About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have many years of personal experience caring for both dogs and cats. As someone who has used Rover for my own pets, I understand how important it is to find somebody you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. I recently lost my beloved dog, Aspen, to congestive heart failure shortly before her 12th birthday. Aspen and my other dog, Jetson, had been together since they were puppies. I am not ready to welcome another dog of my own just yet, but I would love to open my home to other pets, giving them a safe, comfortable and loving home from home while also providing some gentle companionship for Jetson, who misses Aspen greatly. Jetson is almost 12 years old, and I also have a 15-year-old cat who is comfortable around dogs. Because of my experience with older pets and Aspen’s heart condition, I understand the importance of patience, close observation, established routines and giving medication exactly as instructed. I am particularly comfortable caring for senior pets and providing the calm, reassuring environment they may need. I work from home, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention and regular access to our fully enclosed garden throughout the day. I only accept pets from one family at a time and will never board or care for another client’s pets during your booking. This means your pet will receive my full attention without unfamiliar visiting animals coming and going. Pets staying with me will be treated as part of the family and given plenty of affection, reassurance and companionship. In my home, pets are welcome to relax on the sofas and sleep on the beds if that is what they are accustomed to. However, I will always follow your household rules so that your pet’s routine remains consistent. Please let me know about any boundaries, habits or special requirements. I will carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, toilet breaks and sleeping arrangements. Every animal has their own personality, so I am happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me, Jetson and my cat. I will also send regular photographs and updates so you can relax knowing that your pet is safe, settled and receiving lots of love. As well as home boarding, I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, older and in need of a gentler pace, or simply happiest with cuddles and company, I will care for them as lovingly and responsibly as I would my own. I work from home, so I am available throughout the day to provide plenty of company, attention, toilet breaks and supervised time in the garden. Walks, meals, medication and bedtime will be arranged around your pet’s normal routine wherever possible. I am also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walks, subject to availability. My home has a fully enclosed garden, and visiting pets are treated as part of the family. I only accept pets from one family at a time, so I will not care for another client’s animals during your booking. Your pet will share the home only with my gentle senior dog, Jetson, and my dog-friendly senior cat, Tillie. I will follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and household rules. Pets are welcome on our sofas and beds, but I will maintain your own rules if you prefer them not to use furniture. When caring for a pet in their own home, I will treat both the animal and the property with care and respect. I will keep doors and gates secure, follow the agreed routine and send regular photographs and updates for your reassurance.

I searched the list and came upon Anna , and I can honestly say after being away for 10days I didn't worry about my girls once , Anna is amazing she has a deep understanding and empathy for animals and she put me at so much ease , I got daily photos and videos and she went totally above and beyond to make sure my girls were made to feel loved and that they weren't being left alone ... they love her (and that's a big thing for my cat!!) About: I grew up with cats and a little terrier cross, so I know how just how important members of the family our pets can be. My years working in a veterinary practice has also allowed me to become familiar with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from pups to seniors, and I would love to spend time with yours and keep them happy and comfy while you are away. I have recently come home from travelling so I am currently job hunting, meaning I have plenty of time to care for your pets, as I am fully flexible. I do not currently offer boarding but I am happy to stay at your house and keep your pets company. I am familiar with crate training and will try to maintain their usual schedules with walking and feeding.

I also had the opportunity to dog sit a Border Collie for an owner while I was in Canada for two months, which gave me valuable experience caring for a dog over a longer period of time. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, looking after family members dogs when I was young and growing up to be that person at a party playing with the dogs 😅 6 years ago I finally got myself my first ever Furbaby, Halle. About: I’ve owned a cat for 18 years but I also have several years’ experience in looking after a large dog. I spend most of my days caring for humans & my spare time caring for animals! I work shifts so I can accommodate most days/evenings. I work 2 weekends per month, but I can always call in before or after work. My availability only filters out holidays not my shifts, but shifts are provided to you upon booking so you can decide if it is suitable. I no longer accept boarding or sitting in my own home due to my cat Mitzi being the queen of our castle! I will maintain your home to the highest of standards.

About: I've had dogs most of my life, we recently lost my families 13 year old patterdale but luckily I've got 2 very energetic Show Cocker Spaniels to keep me busy. Finn (Blue Roan) is 5 and Reggie (Ginger ninja) is 3. They both went to Dogs Trust puppy classes as soon as they were old enough and I've kept up with this training. Reggie has been anxious since getting him with a lot of travel sickness too. I've slowly worked on his confidence and we actually made it to Wales in November without any issues! We love going on walks to the dog park and socialising, a quiet stroll on the canal or training in the garden. I also have a nephew (Archie - border collie) who I've looked after overnight every chance I got when he was younger, he's now 9 and struggling with his mobility so I'm well versed in looking after arthritic dogs who require medication and more mental stimulation. I'm currently working flexible remote hours as a Graphic designer so I can fit around your schedule and even work from your home if your dog needs more company. Hoping to transition into full-time dog walking / sitting Happy to follow your lead in terms of what training you follow and how you structure their day but can also play and teach them some fun things if you are ok with it.
