch and Pepper. Even winning over the shy and untrusting Pepper. Thank you for looking after our babies. We would not hesitate to recommend or use Leanne again. Thank you Leanne.🙂

Megan has been fantastic with drop-in visits for my cat while we’ve been away for the week. Each day came with slightly different — and sometimes quite complex — instructions and timings, but Megan took everything in her stride and handled it all perfectly without needing any prompting. She was reliable throughout, and we always received detailed updates, which gave us real peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or book her again whenever we’re away.

Please read my reviews - 100 plus reviews - Best care and love given Fully Registered with Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council - this is a legal requirement, insurance will not pay if you’re not with a registered home boarder. Just a few things to take into consideration when booking with myself. 1. I only take small dogs UNDER 15kg 2 I have a very large garden for lots of playtime, with a big box of toys and bubble machines. 3. I offer a full loving experience to all the dogs that board with me. 4. We are a non-smoking family, with no children in the home, unless the grandchildren visit. 5. All dogs get my exclusive time, as I work from home, all dogs follow me, where I go they go :-) If you want to learn more about my dog care, follow me on my Facebook Page SK - Luxury Home Dog Boarding. Nothing is edited, just dogs having fun. I believe in making sure your dog has a 5* experience. You’re on holiday, they're on holiday. A little about me. I have owned dogs all my life, mainly in groups of 3, 5, or 7 they have all since passed over the rainbow bridge. After having a 3-year break, I joined Rover to get my dog fix, since then I have since re-homed 4 miniature dachshunds, from 4-10 years, all girls. I have owned Jack Russells, Poodles, Labrador Heinz 57, Shetland Collie, and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They have all lived way past their life expectancy dates. Therefore, I have good knowledge of all types of dogs. I'm sure your pet will enjoy staying here, as much as ours did, leaving you to go on your holiday, or weekend away knowing they are safe. Many thanks for taking the time to read this. Carol & John x I am currently working from home, all boarding dogs go where I go in my home, I keep them with me always. All dogs are fed separately, twice a day. We have 6ft fencing the whole way around. Electric gates to the home, with a 2nd gated barrier at the front door, plus each side of the house. CCTV to keep an eye on them in the garden, to run free, if I am in the kitchen. Safety gates in all rooms. Full 1st Aid Kit Full emergency fire plan. Sick dog room if needed.

Really happy with the care my cats got while I was away for the weekend. I got lovely updates and videos which made me feel so much better about being away, and it was obvious they were well looked after and given lots of attention. I came home to two happy, relaxed cats and everything was exactly as it should be. Would definitely book again and happily recommend!

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, mainly German shepherds, Rottweilers and even tiny dogs like Cavapoos and jack Russell’s, I spend my spare time going on new adventures with my own dog Darcy, I’ve only just started my business but I excel in new challenges like basic training, working on recall and lead pulling so you and your dog can then go on amazing adventures together. Working with puppies is something I’ve always wanted to do aswell as they can pick things up so much quicker and who wouldn’t want to spend there time playing with puppies. I’m currently working Part time so il have loads of time to spend with your animals, which will include fun walks, cuddles and lots of treats. Your animals will be spoilt and will be treated as if they were my own, morning and evening walks for your fur babies, if it’s just cats then it will include playing around the house with toys, plenty of cuddles and affection. They will never be left for longer than 3-4 hours Il be offering pet sitting at owners homes so will follow all instructions that you leave for your fur babies to be looked after, whether that’s daily medication at specific times, vet visits, il make sure we stick to your animals normal routines so they don’t feel too much of a change, they’ll be treated as if they were my own animals and will get lots of attention and mental stimulation

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors who need extra patience and support. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic medications, leash training and reinforcing good manners through positive reinforcement. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and body language, making sure they feel safe, understood, and loved. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I aim to keep pets relaxed and happy while you’re away. Pet care fits around my weekly college schedule, which I attend four days a week, plus one day of work experience at a doggy daycare. I’m used to structured routines and being around animals every day. Outside of those hours, I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as weekends. My experience at a busy daycare has made me confident managing different personalities, keeping pets safe, and giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection whenever I’m with them. I’m also happy to be contacted about caring for other types of pets, including reptiles and small animals. Safety is always my top priority. I’ve done work experience in a veterinary clinic for 4 years, so I’m very comfortable around animals of all temperaments and have a good understanding of their health and behavior. I’m able to notice early signs of stress or illness and handle situations calmly if anything seems off. When I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and stick to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable. I make sure doors are secure, double-check leashes and harnesses, and keep a close eye on pets during outdoor time. I’m careful about unsafe foods or objects and always aim to keep things calm and clean. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I have grown up with family pets including horses, fish, birds, hamsters and mostly dogs! I was a regular Borrow My Doggy walker and have provided overnight dog sitting for family and friends. Dogs I have cared for and grown up with include cairn terrier, lurcher, cockapoo, beagle, mixed breed. A year ago I rescued my first cat Willow from the RSPCA and have never looked back! She's been the best addition to our family. My main job is a registered nurse. I've been a cancer/palliative care nurse for 26 years so if you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, caring, reliable and trustworthy that's just who I am. My availability will be mostly ad hoc on my days off and holidays. I work to a monthly rota in my main job as a registered nurse so pet drop ins, walks and sitting will fit in around this. *Message me for dates from August '26 onwards - current availability released for April, May, June and July* I will be guided by you and care for your pets as you would; how you manage their behaviour, walking on or off the lead, feeding, cleaning and providing love and attention. I will also respect and care for your home during drop ins and overnight stays. I have always stood by the saying, "treat others as you would want to be treated yourself".

