“Maria & Philip took care of our 2 huskies and they just couldn’t have done a better job. Our dogs are very excitable and quite active and they have done everything to accommodate for their needs and took such a good care of them with regular updates I just couldn’t be more grateful. If they can deal with sassy and stubborn husky I’m sure they can take care of any dog I would 100% recommend and use them again :) thank you so much again”

“Sarah was amazing with Pepper, constant updates and photos which was amazing and kept us at ease while being away from her. We would definitely recommend and 100% will be booking Sarah to look after Pepper when we come back to the area.”

“Alfie had a very good time with Linda and James. Having been in kennels before he was much happier this time when I picked him up. His tail was wagging very briskly, a good sign for him. I would be very happy for him to go back next time when we are away and would fully recommend them.”

“Buckey had the best time and can’t wait to go back ! Highly recommend, Helen was great and kept us up to date with how Buckey was doing. We would definitely use again. Such a lovely couple 🥰”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, having cared for my own Chihuahuas and pug since I was young. Along the way, I've also looked after friends' larger dogs like Cocker Spaniels and Golden Retrievers, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have experience giving medication to older dogs and always make sure every pup gets the care and attention they need. I'm patient, caring, and truly love spending time with dogs — whether that's going on long walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. Your furry friend will be in safe and loving hands with me! I am currently a student, therefore my schedule is usually free! I have lots of time on my hands to care for and walk your dog! I live in an house near a spacious park, perfect for dog walks and playtime. I ensure pets feel comfortable and secure, whether at my home or yours. I follow owners' routines closely, provide plenty of attention, and always prioritize safety and trust.

I was devastated to loose my Beagle almost two years ago now, out son was only around at the time and we haven’tfely ready to get another . I miss her very much and miss having a dog at home as I am used to having not only my own, but also looking after dogs got clients and neighbours, dog walkers I would meet and for family and friends which is som thing I eonl as no we don’t have our o n dog, she loved the company of another dog and someone to play with. Now our little boy is going to nursery I would love to have some furry company in my free time 😊🐾💕 I am currently available Monday Wednesday and Thursday mornings when my son is at nursery. This is old be for I’m 8 am until 1pm. “Lok Him was absolutely fantastic with Jaffa and I would not even have to think about boarding her with him again. He will be the first port of call from now on. Jaffa seamed to return to us enjoying walks more than previously. She was herself and in great health. Thank You So much. Received regular updates, photos and communication. I felt I totally can trust Lok him with my precious dog.”

“Excellent host, really helped us out last minute, when my usual sitter let us down. A lovely quiet road with a secure garden. We are likely to send Harvey there again next time as it's just a 15 minutes drive from our home.”

“Couldn't be happier with Kieran and his partner and ofcourse Otis, Kieran gave me updates morning, day and night. Floki has came home exhausted and abit deflated think he misses his mate Otis haha! I would recommend 1 million per cent, excellent care provided. Will definitely be using Kieran again in the future if needed. Thank you”

“Lauren was so lovely and accommodating, taking my pup last minute and being so understanding. She also snapped some brilliant photos of my very happy looking girl, which were reassuring as well as just great new additions to my obscenely large folder of Penny Pics. Definitely going to look to Lauren first when I need a sitter in the future.”

“Jhenelle and her family took such good care of Poppy, I was genuinely worried that Poppy wouldn't want to come home! The communication from Jhenelle was excellent from before we met and throughout the time we were away. We had regular updates and were reassured that Poppy was having a great time. From the moment Poppy arrived at Jhenelle's home she was a very relaxed and happy dog. I look forward to booking Poppy in again in the knowledge that she will be so well looked after by Jhenelle and her family.”

“Opie loved his stayed with Gerrard, he was well looked after and I was kept up to date with everything that he was doing which put my mind at ease. Would definitely ask Gerrard again! Thank you ☺️”

“Opie had a great stay! From the start, everything felt really professional—they provided a form to fill out and arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

