“Evgeniy took excellent care of my brother's dog over the Christmas holidays. He sent daily pics and offered a pick up and drop off service which was essential. Highly recommended!”

“Jack was able to look after our cocker spaniel for the day despite very short notice. The fact that Flossy was reluctant to leave his house at the end of her stay showed just how well she had been looked after over the 10 hours she was there ! Ian”

“Saoirse was amazing with my dixie xx I couldn’t have found any one better. Dixie hasn’t had the best experiences with boarding which has left her extremely stressed and we really needed someone to have patience, love, cuddles and time for her xx And that’s exactly what she got with Saoirse xx I received pictures, updates which made me feel incredibly calm knowing she was comfortable and in safe loving hands xxx I can’t thank you enough and how amazing and chilled she was returning home xx I will absolutely because using Saoirse again xxx see you soon xxx”

“Excellent. Stella loves staying with Violeta. She provides such a loving environment for the dogs and Stella gets to make new friends . Can't recommend highly enough”

“Karen & Paul were amazing, they looked after Henry & Peggy two border collies whilst we were on holiday with the family! I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and patient especially with Peggy who can get anxious! I would definitely recommend them!”

About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have many years of personal experience caring for both dogs and cats. As someone who has used Rover for my own pets, I understand how important it is to find somebody you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. I recently lost my beloved dog, Aspen, to congestive heart failure shortly before her 12th birthday. Aspen and my other dog, Jetson, had been together since they were puppies. I am not ready to welcome another dog of my own just yet, but I would love to open my home to other pets, giving them a safe, comfortable and loving home from home while also providing some gentle companionship for Jetson, who misses Aspen greatly. Jetson is almost 12 years old, and I also have a 15-year-old cat who is comfortable around dogs. Because of my experience with older pets and Aspen’s heart condition, I understand the importance of patience, close observation, established routines and giving medication exactly as instructed. I am particularly comfortable caring for senior pets and providing the calm, reassuring environment they may need. I work from home, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention and regular access to our fully enclosed garden throughout the day. I only accept pets from one family at a time and will never board or care for another client’s pets during your booking. This means your pet will receive my full attention without unfamiliar visiting animals coming and going. Pets staying with me will be treated as part of the family and given plenty of affection, reassurance and companionship. In my home, pets are welcome to relax on the sofas and sleep on the beds if that is what they are accustomed to. However, I will always follow your household rules so that your pet’s routine remains consistent. Please let me know about any boundaries, habits or special requirements. I will carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, toilet breaks and sleeping arrangements. Every animal has their own personality, so I am happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me, Jetson and my cat. I will also send regular photographs and updates so you can relax knowing that your pet is safe, settled and receiving lots of love. As well as home boarding, I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, older and in need of a gentler pace, or simply happiest with cuddles and company, I will care for them as lovingly and responsibly as I would my own. I work from home, so I am available throughout the day to provide plenty of company, attention, toilet breaks and supervised time in the garden. Walks, meals, medication and bedtime will be arranged around your pet’s normal routine wherever possible. I am also available for house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walks, subject to availability. My home has a fully enclosed garden, and visiting pets are treated as part of the family. I only accept pets from one family at a time, so I will not care for another client’s animals during your booking. Your pet will share the home only with my gentle senior dog, Jetson, and my dog-friendly senior cat, Tillie. I will follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and household rules. Pets are welcome on our sofas and beds, but I will maintain your own rules if you prefer them not to use furniture. When caring for a pet in their own home, I will treat both the animal and the property with care and respect. I will keep doors and gates secure, follow the agreed routine and send regular photographs and updates for your reassurance.

“Trisha, Shane & Juliet - thank you so much for looking after Socks this week after i needed to travel away for work. Socks had a fantastic time staying with you & had lots of play with Juliet, snuggles and walks with you both. You did a fantastic job of keeping me up to date on how Socks was & what she had been up doing. Have no hesitation in recommending you to others to look after their furry friends. Socks is already looking forward to visiting you all again in August. Thank you again.”

