“Andrew and has looked after our dog, Raffie, twice now, and we honestly couldn’t recommend him more. Raffie has had the best time on both stays and is always so well looked after. It’s clear he’s treated like one of the family, which gives us complete peace of mind when we’re away. One of Raffie’s favourite parts is spending time with their lovely dog, Corey. Raffie can’t wait to come back”

“Hugo is generally an anxious dog, but seemed very settled and happy to be in their home when we picked him up yesterday. We felt very confident leaving him with them for a couple of days and have already booked him in for our next trip away. Thank you Sally and Paul 🐶”

“Boarding our dog Milo with Timea was our first experience using Rover. We were really impressed with Timea throughout the process. She was friendly, communicated clearly during the booking and boarding process and most importantly cared for our furry friend with love and kindness. Timea wrote updates and was kind enough to send several photos and videos throughout our week holiday which we very much enjoyed receiving. We would be happy to board Milo with Timea again and would rest assured he would be happy, relaxed and well cared for. We would fully recommend. 5 stars!!”

“Chelsea looked after our Labrador for 2 weeks while we were away on holiday. Wilma appeared happy and healthy when we collected her and Chelsea had even given her a bath ready for our return.”

“Ralph had a lovely one night stay with Natalie and Marco. They sent tonnes of pictures and updates while he was there. He had some lovely walks and lots of love and attention. We would definitely book to stay again!”

About: Hi, I'm Ellie I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with both dogs and cats. Since moving into my own home, I've regularly looked after friends' and family's pets, and I absolutely love having them around. I live just a two-minute walk from Painswick and the playing fields, giving us plenty of space for great walks. I also have a secure, fully enclosed garden with 6-foot fencing where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. I work from home, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention and care throughout the day. I'm happy to follow their usual routine, whether that's walks, feeding times, playtime or just lots of cuddles. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I'll treat them as if they were my own. Whether they're energetic and love adventures or prefer a quiet day relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy and loved while they're with me.

“Perfect Rover host. Warm and confident, I was able to leave Dougal overnight on a first reassured he was going to be well taken care of. Plenty of messages and pics to let me know he'd settled in and was enjoying his stay. Thank you Lauren x”

“Everything great. Sean even spotted that we forgot to leave food when we dropped our lively border terrier off and stepped in to offer substitute, in the end not needed. Holly seemed very happy with her stay. Thanks a million Sean.”

“Tommy and his family kindly agreed to take our 2 Jack Russell’s - never easy as typical JRs! - and from the initial visit the dogs seemed at home, were in safe hands, and were going to receive all the care and attention they probably never get in a larger kennel environment. This made going away for a long weekend a much more relaxing time that it could have been. Tommy clearly had a love for animals and kept us updated throughout the weekend - again, a much valued way of knowing everything was ok. Would definitely re-book with complete confidence and fully recommend. Great to see someone with that passion trying to establish himself in this field too.”

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, so i’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I also regularly help family by looking after their dogs, including walking, feeding, and playing with them. I enjoy spending time with pets and getting to know them!! I am a student who loves football and family! This means I plan my time carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I’m currently on summer break, so I have more time to look after and get to know more pets!! When caring for a pet in their owner’s home or while on a walk, it is important to follow their routine and owner’s instructions to help their pet feel comfortable and safe, as I know each pet is different and requires specific attention. I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is in good hands. Lastly, I will make sure they get lots of attention and playing time!!

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely understand how important it is to trust the person caring for both your pets and your home. I’m an experienced pet owner, a cat rescue volunteer and an established self-employed professional who is used to working independently in clients’ homes. I’m reliable, observant and calm, and I take the time to understand each animal’s individual personality, routine and quirks rather than treating every pet the same. My aim is always to keep your pets feeling safe, settled and loved while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“We couldn't thank Olivia enough for the fantastic job she did looking after the cats. I have never had anyone other than family or friends look after the cats for me so was a little nervous getting someone externally in. Olivia visited me before the booking to discuss the care plan and to meet the cats and this helped put my mind at ease. Olivia did a great job of keeping me updated with daily photos of the cats and how they were which I loved receiving. When we go away again I will definitely be booking with Olivia again and would highly recommend her.xx”

About: I absolutely adore cats, every little quirk, purr, and independent streak! As a Bio‑Veterinary Science student working towards being a vet, I understand just how sensitive, clever, and particular they can be. Having looked after so many rescue cats over the years, I know their happy place is always their own familiar home, with no stress or big changes. I’ll keep everything exactly how you like it: fresh food, clean litter, gentle grooming, and giving medicine if needed — all at their own pace. If they want to curl up and snooze, I’ll sit quietly nearby. If they’re feeling cuddly and playful, I’m right there with love and attention. Shy, senior, sassy, or super affectionate, I treat every kitty like my own. And just between us: I worked in hospitality once, but honestly? Cats are way better company than any customer. Friendly, reliable, and I’ll send you lots of cute photos so you can see your little one is safe, happy, and loved.

