My whole life has been surrounded by animals and I love meeting new friends x I currently work part-time at Screwfix and am looking to expanding my options in my gap year. About: I've had pets all my life, growing up with a huge English sheep dog as my first best friend. I now live in Woolston with my husband and children age 17, 14 and 6. We have a Shorkie dog, a British blue shorthair cat, Russian tortoise, hens and fish indoors and outdoors. Pets are life around here! I'm fully DBS checked as I work from home as a tutor. I can carry out home visits for all kinds of pets and am happy to board cats overnight (your cat will have its own space to be in during the day and night). I currently work from home 90% of the time so I'm around to take care of pets and provide them with plenty of attention. I hold a fully DBS check because I'm an online teacher. I can provide house visits once or twice daily and I also offer boarding for cats (separate area of the house to where my own cat lives).
“We had a great experience with Darcy and found her to be reliable and trustworthy. Everything was done exactly as promised, and all of our instructions were followed carefully. We especially appreciated the detailed updates about Shelly, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.”

“Chloe clearly loves dogs and Shankly took to her straight away. They had a good walk and played games in the house on their return. We were kept updated with reports and photographs and we felt confident that Shankly had been well stimulated and cared for. Chloe came across as a lovely trustworthy person.”

With puppies and younger animals, I’m patient and consistent, helping reinforce basic training, routines, and good behaviour. For senior pets, I understand the importance of a gentler approach, including administering medication if needed, sticking to specific routines, and making sure they’re comfortable at all times. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs—whether that’s high-energy playtime, long walks, or just quiet companionship. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you always have peace of mind. I’m currently only working part time. So i have plenty of free time to take care of animals and provide them with love and attention they deserve. I stick closely to their usual feeding, walking, and sleeping routines, and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also supervise interactions at all times and ensure the environment is secure and pet-friendly. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I follow all instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walks, medication, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets feel reassured in their familiar environment by giving them lots of attention and maintaining their normal routine. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners feel at ease.
About: Hi there! I’m Annabelle 🌞 — an all-around animal lover who’s been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses since day one 🐾. My very first experience with dogs was as a baby, snuggled up next to our family Staffy named Aussie Dog (yes, that was really her name!) 🐶. When I turned 9, my mum gave me the best gift ever: my own pup, a Fox Terrier named Rosy. Not long after, we welcomed my Nan’s dachshund, Molly, and since then I’ve never known life without a four-legged friend nearby. I live with my partner, and while we’re not quite ready for our own pup just yet, we’d love to share our love and care with yours — whether that’s through dog walks, drop-in visits, a long stay at a home away from home or just being an extra pair of helping hands when life gets busy 🦴. A little more about me: I work full-time Monday to Friday, but I’m lucky to have flexi-hours ⏰ and can take up to a 1.5-hour lunch break! I’m caring, reliable, and absolutely adore getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your dog is a bouncy ball of energy or a mellow couch cuddler, I’ll treat them like one of my own ❤️. Before any booking, I’d love to meet you and your pet to make sure we’re all a great match. It’s really important to me that your pet feels happy, comfortable, and safe while in my care 🐕🦺. I work full-time Monday to Friday, but I have flexible start and finish times ⏰ and can take up to a 1.5-hour lunch break. I can also work from home 3 days a week, which gives me even more availability to care for your pup during the day. At home, I have a secure fenced yard. If needed, I’m also happy to crate your dog to ensure a safe and calm environment for them to settle into.