About: Get to know me: Hey! I’m Trish, I’m 22 years old and I’ve recently just qualified as a Nurse. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and completing my degree in Nursing has taught me responsibility, attention to detail and how to stay calm and dependable in situations that may be stressful – all qualities that naturally roll over into how I care for pets. I’m compassionate, reliable, and organised – someone you can trust to show up consistently for you and your fur baby. I offer a calm, safe and structured environment, and I treat your pets like their part of my own family. I enjoy staying active, being outdoors and making sure that every dog in my care is happy, safe and loved. Pet care experience: As a lifelong animal lover, caring for pets isn’t just something I do – it’s something I truly enjoy. I appreciate that our pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attentiveness and affection that I would want for my own. Although I’m a new member of the Rover community, I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, so providing loving and reliable care has always come naturally to me. I’m highly attentive to behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I adapt care to each dog’s needs while following owner instructions closely. I have a dog of my own and have also regularly cared for dogs of friends and family while they have been away on holiday, giving me experience with in-home boarding, longer stays and maintaining consistency through familiar routines. In 2019, as part of my year 10 studies, I completed work experience at a local veterinary practice, which gave me invaluable insight into animal wellbeing, handling and the importance of staying calm and gentle in various situations. This experience strengthened my confidence around dogs of all temperaments and ages, and reinforced how much I enjoy caring for animals. From energetic puppies to senior dogs, I am confident adapting to each dog’s unique personality and routine. Services and what you can expect: I take pride in providing a low stress, attentive, dependable care in a calm and nurturing environment where your dog’s wellbeing and safety always comes first. Whether your dog is staying with me, joining me for the day or venturing out on sniff approved walks, you can expect structured care tailored to their needs. With every service, for your peace of mind, I provide regular photo updates and message updates so you can feel at ease with how comfortable and content your dog is at all times. 🏠Boarding – A home away from home A calm, secure home away from home experience where your dog can enjoy a structured daily routine that is tailored to their needs, quality sniff approved walks and enrichment, plenty of affection, and a safe environment. 🐶Doggy Day Care – Fun, safe and tailored days Structured and supervised care designed around your dog’s energy levels, personality and care needs. From drop off to pick up, you can expect plenty of play and enrichment, regular walks and toilet breaks, calm rest periods and personalised attention throughout the day. 🐾Dog walking – Purposeful and sniff approved Reliable, attentive walks at your dog’s pace focusing on their happiness and wellbeing. From being picked up from your home to being dropped off, your dog will be taken on a walk that is suited to their ability and energy levels, safe handling and can benefit from reinforcement of basic training cues if required. As I’m currently not working as a Nurse, I work a part time job with my contract days being Saturday and Sunday, which means that I’m available to provide loving care and stimulating walks for your pets. My flexible weekday schedule allows me to accommodate doggy day care, weekday boardings and dog walking services, ensuring your pets get the attention, exercise and companionship they need whilst you’re away from home. Whether it’s a stimulating walk (both short and long), an all day visit or a longer boarding stay, I want to work with you to establish a routine that keeps your pet happy and comfortable. To ensure your pet feels secure and confident, consistency and safety are my main priorities. During the week, I am able to dedicate my time to play, train and bond - giving your pet plenty of affection and mental stimulation. My goal is to make weekday care seamless for both you and your pet, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they are in safe, caring, gentle and attentive hands. As my apartment is in a secure building with a shared garden area just outside, your pet will have plenty of space to play, explore and get the exercise they need. For longer walks and adventures, I’m just a short 5 minute drive away from Birkenhead Park and within close proximity to local beaches, the Wirral Coast Path, and other dog friendly parks. Keeping your pet safe and happy are my top priorities - when your dog is in my care, they will always be supervised during walks and playtime to ensure they feel comfortable and secure in new environments. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide so you can feel confident your furry friend is in caring, responsible hands.
About: I really like puppies. I used to help my friends take care of their dogs when they were away. I'm looking forward to taking care of your puppy. I have a full day off every Monday, Saturday and Sunday, and the rest of the days need classes, but they all end before 6 pm at the latest. I will strictly abide by my master's requirements and take my dog to the nearby park on weekends. If you have any requirements, you can tell me in advance, and I will try my best to meet them.

About: My family have always had a dog so lots of experience looking after our furry friends! I would love a dog but I can’t commit to a dog full-time with work so hoping Rover can give me that well wanted quality dog time, happy to look after any breeds and live right by Sefton Park so can make sure perfect location to get some walks and play-time in! I have an office job 9 to 5, but would only accept the booking if I’m working from home in the week which would mean morning and lunch time walks, and play time throughout the day! I live by Sefton Park and Princes Park so perfect location for walks, and if the dog is happy to go in the car even a trip to the beach! I live in a flat, but have a big communal garden where I can take the dog down throughout the day. Not precious about furniture or the dog being crate trained so they can have free rein of the flat.
About: I’ve looked after dogs/cats since I was young. I’ve always loved having an animal in the house and have always found it therapeutic. I’ve looked after them for weekends by myself/weeks away for family and neighbours. I’m aware of how to look after a younger dog/cat but also an older/senior. I believe I’d offer a calming aura to all pets and a relaxed home for them. I’m currently working full-time , Monday-Friday 9-5. I’m able to look after pets for the weekends overnight, or in the days on the weekends. I’m also able to have them overnight in the weekday if you’re able to pick them up in the morning. I’m also looking to do play dates in the days on the weekend as well. I live with 2 others, Will and Stef, who love dogs and cats and are comfortable and looking forward to doing this experience. We live in a flat on the 7th floor but it’s secure and comfortable for a pet. We’re able to cage your dog if necessary and if we’re provided with the cage.

About: 2013 was the year when I saw a post Online, someone ditched puppies and they needed home. Thats how my Journey with dogs started, I offered a home to 5 dogs in past 9 years. I moved to UK from Croatia, and I'm more than happy to look after your dogs when u need it!! I'm currently in between jobs, so I have plenty of time to look after your dog. I also live with my partner who loves animals, so there is always someone around to provide care and time. I live in a flat, I dont have garden, but right in front of the building we have huge park, in agreement with the owner I'll respect all your wishes on safety with your dog.
Liverpool pet owners share their Rover experiences
Saoirse was fantastic at looking after Milo for us. We received regular updates and photos, and he seemed like he had the best time staying with her. She took such good care of him and we can tell he was shown so much love and attention. I think he was a little sad his own holiday was over when we picked him up 🥲 Milo became very fond of Saoirse and we will be booking again for our next trip very soon and all future trips. 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Will definitely be booking with her in the future 🫶 Thank you so much 🙏🙏

Really grateful to Sarah for taking such good care of our dog Marley. It’s so reassuring, when you go away on holiday, to know he’s in safe hands. Us, and the children, were very appreciative of the updates. We could see he was having an amazing time. Definitely put your trust in Sarah when it comes to your pet. We highly recommend.

Klaudia was amazing!! I’m so happy that I can feel at ease when leaving Teemo in her care. It was the first time Teemo met her, but she made him feel so comfortable and loved. We had to catch a flight and we booked her last minute , but she was so helpful and understanding. Thank you so much for your services xx

Sylwia and her partner were absolutely amazing with our dog! We were kept updated through various pictures. There were no issues whatsoever.
