“Second time Paddy has stayed, and as before, Helen and Alex were great and Paddy enjoyed himself. Took extra care of him during the recent heat wave and were very accomodating. Both Helen and Alex are dead nice and easygoing. When I needed to change the original booking by adding an extra day, they fitted it around their existing arrangements.”

“Harvey had a fab time he was extremely well looked after and welcomed into the home, had lots of walks and play and really settled well, we will definitely use Elizabeth again thank you so much Elizabeth”

“Very happy dog! Rachael sent us photos and videos and kept us updated about Monty. He clearly had a lovely time. Rachael is very responsive and communicates brilliantly. Highly reccomend”

“After meeting Casimiro we felt completely at ease leaving our labradoodle with him. Our dog Oreo was so well looked after and he was happy and returned to us with what I am sure was a bit of sadness at having to leave his company. He was obviously very spoilt. 😃. Highly recommend and we have no doubts in recommending Casimiro. 🐾”

“Violeta helped us out last minute we were very grateful, our little dog Bailey is quite nervous but he seemed ok when picked him up and Violeta and looked after him like one of her own dogs thanks”

“What can i say! Sylwia and her partner were incredible with our beautiful spot, he can be anxious when meeting new people so he will sometimes bark and want you to sit with him so he can smell you an get used to you then he becomes your best friend, spot didnt bark once meeting sylwia and her partner, and the updates and pictures and videos made us feel so at ease, we have 100% found our regular dog minders now in sylwia and her partner, thank you for taking such great care of our beautiful boy, lots of love and thanks mandi and family and not forgetting spot xx”

About: I really like puppies. I used to help my friends take care of their dogs when they were away. I'm looking forward to taking care of your puppy. I have a full day off every Monday, Saturday and Sunday, and the rest of the days need classes, but they all end before 6 pm at the latest. I will strictly abide by my master's requirements and take my dog to the nearby park on weekends. If you have any requirements, you can tell me in advance, and I will try my best to meet them.
“Really happy with kyon's services, Simba loved his stay with kyon while we were away and we were sent loads of pictures of Simba during his stay. Thanks kyon and we'd definitely use kyon again to mind simba”

“Frank is 3 and this is the first time we've been away from him and left him with a sitter but we couldn't have asked for a better couple than jayadev and his wife niki. They gave us constant updates with photos. Frank had clearly been well cared for while he was there and was his happy normal self when he came home. Would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.”

“Carys was a fabulous sitter! Tara looked so happy staying with her, and she sent us lots of cute photos of our pup and updates throughout the trip. These updates really brightened my day and helped me feel assured knowing Tara was in good hands. :)”

“Jay was absolutely wonderful. This was the first time our 7 month old Labradoodle had been left. Jay let us come and meet her a week before the stay and I instantly felt at ease with her. Jay sent us photos and videos of Minnie during the stay and I know she was so well cared for. I would highly recommend Jay, I can’t thank her enough and I hope she will be our regular sitter.”

“Couldn't be happier with Kieran and his partner and ofcourse Otis, Kieran gave me updates morning, day and night. Floki has came home exhausted and abit deflated think he misses his mate Otis haha! “We honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They have been absolutely brilliant with our dog, and it’s so clear how much they genuinely adore her. Every time she stays with them, she has the best time, and we always feel completely at ease knowing she’s in such loving, capable hands. It means the world to us to have someone we trust so fully with our precious girl, and we’re so grateful for the care, attention, and love they give her. Truly exceptional dog sitters!”
“Lok Him was absolutely fantastic with Jaffa and I would not even have to think about boarding her with him again. He will be the first port of call from now on. Jaffa seamed to return to us enjoying walks more than previously. She was herself and in great health. Thank You So much. Received regular updates, photos and communication. I felt I totally can trust Lok him with my precious dog.”

“Jhenelle and her family took such good care of Poppy, I was genuinely worried that Poppy wouldn't want to come home! The communication from Jhenelle was excellent from before we met and throughout the time we were away. We had regular updates and were reassured that Poppy was having a great time. From the moment Poppy arrived at Jhenelle's home she was a very relaxed and happy dog. I look forward to booking Poppy in again in the knowledge that she will be so well looked after by Jhenelle and her family.”

Absolutely amazed by service and care for our doggo! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else other that Jhenelle. Every upset shown how happy our dog was and I think he would have loved to stay when we picked him up! We’ll definitely be using her again and we’d like to thank her again so much for making our dog feelings at home and relaxed about being away from us.

This was Jake’s 1st stay using Rover so I was nervous leaving him, especially when I dropped him off and it was the sitters sister not him. However they did a great job, kept me up to date with pictures & updates and said Jake had been a gentleman and settled really well…which was lovely. Jake came home happy and relaxed. I would happily leave Jake again. Thanks for looking after him so well 👍🏻

Ben was absolutely fantastic with Bandit. His communication was excellent from the start, and he made us feel completely reassured and comfortable leaving Bandit in his care, especially as the booking was made at short notice. He was very understanding and attentive to Bandit’s individual needs, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making sure Bandit felt happy and settled. We particularly appreciated Ben agreeing to an overnight stay before Bandit’s longer stay in October, so that Bandit could become familiar with him and feel more comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Ben. We feel very confident leaving Bandit with him again. Thank you ☺️

Trisha, Shane & Juliet - thank you so much for looking after Socks this week after i needed to travel away for work. Socks had a fantastic time staying with you & had lots of play with Juliet, snuggles and walks with you both. You did a fantastic job of keeping me up to date on how Socks was & what she had been up doing. Have no hesitation in recommending you to others to look after their furry friends. Socks is already looking forward to visiting you all again in August. Thank you again.

For the first time in 10 years I decided to leave my dogs with a sitter so I could attend my daughters wedding in Dublin. Jay was fantastic from the first time I met her, my dogs took to her straight away. They stayed for 3 nights, I was sent pics and videos, of their shannigans, which looked like a good time. I was reassured they were OK. When picking them up I expected a big welcome from my dogs, but alas no, they did not want to come home, and sulked for a few hours, which told me they had a good time. Jay, thank you so much for looking after my dogs. I will be rebooking with yourself when I go away again as I know they will be in safe hands xx

Just wanted to say thanks SO much to Alison for looking after my little Arthur, she has been amazing. This was my first time leaving Arthur with a minder, he’s usually minded by family members if I am away so I was naturally a bit anxious, but Alison’s reviews looked great and she really made me feel at ease, we even had a meet and greet beforehand. Arthur sounds like he’s had a lovely time with all of the regular updates, photos and videos I got whilst away, i didn’t worry about him at all and I loved how Alison included him on her days out too. He seemed so content when i picked him up! Thanks so much Alison for taking great care of my Arthur, I’d recommend you to anyone looking for a lovely minder for their doggy xxx

What a wonderful time Coco had with Sylwia. From the first meeting, we knew that Coco would be happy. Sylwia was fantastic! She took the time to get to know Coco and gave Coco time to get to know her. (Coco can be a fussy old lady.) Sylwia was attentive and kept us updated with her adventures. It meant so much to know that our fur baby was safe and happy, we can’t thank her enough. Would definitely recommend Sylwia to anyone!

Yudi and Casimiro were absolutely amazing! Even though our dog was quite anxious at first, he quickly warmed up to them. They took exceptional care of him, made sure he was happy and comfortable, and even took him to explore new places. We really appreciated all the love, patience, and attention they gave him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable sitters.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
