“We are a little worried leaving our Fern with folks as she's recently rescued and still settling in. Andrew was very calm and patient with her and open to all our tips and tricks for continuing her good experiences with people during his drop in visit. Andrew was notably very communicative, reliable, and flexible in arranging the visit.”

About: While I’m new to Rover , I have owned and cared for dogs and other animals all my life . I’ve had hands on experience with different size dogs and personalities and bring a calm environment to ensure they feel cared for.I have had different breeds of dogs but currently own a frenchie and a pug . I have cared for Kevin an outdoor cat for the last 15 years . I live in a rural area with a nine acre paddock which is perfect for walks , but am equally happy to walk local parks and I daily walk Tatton park . I have cared for my own senior dogs and know the worries leaving a senior dog can cause. Happy to offer flexible care for your pets. I’m current retired and looking for something interesting and fun to fill my day. I’m a very organised and capable person, and can make myself available when needed. I’m happy to walk where owners recommend but can also offer a 9 acre paddock for them to walk in. Transportation would be via a seatbelt harness, to ensure full safety.
“Georgia took great care of my cat whilst we were away. She was fantastic at keeping us updated and sent lots of pictures through for us to see how he was getting on. He seemed really happy and relaxed when we got back- thank you!”

“Amanda is absolutely wonderful, so caring and attentive to what your fur baby needs. She is extremely reassuring and I felt so happy in the thought that she would be looking after our special ones. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you Amanda! 🌟🌟🌟”

About: I’m a 19‑year‑old Bio Veterinary Science student working towards becoming a vet, so animals have always been my whole world! Growing up on a small beef farm and around horses my whole life, I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and geckos to livestock. I’ve gained hands‑on experience in vet practices, horse yards and farms, and I share my home with three rescue dogs - in fact, nearly all the animals I’ve cared for have been rescues. This means I’m fully confident giving medication, providing extra medical care, and understanding every pet’s unique needs, whether they’re shy, senior, or just need a little extra patience. I currently work in hospitality, but let’s be honest, I always found people’s dogs far more interesting than the customers themselves! Reliable, kind, and ready to give your furry friend exactly the care they deserve. I’m a university student studying Bio‑Veterinary Science, living at home with my own rescue pets so I’m fully used to daily care! My timetable is very flexible, with many online lessons and small contact hours — I drive locally, so I can easily fit visits and walks around my studies, with plenty of free time to give your pet my full attention. I provide all care in your pet’s own familiar home, no stress, no new environments, just keeping their normal routine exactly as you leave it. As an lifelong rescue carer, I understand their health, body language and boundaries perfectly. I’ll feed, groom, play, and give them calm, one‑to‑one attention; I also send regular photo/video updates, keep the home secure, and go the extra mile with little extras like watering plants or taking bins out so you can travel fully worry‑free.

About: I have 10+ years of experience looking after cats and dogs in their owners’ homes, I provide reliable, loving care that keeps pets happy in their familiar environment. As a dog owner I understand how important it is for owners to feel comfortable that their pets are in the best hands whilst they are away. I am extremely flexible and can often drop in on your furry family members with short notice. I have my own dog, Waffle who is happy to stay at home whilst I visit her friends or join me on visits. I have a secure, fenced medium size garden, a secure shared green at the front of the house and a secure park a 2 minute walk away. I rehomed my own dog in October 2024, she is extremely friendly and the perfect companion for your dogs.
“Liv was brilliant from start to finish. We have a very confident cat and a very shy cat and she was so great with them both. The updates daily were lovely for putting our minds at rest while away. Would highly recommend for cat sitting!”

“Jennie has been great, super easy to communicate with and generally lovely. My dog, Gizmo, has quickly gotten comfortable with her. I’m sure he’s looking forward to future sleepovers”

“It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lauren for the care of my two BSH kittens. I had regular updates and cute pictures of all of Lauren’s visits. They looked very happy in her company and were in great health and spirits upon my return. I hope to use Lauren as my regular cat sitter going forward.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals for all of my life. Having grown up with cats, dogs and horses, I am very familiar with the individuality of each animal and the importance of catering for the specific needs of each of them. We have had cats in our family for as long as I can remember and our cats have mostly been rescue cats from the RSPCA. My grandparents have always had dogs, specifically spaniels, and I have been surrounded by both labradors and German shepherds through most of my childhood. More recently during my time at university, I spent two years dog walking once a week. The dog I walked was a German shepherd-lurcher cross rescue dog and the walks I took him on were the highlight of my week. I am comfortable around small, medium and large sized dogs. I have flexible working hours and schedule until 16th September. I’m currently waiting to start my law conversion course having finished my previous job. I therefore have lots of flexibility over the next two months. I live on a farm with two horses, three cats and a cow so unfortunately would be unable to look after any animals at my home. However I am more than happy to look after animals in their home environment and take them for walks if needed.
About: I've looked after dogs all my life and have extensive experience with dogs of all ages (puppy to senior). I work from home so am exceptionally flexible and will send you all the photos and reassurance you require to know your dog is well cared for. I live within walking distance of fields and Pickmere lake - perfect for dog walking both on or off lead. I work full time, from home. So am able to dog sit with flexibility for most days. I walk my own dog during my lunch break and in the evenings. I have a fenced garden only accessible through the house, so your dog will be perfectly safe. I also have multiple rooms that they may sleep in or be fed in if they prefer to be isolated from other dogs (particularly my own).
About: As an experienced sitter, I offer a flexible and trusted service tailored to your pet's needs. I have also worked as a a pet care assistant in a veterinary practice so have plenty of experience and understanding of all sorts of animals, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also worked in a doggy daycare, animal shelters, and boarded pets in my own home, ensuring they receive the same love and care they would at home. I have spare keys to my friends houses so I can easily drop in for pet checks, making me reliable and adaptable to any schedule. Your pet's happiness and safety are always my top priority. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet I care for. I plan my days around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and cuddle breaks, so your pet always gets consistent care and companionship. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I make sure every pet’s needs fit smoothly into my week. Having a nearby park and a yard also makes it easy to keep pets active and happy every day. When pets stay with me, I make sure they feel like part of the family. I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a fenced yard and a nearby park that’s perfect for walks and playtime. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine — including meal times, walks, play sessions, and cuddles — to help them feel comfortable and secure. Pets are free to relax, play, or nap wherever they feel most at ease. I keep water bowls full, provide plenty of potty breaks, and always give lots of attention and affection. When I care for pets in their own home, my goal is to maintain their usual routine and environment so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I follow all your care instructions carefully — from feeding and walks to medications and bedtime routines. I make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection, and I keep the home tidy and secure. I’ll also send photo updates and notes so you always know how your furry friend is doing.
“Lacy was great - very attentive and provided lots of updates! Also went above and beyond by spying a brush on a shelf and offering to feed the fish. I think the cats enjoyed her visits and playtimes, and I was reassured that they were being looked after well!”
