“Attended every session as planned, gave clear feedback on how everything was going with plenty of pictures to illustrate and was friendly and clear throughout the whole process. Would definitely ask to help again in the future.”

“Laura looked after my 2 cats for 1week. She send loads of photos twice daily which was reassuring to see them both so content. I will be definitely using her again and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, caring person and loves what she does”

About: I love walking dogs and able to walk the dog however long you want. I also work as a PA and take dogs to appointments if needed and vets. My job also entails giving dog medication when needed. I apologise for the unread responses I was in the process of moving house but I am all moved and settled so back to support with all your dog care needs I currently work full-time as a PA manager and able to make time around my schedule with notice to let the dog out to the toilet or change litter trays Changing litter trays for cats, walk dogs twice a day, feed them accordingly to feeding regime, give medication according to what is needed and however is needed I will do.
“Chloe clearly loves dogs and Shankly took to her straight away. They had a good walk and played games in the house on their return. We were kept updated with reports and photographs and we felt confident that Shankly had been well stimulated and cared for. Chloe came across as a lovely trustworthy person.”

About: I grew up on a farm and love having pets around. My partner Ana had a similar childhood and became a Vet. Our friends leave their pets with us when they go on holidays, so we are used to having animals in and out of the house. We try to only have one family at a time to avoid unnecessary stress on pets that don't know eachother. I work fully remote with flexible hours. I can take your dog out for walks during the day or keep a close eye on your pet if required. Being separated from your pet can be stressful and we know that first hand, but they will be treated as family and we'll give you frequent updates throughout their stay. Though we will have to agree what too many updates would look like, so I don't end up spamming you with too many of them. We have a friendly neighbourhood and a fairly large fenced and secure garden which we are aiming to cat proof soon as well. We have our own cat, Lizzie, who is very clingy with everyone she meets.
About: When I’m not caring for your dog I’m a social worker who cares for the elderly. I love being able to make a difference and support and care for someone else. I have cared for many dogs in the past. I have my own dog Harley who is a Sprollie. I believe dogs should feel safe, loved and properly looked after while their owner is away. In my free time I love walking, hiking and being a mum to both my son and doggy. I always look forward to getting out on a long walk. My happy place is definitely outside! I can work around you and your dogs schedule during the day or night. Making sure your dog feels at home in my house and you are stress-free, knowing your dog is getting the attention and care it deserves! - daily photos and updates will be given to the owner I have a good sized garden that is big enough for fetch and for your dog to explore. My garden is fenced. There are parks nearby in my area where I can walk your dog
“Andrea was great. Took the job on at really short notice and didn’t disappoint. Was really reliable and kept us constantly updated with pictures, messages etc. She had a genuine concern and care towards Esco and we will definitely be using her again! Thanks Andrea ”

About: Hi! I’m Viv an NHS project manager, living in Helsby with my husband and our sassy and smart torbie Copper, rehomed in 2019 from Warrington Cats Protection. I come from a family of cat lovers, and we’ve had cats since I was a baby so I’ve cared for cats from kitten to seniors. I love all animals and will happily take care of any other small pets in your household. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet(s), so you can be assured they are in safe, loving hands and well looked after. I work usual office hours, so can accommodate morning and/or evening visits. Morning visits will be around 7:30am, and evening visits after 5pm. All cats have their own personalities so | tailor the visits to whatever works best. I can do food, trays and water and a quick scritch, or lots of play and cuddles - whatever your cat prefers! I grew up with cats in rural Norfolk so 1 am comfortable removing any 'presents' - dead or alive. Catching live mice is a frequent occurrence in our house!

“We booked Gill for a house sitting for our 2 babies while we had a holiday away from them to recharge. Gill updated us every single day with photos of our babies. It was really reassuring and we could enjoy our holiday. Gill even cleaned our house, it was a big relief we didn't have to do it on arrival. Highly recommend her and definitely will use her again. Thanks 👍🙏”

About: I have owned pets my whole life, from hamsters to rats to rabbits to dogs...and I have walked neighbours, family and friends dogs since I was a teenager. Then in June 2024 I made it my full time job to do dog walking and pet sitting, meaning I have lots of experience with a wide range of breeds and temperament. For more reviews check out my Facebook page Woofing Good Walks. Dog walking and pet sitting is my full time so my day revolves around looking after your furbabies and giving them the best walks, or best playtime if it's a drop in visit! Pets safety is my number one priority so I will always make sure to keep them safe on walks and in your home. If there is anything out of the ordinary I will make sure to point this out to you i.e previous things I've mentioned to owners are blood in urine, mucus in poo, cut paw pads etc. I am fully insured and DBS checked (I can provide proof of these at a meet and greet) so you can have peace of mind when I'm out with your dog or doing a drop in visit at your house. I will never take on a booking without doing a meet and greet as this gives us chance to meet, for me to meet your furbaby and we can all get to know each other a little better.

“Sheena was everything we could have hoped for in a sitter. She gave us daily updates, along with pictures and video of our boy. We were left completely at ease that he was not only looked after but thoroughly enjoying his new friend! She definitely seems to have a way with cats. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be booking again.”

Halton cat owners share their Rover experiences
Natalie provided a fantastic service and kept us very well informed throughout our holiday. It was so easy going away having so much confidence that our Charlie was being well looked after. We are most grateful to Natalie and will definitely be requesting her help in the future. We came home to a very happy little cat. Thank you.

I can’t praise Kayleigh enough. It was my first time using Rover and I didn’t really know what to expect. Kayleigh was both friendly and professional and suggested a meet & greet before we went away. She is such a lovely person and you can tell she genuinely has a lot of love and care for animals. I felt at ease with her straight away. I would 1000% choose Kayleigh to look after our cats again and will be highly recommending her. Thank you! X
