About: I often dog sit for friends and family's pet whilst they're away. I have owned dogs for most of my life and I am very familiar with schedules, feedings and how each dog is different. I have looked after dogs as small as Jack Russell's and as big as Bull Mastiff's. I am comfortable with dogs from all breeds and will happily look after more than one. I work as a Postman. I have lot of free time when I finish work at 2pm. Afternoons, evenings and some weekends are best for my schedule. I do have days off in the week that I can commit to home visits and overnight stays. I care by tending to the needs of the dog that are laid out by the owners. I can adapt to different needs and breeds depending on what is best for the dog.

Within this role I split my time between the office and home, working remotely two days a week. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I don’t use crate training—instead, they’re free to roam around the house and make themselves comfortable. I also have a safe, fenced back garden where they can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and exercise under supervision. Whether in my home or a pet owner’s home, I make sure their routine is kept as close to normal as possible—meals, walks, playtime, and cuddles—so they feel secure, happy, and loved while you’re away.

I grew up with a dog that had previously lived in a bad environment, and we instilled trust in her while providing a loving home and changing her life. My mum and I have two three-legged dogs, which I have lived with for years. They too had bad experiences in their past, and also require extra care and attention than normal dogs. I have always adored dogs, and often prefer them to people. I know each dog is unique and I am capable of adapting behaviour to ensure minimal stress to dogs that may suffer from anxiety. I love dogs of any size and age, and will most likely be able to cater to any special requirements your pup has. I have recently started my own cleaning business. As I am self employed, I am flexible in my hours of availability. I will be able to accommodate to suit the best times that work for you, wether walking or pet sitting. About: I have Autism and really feel the pain which animals experience from unexpected sounds by them hiding, shaking or sitting next to a loved one at home due to a fireworks display going on. I feel that dogs have a level of intelligence that really understands my emotions so if I am feeling unhappy or crying they comfort me greatly. I am such a caring person who has raised complaints about the mistreatment of animals on the estate I live on and know how wrong it is to leave them indoors for hours on end - dogs more than cats of course! Animals help to relax my senses particularly when I am overwhelmed by a change or a loud noise around me. It’s the softness of their fur or enjoyment of play time that really makes me forget about the challenges experienced as a result of depression or Autism too. I am ready to offer something by looking after animals now and not people. Many have been taken advantage of because they can be really defenceless and although owners try their best they need relief from the pressures associated with animal ownership, pet bills and their health in general. Please not my experience is around animals my mum have had and many times minding them whilst she goes on holiday abroad or out to social events Mike I am a general volunteer for a community theatre group (In another place) and a self-advocate for People first merseyside so a lot of my voluntary work is split between those organisations that are very important to me. I generally help In another place on Saturdays in the castle where games and shows happen until 3pm so my day is busy from 10am-3pm on most Saturdays. In the week, I occasionally see friends for a few hours at a well-being group, a nice restaurant or nice walks around the city or country parks. I have a secure locking system on my door and a indoor camera which is good for looking at what's going on indoors as well as outdoors in the estate I live in. There is a beautiful canal nearby me and rimrose valley which has plenty of space for dogs to run about in. I like to keep my home as quiet as possible and don't like disturbances much from neighbours either so dogs or cats can relax easily when I am watching TV a low volume or reading a book in the evening in bed. I have very high standards and like to keep my flat as clean as possible through an organised system of tasks to complete each week. I don't have a lot of clutter around me and tend to keep floors as spacious as possible for me or animals too.
