About: We are the proud parents of a 7 year old spaniel who we have had since he was a baby! We’re the kind of people who throw our dog an elaborate birthday party, and would love getting to hang out with (and maybe spoil a little bit) your dog too! We both work from home - Naji full time, and I have 1 office day which I can move as and when needed. Our lives revolve around dogs, whether in the house, playing or having cuddles, or out for long walks! We are flexible with routine, so if you can let us know what a normal day in your dogs life looks like we will follow that structure to help them feel as settled with us as possible. As pet parents ourselves we understand how special your pet is and would always treat them with the same love and care as we want our boy to be treated. While with us they would be another member of our family and get all the cuddles and play time they want! We have a big garden with a tall fence so your baby will be nice and safe when playing outside. We’ll send you lots of photos and updates about what your baby is getting up to.
“Wot can I say but a great big thankyou, richard loves coming to your home were he is made welcome and part of your family, videos and picture are amazing and he is having best time ever, chloe keeps me updated throughout his visit I am at ease whilst I am in work and richard having best time thankyou”

About: I’ve had my 2 dogs for 10 years from puppies,I know how difficult it is leaving pets with other people but I can assure you yours pets will be treated like my own when they are with me My shift pattern gives me a lot of free time during the day,so I’ll be around to take care and get plenty of walking done I have a fenced front and back garden where the dogs can run around and they are unable to escape, also there’s a field directly outside

About: I grew up on a farm and love having pets around. My partner Ana had a similar childhood and became a Vet. Our friends leave their pets with us when they go on holidays, so we are used to having animals in and out of the house. We try to only have one family at a time to avoid unnecessary stress on pets that don't know eachother. I work fully remote with flexible hours. I can take your dog out for walks during the day or keep a close eye on your pet if required. Being separated from your pet can be stressful and we know that first hand, but they will be treated as family and we'll give you frequent updates throughout their stay. Though we will have to agree what too many updates would look like, so I don't end up spamming you with too many of them. We have a friendly neighbourhood and a fairly large fenced and secure garden which we are aiming to cat proof soon as well. We have our own cat, Lizzie, who is very clingy with everyone she meets.
“Rachel is really lovely and welcoming. Travis went running straight in and when I went to pick him up, he kept going back over to Rachel. I got updates throughout the day which is really reassuring and it is lovely to see that he is settled, comfortable and clearly being cared for to a high standard while with someone else. I would definitely recommend Rachel and use her again if I need someone!”

“It was Leo's first time, and was smooth sailing. Right from the booking until picking him back up, it was no fuss. We were kept updated throughout and were happy to hear that he coped rather well despite it being his first time, which is all thanks to Lisa! Would definitely rebook!”

“Jodi looked after Mocha today and she was absolutely brilliant. She kept me updated with lovely pictures, which really put my mind at ease. Mocha was clearly very happy and well cared for. Jodi did a fantastic job – she’s kind, reliable, and very caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to look after their dog. 🐾❤️”

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