“It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lauren for the care of my two BSH kittens. I had regular updates and cute pictures of all of Lauren’s visits. “Amazing, Emily and Dan took great care of our dogs, a Labrador and a GSD 6 month old puppy. Took them on a great walk and they got to play with their lovely dogs. We really loved all the photos we got so we could see how our boys were getting on. It was very clear from the first conversations we had and the questions they had from us that they love dogs and really cared about looking after them properly. We would definitely leave our dogs with them again.”

About: Peover Paws – Professional Dog Walking with Care at Its Core At Peover Paws, we believe dogs aren’t just pets — they’re family. That belief shapes everything we do, from how we match dogs for walks to how we communicate with owners. We are a family-run dog walking team offering calm, reliable, and personalised care. Our focus is on small, carefully matched social walks, ensuring dogs are walked with companions that suit their size, temperament, and energy level. This creates a relaxed, enriching experience where dogs feel safe, confident, and happy. A Thoughtful, Safe Approach Every dog is properly onboarded with a meet & greet so we can understand their needs and ensure they’re a good fit for our walks. We take a considered approach to group sizes and routines, allowing us to maintain consistency and high standards of care. We also have access to a private, secure field, giving us the flexibility to offer safe off-lead exercise in a controlled environment when appropriate. This is ideal for confidence-building, recall practice, and giving dogs the freedom to run and play without the risks of busy public spaces. Meet the Team Heather, founder of Peover Paws, brings experience, structure, and genuine care to every walk. Safety, consistency, and a calm approach are central to how she works. Doreen is a core member of the team with over ten years’ experience working with dogs. Known for her steady, caring nature, she builds strong, trusting relationships with both dogs and their owners. Both Heather and Doreen are DBS checked, fully insured, and trained in canine first aid, giving owners complete peace of mind that their dogs are in safe, capable hands. Our Values Everything we do is guided by five core values: Caring – every dog treated as an individual Dependability – reliable, organised, and consistent service Socialisation – positive, well-matched interactions Community – building long-term relationships with owners Safety – always prioritised, never compromised If you’re looking for a dog walking service that is professional, warm, and genuinely invested in your dog’s wellbeing, Peover Paws would love to welcome you and your dog. Pet care is central to my daily and weekly routine. Peover Paws operates on a structured schedule built specifically around dog walking and care, with dedicated time for walks, travel, safe group management, updates to owners, and ongoing monitoring of each dog’s wellbeing. Each day is carefully planned to allow for consistent routines, appropriate group sizes, and unhurried walks, ensuring dogs receive focused attention rather than being rushed between commitments. Time is also built in for communication with owners and for maintaining high standards of care behind the scenes. Because pet care is my primary professional focus, dogs in my care benefit from consistency, reliability, and a calm, well-organised approach every single week. Peover Paws specialises in professional dog walking and outdoor exercise, rather than in-home pet care. We focus on structured, safe, and enriching walks, with dogs collected from and returned to their owner’s home as part of our service. All dogs are handled calmly and securely, with careful attention paid to safety, routines, and individual needs. Walks are planned in advance, dogs are thoughtfully grouped, and owners are kept informed throughout. By concentrating on what we do best — high-quality dog walking — we’re able to maintain consistently high standards of care and ensure every dog receives the attention and supervision they deserve.