“Opie had a great stay! From the start, everything felt really professional—they provided a form to fill out and arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

Having grown up in an animal-loving home and cared for both cats and dogs, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. “Jenna was very accomodating and flexible to suit my needs. She is very friendly and passionate about animals and I felt at ease having her look after my special girl. Jenna brought Dolly out of her shell and seems to be a cat whisperer! Jenna also kept me updated with photos and videos which I appreciated a lot. I will be using Jenna to mind Dolly whenever I need her looking after. I highly reccommend. Thanks Jenna :)”

“Corrina took excellent care of my 3 kitties whilst I was away for a week. She sent me lots of photos, and messages to reassure me. Corrina also hoovered for me to keep on top of the shedding. I came back to three happy, content and well cared for kittens and a spotless house. Would definitely recommend her and will be using her again without a doubt.”

“This was our first time using a service such as this, usually a family member is available, but this time we were stuck. I read Emily's existing reviews and took the plunge. Well, she is our little cat whisperer 😻 and we will 100% be using her again. Our cat Ruby, is very nervous, most visitors don't see her as she'll hide, and they certainly wouldn't get to interact or stroke her. Emily came morning and evening to feed her and at every visit we received multiple pictures of Ruby playing, taking treats, nuzzling into her hand and even laying on the floor with her tum exposed - Ruby clearly felt same and liked Emily very much 💕 We met Emily the week before going away and instantly liked her, as did our two year old little girl, who Emily was also a hit with 😊 We handed over our key and alarm fob after showing Emily everything just once - all ran smoothly, house was secured and Ruby not just fed but cared for. Thank you, Emily!!! We will definitely be in touch again ✨”

About: What sets me apart is that animals have always been a big part of my life. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn about their individual needs, personality, and any special requirements they may have. I am happy to provide regular walks, play sessions, cuddles, and companionship, as well as keeping owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. My goal is always to make pets feel happy and relaxed while giving owners confidence that their beloved pets are being well looked after.

I have a large fenced garden, with lots of grass creating lots of space for your four legged friend to zoomie round the garden! I have mine and my mums dog, Halle and Arthur (both Cockapoo’s) to help keep your dog company too! Our house is spacious and full of love and company to ensure your dog has a great time!

About: I am a caring person that loves to give as much as attention to a dog as possible. I have been around so many in life and therefore have the confidence to approach any on the street for a stroke or cuddle. I am organised and like to stick to routines for myself or pets I look after. I am definitely an outdoors person but also can relax inside with a lovely cat when I am feeling in the mood for that on a rainy day or for an indoor cat to be loved. I have worked in a lot of customer service roles and therefore have the ability to deliver great experiences for any owner I connect with I have recently completed an Animal and Behaviour psychology course via Alison courses and learn't about various topics - communication, social structure within the animal kingdom, cognitive processes including memory, learning and problem solving for domesticated animals too. I am happy to evidence my certificate and course transcript for any owner and I am keen to do anything else which improves my skills and knowledge about animals in the future too. ** Please note - I am also fully registered on DBS on update service too". Any questions, just drop me a message Mike 😊 I am a general volunteer for a community theatre group (In another place) and a self-advocate for People first Merseyside so a lot of my voluntary work is split between those organisations that are very important to me in the week. I generally help In another place on Saturdays in the castle where games and shows happen until 3pm so my day is busy from 10am-3pm on most Saturdays. I can work my hours around my voluntary work or hikes during each day of the week unless there is something that is extremely important not to miss out during my advocacy work at People first. Church for me is attended on 1st or 3rd Sunday of the month as it's part of the open table network and therefore allows for Sunday pet sitting opportunities too I have a secure locking system on my door and a indoor camera which is good for looking at what's going on indoors as well as outdoors in the estate I live in. There is a beautiful canal nearby me and rimrose valley which has plenty of space for dogs to run about in. I like to keep my home as quiet as possible and don't like disturbances much from neighbours either so dogs or cats can relax easily when I am watching TV a low volume or reading a book in the evening in bed. I have very high standards and like to keep my flat as clean as possible through an organised system of tasks to complete each week. I don't have a lot of clutter around me and tend to keep floors as spacious as possible for me or animals too.
About: I have had family dogs since I was very young and now have my own dog, Teddy. He's 5 now and i've had him since a puppy. I have now been on rover for over 2 years and have been lucky enough to care for many lovely dogs! I have regular and one off clients for walks, day care and overnight stays so have had lots of experience in ensuring your pets have a caring, fun and safe stay with me. I work from home in a flexible role so am almost always available for walks, drop ins and doggy day care at my house too! I have a flexible job meaning I can take your pets out for walks as often as needed. I have crate training experience so am happy to do so if you wish but i'm more than happy for dogs to join me on the furniture too for a more relaxed cuddly stay!

