About: I’m 52 years old and have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, including Jack Russells and Spaniels. My own dog sadly passed away a few years ago, and I now regularly walk my neighbours’ dogs, including a Cockerpoo and a Labrador. Having spent so many years around dogs, I understand that every dog is different and has their own personality, needs and routine. I’m confident recognising dog body language and knowing when a dog is happy, anxious, tired or needs some space. About: I’ve rescued and fostered so many animals over the years, so I’m used to getting to know different personalities and making sure each animal feels safe, comfortable and settled. My mum also has an 18-year-old senior rescue dog, so I understand that older dogs can need a little extra patience, care and attention, and that every dog has their own routine and needs. About: Ben has had dogs from a young age including 3 springer spaniels trained from puppies. One of those being a rescue from the age of 2 to senior age. Both of us (Ben & Jess) are used to looking after senior dogs on a regular basis but also used to energetic breeds that love to be outside on walks. Jess works full time in a school but is available during school holidays and at weekends. Ben can work remote and this is flexible during the week. Ben can also do weekends regularly. We have a private house with large fences and a garden for pets to use if boarding here is required. We have looked after dogs for up to 3 weeks at a time in a pet owners home. We understand the daily needs of pets during the day and how important exercise and attention means during the day.

I now live alone in a semi detached house with enclosed garden and driveway. Local parks and fields are a short walk away and I’m equally happy to drive your furry friend further afield if they travel well and enjoy a change of scenery. From frenchies to Great Danes all with different needs. I love making sure every four legged friend has their time filled with enrichment and being outside as much as they like. I am available Wednesday and Friday morning for a long walk (or run if your dog prefers) from 6-7:45am. If your dog is staying with me most mornings consist of breakfast, a good walk with enrichment games in the park. Then chill time. We can then get outside in the garden for more play and we can do as much walking as needed - our spaniel can be outside all day! We have a fenced garden and as we have a dog ourselves, we make sure both inside and outside nothing is left out or in easy reach. If inside the house I’ll do enrichment games with any fluffy guests and make sure they’re content. We also have enough space where if your dog, or ours isn’t comfortable, I have enough rooms to seperate them and I have experience of having a extremely nervous dog stay with me and it worked perfectly to give her her own space. Our spaniel is our everything so we make sure if your dog is with us, they’ll cared for just the same.