I regularly look after three dogs (a nervous but loving Cavapoo, a playful Chihuahua and a lively Hungarian Vizsla), so I’m used to caring for dogs with very different personalities, needs and energy levels. I love getting to know each dog individually and adapting their care to what makes them happiest, whether that’s long walks and exploring or a quieter day with plenty of cuddles. I always make sure I have your emergency contact details and any important information about your dog before their stay. I offer dog boarding, house sitting, doggy daycare, home visits and tailored walks. I always arrange a meet and greet beforehand so we can get to know each other and make sure it’s the right fit. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and give you peace of mind that they’re safe, happy and getting plenty of love while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I work from home when looking after pets, meaning they have plenty of company and won’t be left alone for long periods. I love getting outdoors and regularly enjoy walks around Altrincham and the local parks, so dogs can have plenty of exercise, enrichment and fresh air as part of their day For dogs staying with me, I create a calm, home-from-home environment where they can relax, enjoy walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I follow each dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, toilet breaks, medication and any individual needs or preferences. About: I’m a 19‑year‑old Bio Veterinary Science student working towards becoming a vet, so animals have always been my whole world! Growing up on a small beef farm and around horses my whole life, I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and geckos to livestock. I’ve gained hands‑on experience in vet practices, horse yards and farms, and I share my home with three rescue dogs - in fact, nearly all the animals I’ve cared for have been rescues. This means I’m fully confident giving medication, providing extra medical care, and understanding every pet’s unique needs, whether they’re shy, senior, or just need a little extra patience. I currently work in hospitality, but let’s be honest, I always found people’s dogs far more interesting than the customers themselves! Reliable, kind, and ready to give your furry friend exactly the care they deserve. I’m a university student studying Bio‑Veterinary Science, living at home with my own rescue pets so I’m fully used to daily care! My timetable is very flexible, with many online lessons and small contact hours — I drive locally, so I can easily fit visits and walks around my studies, with plenty of free time to give your pet my full attention. I provide all care in your pet’s own familiar home, no stress, no new environments, just keeping their normal routine exactly as you leave it. As an lifelong rescue carer, I understand their health, body language and boundaries perfectly. I’ll feed, groom, play, and give them calm, one‑to‑one attention; I also send regular photo/video updates, keep the home secure, and go the extra mile with little extras like watering plants or taking bins out so you can travel fully worry‑free.
About: - experience with large and small dogs - experience with pregnant cats and kittens from being newborn - have taken care of cats, dogs and rabbits of my own and for family and friends since being 10 years old - experience with shy/anxious cats - family breed bengals so I’ve been around cats since a very early age. I have plenty of time to spend with your pets and will treat them like my own. Having 3 cats myself I know they’re like family and because of this your pets will receive nothing but exemplary care. I’m available Monday to Saturday. In my own home I would ensure your pet has their own space which they feel safe in, with familiar comforts such as toys from home. In a pet owners home, I feel it’s important to stick to the pets routine and what they’re comfortable with. E.g. when taking care of a cat I will let them come to me.

I have cared for Kevin an outdoor cat for the last 15 years . I live in a rural area with a nine acre paddock which is perfect for walks , but am equally happy to walk local parks and I daily walk Tatton park . About: I’ve always had a love for dogs, starting with my Labradors, and now I’ve got an 8-year-old Cavachon named Hugo who keeps things interesting! What makes me different from other sitters is my real-life experience with all kinds of pups. I understand the energy of younger dogs and the special needs of seniors like Hugo. Plus, I’ve picked up some training skills along the way, so I can help reinforce good behavior while we’re out for walks. I’m all about keeping it fun and safe for the dogs, making me a great choice for dog walking! Having pets like Hugo really fits into my daily routine, especially since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I can easily take breaks to give him some attention, whether it's for a quick walk, playtime, or just some cuddles. Since I'm at home most of the day, I can keep an eye on animals, and ensure they get the care they need.My flexible diary allows me to adapt my work hours. Caring for pets in either my home or a pet owner's home involves providing consistent, loving attention tailored to each animal’s specific needs. This includes feeding them on schedule with the appropriate food, ensuring fresh water is always available, maintaining a clean environment, and offering regular exercise and playtime. In a pet owner's home, I follow their routines closely to reduce stress for the pet and provide companionship while they're away. I also monitor for any signs of illness or distress and communicate regularly with the owner to keep them updated. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
About: I have 10+ years of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets with special needs. When I was growing up there were always animals in my house. With my mother being a dog walker I am very used to dogs which need personalised care, including basic puppy training, administering medications, and extra patience for older dogs. My passion for animals ensures that every dog in my care receives the attention, affection, and tailored care they need to feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playful walks or calm companionship, I’m dedicated to creating a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I own two Pomeranians, Pablo who is 8 and Atom who is 1 1/2. They both love the company of other dogs and are very gentle. I am self-employed so I get to choose when and where I work. I am available to board weekdays and most weekends. I play hockey on Saturdays but I can be flexible with when I play if I am given enough notice. My garden is all fenced off as I have two small Pomeranians of my own which absolutely love the company of other dogs. My garden is also quite large so there is plenty of space to roam around.

