About: Hi, I’m Jasmin! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. From the age of 12 until I left for university at 18, I ran a dog walking and pet sitting service in my village, caring for pets for local families. Towards the end of her life, she required ongoing medication and extra care due to multiple health conditions, so I’m confident administering medication and caring for senior dogs or pets with additional needs. Losing her reminded me just how much our pets mean to us, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with them. About: We have been looking after several dogs of all ages with special care needs, like medications and dietary restrictions, potty training and indoor training, helped them potty train and be receptive to commands We can give full attention as my parents and I work from home, we can look after them without any issues and treat them and love them as they were ours We like to be flexible and adjust to each pet needs but still make sure that they behave correctly and be respectful of the environment they are in.
About: Being a future nurse I’m reliable, attentive, and have great patience and attention to detail. About: I work from home a lot so have lots of time to dedicate to pets. I have been pet sitting on rover and pawshake since 2022, but have pet sit for friends/family previously. I grew up with dogs and have always loved to spend time with animals. My dogs are in the first picture on my profile! Archie (beagle cross) is 14 this year and Oscar (doberdor) sadly passed away last year. I had them both since puppies, as well as a guinea pig and fish! Really lovely in person and lovely with my cats, my cat Iris is quite shy with strangers where as her brother Kai is a social butterfly and she made sure both got as many cuddles as they wanted even when Iris wasn’t the most outgoing . Went above and beyond to make sure they were okey and no request was too much to ask. Highly recommended especially for those of us who are really attached to your pets ❤️
Lindsay is a fantastic sitter, 5stars is not enough. Took loads of time on the pre visit to built trust with my cat and took extensive notes on all our routines. Great coms throughout and flexible with all my last min changes. Lindsay would send a video montage every day of Nova and it's obvious that my cat was being really well looked after and loved. Heather is a lovely lady who really loves cats she is very professional, I felt very reassured that Seymour (my cat) was in safe hands when I was away, we got daily photos and reports and she even watered plants pots in hot weather ! Thank you for looking after our cat Misa last minute. Xiaomian came over to meet Misa and collect the keys and understand our needs before we left for our trip which was great. She left detailed updates with photos which was so reassuring for us. It was clear she dedicated time to understanding what toys and snacks Misa prefers. We also had a pet camera up (which we alerted her about) but this was no issue for her as she understood it’s to keep an eye on our baby!:) Overall Misa had a great time and now she meows at me every morning - I think she is wondering ‘where is Xiaomian with my snacks?!’
Claire was fantastic! She took great care of my baby and kept me updated every day with photos and messages on WhatsApp, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away :) Bobo is usually very reserved and can be quite wary of new people, but he responded really well to Claire, which says a lot. It was clear he was comfortable and well looked after.. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Claire again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.
Anna was very good with Rufus my 2 Yr old Norwegian Forest cat. He did not suffer from my absence at all. Anna sent photos and updates during the day. I think Rufus really enjoyed his day! Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
