“Can’t thank Charlotte enough for looking after my 8 month pup Luna!! I was very apprehensive leaving her for the first time but Charlotte made it very easy and i instantly felt like I trusted her! She kept me updated every single day with pictures, videos and messages! She’s been on some adventures 😃! Couldn’t recommend her enough!! Will definitely be booking with her in the future 🫶 Thank you so much 🙏🙏”

“Really happy with kyon's services, Simba loved his stay with kyon while we were away and we were sent loads of pictures of Simba during his stay. Thanks kyon and we'd definitely use kyon again to mind simba”

“After meeting Casimiro we felt completely at ease leaving our labradoodle with him. Our dog Oreo was so well looked after and he was happy and returned to us with what I am sure was a bit of sadness at having to leave his company. He was obviously very spoilt. 😃. Highly recommend and we have no doubts in recommending Casimiro. 🐾”

“Maria & Philip took care of our 2 huskies and they just couldn’t have done a better job. Our dogs are very excitable and quite active and they have done everything to accommodate for their needs and took such a good care of them with regular updates I just couldn’t be more grateful. If they can deal with sassy and stubborn husky I’m sure they can take care of any dog I would 100% recommend and use them again :) thank you so much again”

“Our little Molly seems to have really enjoyed her stay with Alison. bekng a house-dog she wouldn't really have liked Kennels. Alison was great with her, giving her treats and walks, and even moving the blinds so Molly could lie on the window sill and people-watch like she does at home. Thanks Alison, we will definitely let our Molly come to stay again!”

Depending on the dog service you are looking for, Pickle can either enjoy time with your pet for some socialisation, or your dog can get some 1 on 1 time with just me. For house visits and sits longer than 5 hours, my dachshund would need to come with me following a meet and greet and agreement we both feel happy and comfortable with this arrangement. For puppies I am able to contribute to your training with basic commands and also give lots of attention and love. I have a car and clean license for pick ups/drop offs and travel to different locations for walks. “Our dog isn’t used to staying with others (and we’re quite precious about leaving him with people) but it was clear from the minute we arrived that he would feel safe and comfortable with Lauren and her household. She handled all of his quirks with kindness and a sense of humour, was great about our timings being a bit unpredictable and allowed us to feel 100% confident that our dog was in good hands. Slightly worried the dog would rather live with Lauren and Winnie but we will definitely reach out to them again!”

“Opie had a great stay! From the start, everything felt really professional—they provided a form to fill out and arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

“We honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They have been absolutely brilliant with our dog, and it’s so clear how much they genuinely adore her. Every time she stays with them, she has the best time, and we always feel completely at ease knowing she’s in such loving, capable hands. It means the world to us to have someone we trust so fully with our precious girl, and we’re so grateful for the care, attention, and love they give her. Truly exceptional dog sitters!”
“Ben was brilliant as always with Barnaby. Frequent updates and photos. Barnaby had a great time and went on a little adventure around Liverpool which was lovely to see. Ben is amazing with Barnaby and you can see how happy Barnaby is to see Ben everytime he visits.”

“My puppy loved her time at Catherine's, she has enjoyed lots of walks, has been treated to the same schedule she has at home, and has been showered with affection and attention. Being the first time I have left Skylar alone, and with her being so young, I was concerned, but Catherine reassured me with her planning, regular updates and photos of Skylar enjoying herself. I will definitely be using Catherine again for any future needs”

“Couldn't be happier with Kieran and his partner and ofcourse Otis, Kieran gave me updates morning, day and night. Floki has came home exhausted and abit deflated think he misses his mate Otis haha! I would recommend 1 million per cent, excellent care provided. Will definitely be using Kieran again in the future if needed. Thank you”

“Excellent, highly recommended. Charlene helped us out at short notice and even changed the booking earlier when our plans changed again. The boys had so much fun, she sent regular updates and we knew they were well cared for. She was very sad to see them go, it’s obvious how much she loves dogs, would highly recommend her services”

What a wonderful time Coco had with Sylwia. From the first meeting, we knew that Coco would be happy. Sylwia was fantastic! She took the time to get to know Coco and gave Coco time to get to know her. (Coco can be a fussy old lady.) Sylwia was attentive and kept us updated with her adventures. It meant so much to know that our fur baby was safe and happy, we can’t thank her enough. Would definitely recommend Sylwia to anyone!

Yudi and Casimiro were absolutely amazing! Even though our dog was quite anxious at first, he quickly warmed up to them. They took exceptional care of him, made sure he was happy and comfortable, and even took him to explore new places. We really appreciated all the love, patience, and attention they gave him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable sitters.
Charlotte was fabulous from start to finish, with ease of drop off/pick up times no issues whatsoever. She is so friendly and clearly has a great way with animals. I trusted her straight away with my dog who took to her instantly also! Charlotte kept great communication and sent me photos whilst I was on holiday. She took such good care of my dog and had him out at the beach, visiting a care home and on many lovely walks with great interactions with others and her friends doggy. She was a pleasure to get to know and I would most definitely have her to sit my dog again in the future and I would 100% recommend her to others! Thank you again Charlotte x

I would absolutely recommend Lok. Barney is not the easiest dog to mind, but he clicked straight away with Lok. Lok was very clear, and understanding, and kept updating with photos of Barney, taking him on lots of walks, and hydrating Barney regularly through the heatwave. Lok responded straight away. I think a telling testament to Lok is, when I arrived to pick Barney up, he was in no rush to leave!. I would definitely use Lok again. David Flynn and Barney.

Jay was absolutely wonderful. This was the first time our 7 month old Labradoodle had been left. Jay let us come and meet her a week before the stay and I instantly felt at ease with her. Jay sent us photos and videos of Minnie during the stay and I know she was so well cared for. I would highly recommend Jay, I can’t thank her enough and I hope she will be our regular sitter.

Raquel was absolutely brilliant! She sent constant updates, pictures and videos of our dog which was really appreciated. Even if she was giving him a new food like apple or blueberries etc.. she would check in with me to see whether that would be okay. My dog came home so tired from his holiday at Raquels house because he had so much fun ✨☺️

I cannot recommend highly enough. Had a last minute emergency booking and Jayadev helped straight away, I was so reassured to see my two dogs clearly having the time of their lives in daily updates of adventures in park, home and beach. Excellent communicarion and two very happy dogs. Would definitely use again!

It have been a while since I had a night from Kya and had a feeling Kya was going to be in good hands so held off as long as possible to check in and when I did, I got the best updates and she was having the best time at Josie’s and I’ll hopefully be able to book her in again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