“Gizmo loved his stay with Lisa...I think he would've quite happily stayed longer! Lisa was great and provided lovely updates of what they were getting up to and how Giz had settled in. Would happily send him there again! Thank you x”

“Our golden doodle had a lovely week with Andrew and his family with lots of fun and was included in family life. Communication was excellent with daily updates and a sense that Andrew was in tune with her needs and personality.”

“Chelsea looked after our Labrador for 2 weeks while we were away on holiday. She kept us informed on Wilma's wellbeing throughout the stay, sending us regular updates with photos which helped to keep our minds at ease.

“Thank you Maisie for taking great care of Caesar like he was your own. I got regular updates with pics and could see Caesar was having a great time. Lots of sniffy walks :) You took the time to understand his usual routine and adapted to his needs when he needed to eat chicken and rice. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook with you in the future.”

“My dog loved his time staying with Rhian and her partner James. He was really well looked after, got plenty of walks, and I’ll definitely want them to look after him again in the future. Thank you!”

“Roger had a great time with Emma and James. He was really settled when he returned home and tired after a long walk! Emma kept me updated . Absolutely no issues and highly recommend . Thank you .”

“Sarah and Luke looked after our dog Leo for 1 week while we were abroad. We could not have asked for a nicer couple. The regular updates on walks and cosy evenings were so reassuring. Their dog Rafa is great too and seemed to be very patient with Leo. We would strongly recommend their dog boarding service. Thank you Sarah and Luke for all your help! 🐶”

“Oakley and Joe took amazing care of our Cocker Spaniel x Lab, AJ! AJ came home very happy from his stay and we would absolutely book again with Oakley. Communication was excellent throughout and they kept us up to date with information and photos throughout the weekend. Oakley was also happy to be flexible with booking drop off and pick up times which was very helpful. Would 100% recommend!”

About: I've spent years caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments, from my family Cavachon to regularly looking after two Chow Chows and a Husky for friends. I occasionally work at a puppy yoga class in Manchester, where the puppies' wellbeing is the top priority. I particularly enjoy building confidence in nervous puppies and helping them feel safe and comfortable in new environments. Whether your dog is calm, energetic, shy or full of personality, I'll provide patient, reliable care tailored to their needs. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays (finishing at 12pm on Fridays), which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. I also work from home on some Tuesdays, and occasionally I have full weeks working from home, giving me even more availability. On the days I work in the office, I'm home by around 4pm, so I'm available for evening care and walks. I'm also free most weekends, making it easy to accommodate weekend bookings and provide dedicated care for your pets. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. In your home, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if required), and any house rules your pet is familiar with. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, while also respecting their individual temperament—whether they love lots of interaction or prefer a quieter approach. If caring for pets in my own home, they'll have a clean, safe, and relaxed environment where they can feel comfortable. I have a decent-sized garden, and I live directly opposite a field with plenty of lovely walking routes nearby, so dogs can enjoy regular exercise. They'll always have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, lots of attention, and plenty of love and supervision.
“Sade was really great for our springer spaniel Remy. She was able to take a booking last minute and even called so we could have a chat about our requirements. Sade asked all the right questions when we dropped Remy off and we went away feeling safe that he was comfortable and would be well looked after. We got update photos too! Highly recommended, thanks Sade 😃🐶”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I was lucky enough to share 11 wonderful years with my French Bulldog, Frank, who sadly passed away last year. Losing him was incredibly difficult, and although I’m not ready to commit to owning another dog just yet, I really miss having one around. Looking after other people’s dogs feels like the perfect way to enjoy their company while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. I understand how much pets mean to their owners because Frank was family to me. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, keeping to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of fuss and affection, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well looked after. I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own and keep you updated so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I run my own business from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and means I can give dogs plenty of time, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight stays, I can fit pet care around my work and ensure your dog is never left alone for long. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you always know how they’re getting on. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and any special requirements so they feel relaxed and at home. Having spent 11 years caring for my own French Bulldog, Frank, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. Sadly, Frank passed away last year, but the love I have for dogs hasn’t changed. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own, making sure they’re well exercised, supervised, and given plenty of affection, while keeping you updated every step of the way.