About: Hi, I’m Lydia, 29 years old and dogs have always been a huge part of my life 🐶 I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, from growing up around family pets to regularly looking after dogs for friends and family. I have 8 years experience of long haul cabin crew and I am looking for a new career, keeping my feet on the ground!☺️ Over the years, I’ve built a strong understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and behaviours, and how to adapt my care so each dog feels safe, calm, and happy. I offer reliable dog walking services tailored to your dog’s needs, with 30-minute or 1-hour walks available. I can walk up to 4 dogs at once, ensuring they are carefully matched by size, temperament and energy levels so every walk stays safe, controlled and enjoyable. Safety is always my top priority. I use secure leads, avoid unsafe or overstimulating situations, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and surroundings at all times. I am Pet First Aid Trained. A typical day with a dog in my care includes structured walks, plenty of sniffing and enrichment time, toilet breaks, fresh water, and calm attention so they feel settled and content. For longer visits, I also include feeding and companionship, keeping their routine as normal as possible. I believe clear communication with owners is essential. I’ll always provide updates after walks and visits, and I’m happy to share photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is safe and happy. I’m easy to reach, responsive, and always honest if anything changes or needs attention🫶🏼 Weekly, I organise bookings carefully to ensure I’m not stretched too thin and that each dog gets the level of care they need. I leave enough flexibility in my schedule for exercise, cleaning, preparation, and maintaining a calm environment at home. I also build in time for communication with owners, including updates, photos, and messages so they feel reassured and connected while their pet is with me. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean and fully dog-friendly environment designed to help dogs feel safe and settled from the moment they arrive. My home is quiet and structured, with a relaxed atmosphere that avoids unnecessary noise or stress. Dogs are supervised throughout their stay and never left alone for long periods, ensuring they always feel secure and cared for. I have a secure fenced back garden for them to roam in too. I maintain a consistent daily routine that includes regular walks, toilet breaks, feeding times, play, cuddles and plenty of rest. Dogs have their own comfortable space to relax and unwind, as well as supervised time interacting with me throughout the day. I take care to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including any dietary needs or specific instructions from owners. If I am caring for more than one dog at a time, I carefully assess temperament and compatibility before accepting bookings. I manage introductions slowly and safely to ensure everyone is comfortable, and I always prioritise a calm and balanced environment. Safety is central to everything I do in my home. I keep doors, gates, and entry points secure at all times, and I closely monitor dogs for behaviour, stress, or health changes. In an emergency, I act immediately by contacting the owner and seeking veterinary care if needed, staying calm and focused to ensure the best outcome for the pet.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Warrington
This was our first time using anything like Rover and we were not disappointed. Our dog Rupert doesn’t settle in other houses, so we booked Stephanie to do 2hr drop ins so he wasn’t on his own during the day. Stephanie was quick to respond, explained how to use the app, and arranged a pre-meet visit at the house. Stephanie was amazing every day, sent lots of very good photos 🤩 which we will get framed! And gave regular updates. We will be booking Stephanie again in the future 😊 thank you so much xx

I'm very grateful to Marta for drop in visit. Molly was very well cared for. I had a very good contact with Marta during the meet and greet visit. She's been trustworthy from the very beginning. I will definitely use Marta's services in the future. I highly recommend Marta as a pet sitter.
This was the first time Bianca met Hero and it went very well. She’s friendly and it’s obvious she loves and feels comfortable around dogs. Hero slept next to Bianca for most of the visit so he definitely feels relaxed around her. Many thanks for the introduction visit. Hero is looking forward to the next time you look after him.

I’m so glad I found Carrie on Rover. From our very first message, she was warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting to know Rolo. She asked thoughtful questions about her routine, quirks, and favorite things, which already made me feel so much more comfortable leaving her in Carrie’s care. When she came for the drop-in, she arrived right on time and greeted Rolo like they’d been friends forever. She didn’t just pop in and out — she really took the time to play with her, give belly rubs, refresh her food and water, and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The best part was the updates. She sent me the sweetest photos and little notes about what Rolo was up to — which toys she played with, how many treats she got, and even a few funny moments. You could tell she was paying attention and actually enjoying her time with her. When I got home, Rolo was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. That kind of peace of mind is priceless. Carrie didn’t just “do the job” — she treated Rolo like her own, and that means everything to me. I’ll definitely be booking her again, and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a sitter who truly cares.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