About: I’ve taken care of my two chocolate labradors at my family home for years. They are family pets that are owned by my parents, but I have been the main person to deal with their hygiene, walks, and bedtime routines. I took care of them when working from home, and now I live with my partner we live in a building with no pet allowances. I want to help the community with pet sitting needs, and meet new dogs! I work full time, but on Fridays I work from home, and I have lots of free time on weekends that I would love to spend hanging out with dogs! I would only be able to pet sit at the owners home, but I am a quick learner and I feel that dogs will be safer to look after in an environment that they know and understand.

About: Hi I'm Cait! I have a degree in animal psychology and behavioural welfare. I live on the outskirts of Cheshire but drive and I am willing to travel. I've have grown up surrounded by a variety of animals but have been professionally caring for them for 3 years, this includes puppies, rescue dogs, mane coon's, rabbits, guinea pigs, as well as a visit to Tanzania which included the conservation of wild African animals. My experience has been in not only walking animals, but in maintaining their welfare by bathing / grooming, for example bathing guinea pigs and cutting their nails, or mucking out hen enclosures. Over the past 3 years my care for animals has involved boarding them in their own home, I believe there is no better environment for an animal than in its own home and comfort. My usual routine would consist of me travelling via my own car to your home, handing over from you via text or in person to ensure I am aware of all pet needs. I provide fully comprehensive insurance which covers accidents and Injuries. I am also trained in Canine CPR and choking, allowing both me and you to ensure your animal is in safe hands

About: I’ve had dogs for many years and have successfully raised terriers, a German shepherd and currently a Labrador. I only have three dogs at home: I would like to help others in providing a cost friendly pet service, which doesn't cost more than conventional boarding... It seems many on here are offering their service at double, if not, more the cost of dog kennels which doesn't seem right. My home has a very large garden which is secure. Living in the High Peak also means your dog will get plenty of walks in the countryside - a holiday for your dog. I plan my availability around my working schedule. This means that I will be home during the period of time I am available. I do have my own activities in the the day e.g. gym, which means I leave your dog at home for this time. This can be changed accordingly if needed. Plenty of space for dogs in my home. A garden for self play time. Peak District walks or if your dog is fit enough, it may join me on my 5k runs.

About: Hello, my name is Ella, I am a keen animal lover!! I often visit friends just to spend time with their dogs and cats! Growing up, me and my Nana's dog Charlie spent a lot of time together on the beach. He would actually only go in the sea if I went in first! I have lived with Cats for the past 8 years and was the No1 pet sitter on my street growing up. I love building a bond with animals as they have so much love this share and it's like you are communicating on another level. I work as an Arts and Horticulture Facilitator with lots of different people including vulnerable young people so have a full DBS check with no criminal record. I pride myself on being trustworthy, kind and caring. I look forward to meeting and taking care of your gorgeous little babies and keeping them safe while your are away. I am a freelancer so can often stay with your animals so they get lots of attention from me. Or I can visit them Inbetween my work. I will take things at the pase your animal prefers and we will get to know each other and hopefully become close. I am happy to give your pet as much space or as much love as they want. As well as giving your animal some food and a lot of attention I'll change litter trays, give treats and brush your pets if they enjoy that. I can also give tablets where they can be put into their food, but I would need to discuss administer pills by hand. I'm happy to collect your post, water and check plants while you're away. If there are any other odd jobs in the house I can do to give you peace of mind, I'm happy to discuss this with you - just let me know! Also I can send updates and pictures too.

Hannah is absolutely FANTASTIC!! She stepped up when I needed someone to look after my dog at short notice and is so reassuring and knowledgeable. Lolly can be nervous with new people but Hannah was great at working with Lolly's pace. She really put me and Lolly at ease and I will absolutely be booking her again! Highly recommend if you've also got a shy or anxious dog, she's amazing.