“Daniela was fantastic walking our Jack Russell (Holly), as well as topping up her food & water before leaving. Constantly kept in touch to let us know how Holly was doing too. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for someone to look after their pet.”

“Colin is a real test for any dog walker as you never know what mood he's in - and sometimes he just won't walk!! But Kirsty understands his ways and was able to walk both our dogs today! They returned home happy and tired after a lovely walk - thanks Kirsty 😊”

“This is the first time we have left Dennis with someone other than family, and we were a bit nervous. But we had no reason to be. Zee was fab with him, and went for a quick walk together in advance to check he was happy. We can tell he had the best time, He came back with a massive grin on his face and didn’t even give us the silence treatment for leaving him !”

“Kayleigh is welcoming, friendly and experienced in caring for dogs and their needs. Our frenchie was totally at home and we were kept updated with messages, pics and videos. Would totally recommend booking with Kayleigh - we’ll definitely be rebooking when we next need a sitter. 👍🏻👍🏻”

“Alfie had a very good time with Linda and James. Having been in kennels before he was much happier this time when I picked him up. His tail was wagging very briskly, a good sign for him. I would be very happy for him to go back next time when we are away and would fully recommend them.”

“Amelie was a dream come true! It was the first time leaving our two babies with anybody like this but a change of circumstances left us in a pickle. Amelie was so supportive throughout the process and made us feel immediately at ease. It was lovely to receive daily updates on our trip and it was obvious she had already made a loving connection with Teddy & Sonny from the first day. The real review is from the pups though, they were so happy there, we could see that from the pictures but also from the way they acted at her home. If they could talk I'm sure they would say "we had a lovely holiday, we were well looked after and well cared for". Amelie will be our first choice in future. Thank you Amelie, you made what was a worrying time into something wonderful and Ted & Sonny look forward to staying with you again in the future (they told me 😊).”

“Lauren was great at looking after our dog Pippa, she settled in straight away and loved her stay! We received updates everyday and couldn’t have asked for more, thank you Lauren and Matthew!”

About: We have always had dogs in the family ranging from jack Russels, labradors and Shih Tzus. We currently have a large friendly greyhound, Seamus who is both dog and cat friendly. We also look after another family members lurcher and treat them all like humans. Let us take care of your dog with the peace of mind we will treat them like our own. We live close to the beach and a number of lovely places for walkies. If your dog sleeps on the couch or bed at home then we will do the same as we know how important it is for your dog to feel comfortable and happy. We are a family of 3 - myself, my husband Sean and our 5 year old daughter. I currently work 2 days a week as a district nurse. Our mother in law kindly pops in to see Seamus for us when we are in work and is happy to do the same if we ever had your dog on a working day but we would usually work around this and my husband can work from home. We go for daily walks and have local parks and the beach close by so your fur baby will be spoilt for choice for walkies! We will try and ensure we keep to a routine for your dog as we know they like their comforts! We have a fenced yard and a local park that we go to daily, we also have a closed off field near by with gates for your dog to run around if they are not great off lead, this ensures they are safe at all times. We have a local beach we also go to. Our greyhound Seamus is very friendly and is used to having dogs in the home. If your dog sleeps on the couch or bed we will accommodate this. We have a 5 year old very pet savvy little girl who absolutely loves looking after animals but your dog must be okay with children for us to take your dog. Our daughter is aware to give dogs time to get used to new environments and people and she is very kind to animals so please be assured you dog will be in safe hands with her.

“Daniela was amazing and helped us out last minute with our two dogs - Buddy and Mila. Daniela collected and dropped them off. Whilst under Daniela’s care they had such fun evidenced by the videos Daniela shared. Lots of walks and fun on the beach. Absolutely recommend Daniela and I will use her services again.”

“Max thoroughly enjoyed his time with Charlotte, it was a holiday for him. Despite my worries about what he would be like away from his own home and family, all that worry disappeared. He was well looked after by Charlotte, and you can see she has a genuine love of animals. I will be using Charlotte again to look after Max and would definitely recommend her.”

“Simon boarded and took care of our German Shepherd for a week in May. He took him for regular walks and took into account the hot weather, so in the evening on the local park and beach when it was cooler. We could tell as soon as we met Simon, he was a dog lover and our Max took to him straight away. When we picked Max up, he looked comfortable at Simon's place and we'll looked after. Would happily ask Simon to look after him in the future.”
