“Thank you Jack for taking care of Phoenix so well! I really appreciated the updates during the day and Phoenix was so lovely and calm when I picked him up. I'd recommend you to anyone!”

“Mabels second stay and there will definitely be more! Such kind, caring people. Can tell they have such a passion for dogs. Mabel is clearly very happy going to stay. Grateful to have found such lovely people”

“So friendly and what a lovely place for my dog to stay too!!! I was reassured from our first meet that Finnley would be taken care of & seeing him so happy when I picked him up, I was so overjoyed. I'll definitely be using your services again in the very near future! x”
“Bailey was really well looked after and had a fantastic walk at the beach with lots of new sniffs to take in. He had a bit of an upset tummy from eating fox muck the day before but fortunately no accidents in the house & just a bit of diarrhea on the walk. Sonia was really accommodating as I let her know before the visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. *****”

About: ive been around animals all my life, all different types and breeds. im really good with animals. i enjoy taking care of them. i am attending an animal course im around animals all day, and would like to have a job with animals to have more experience. i enjoy being around animals. i love them. i will make sure they are well looked after, with food and water when they need it. i will make sure to play with them to keep them entertained
About: Nothing gives me greater joy than taking care of animals. I have taken care of dogs for the best part of my life with over 25 years of experience. I am currently studying towards a level 3 diploma in canine welfare & behaviour. Looking after dogs is my passion and I am at my happiest around them, wether that be with our own family pet, a six month cockapoo called Sunny or your four legged friends. I currently offer walks and drop ins and all my walks are 1:1 with your dog or dogs so I can give them my undivided attention. I want you and your fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible so I offer a meet & greet if you feel you would like that in order for me to get to know your pet and any particular needs they may have followed by a free introductory short walk to give your dog or dogs the chance to get to know me. Or if you know your dog is comfortable around new people and you'd like me to just get straight to taking your pet out that's absolutely fine too, I'm happy to just have a conversation on here to get to know your pets needs and cover some basic information such as is your dog reactive, anxious, do they have any triggers etc and most importantly are they allowed a treat whilst out and about! I am fully insured. I work from home and my diary is determined by myself so I am available most days and at short notice if needed as I can change my schedule to suit you. I am fully insured. We do have two fenced gardens, but presently I am not boarding as we have a six month old puppy that is still settling in so I am only currently offering drop ins and walks. It's important to reiterate that i do not take my dog along on walks with your pets, they will have my full attention. I have experience with both large and small dogs and I currently regularly walk a variety of different breeds. I have looked after many anxious dogs and I'm pleased to say I have never not won any of them round and it's really rewarding to earn their trust and eventually see them eagerly waiting for me to go out on an adventure. I will only ever let your dogs of the lead with your permission and if that's something you would like me to do, I generally wait until we have been on a couple of walks and know each other a bit better. I have worked with dogs that are overweight for various different reasons and have provided lots of stimulation and exercise to help them back to a healthier weight range. I have worked with dogs providing multiple drop ins and walks per day when their owners have been on holiday and I've also administered oral medication when needed. I will always follow the owners lead and I am always open to answering any questions no matter what they are as I understand that trusting someone with your pet is not always easy.
“Charlene is incredibly positive and extremely attentive. Many sitters on the platform seem to treat dogs like furniture, but Charlene truly sees animals as individuals with their own personalities. We are here on holiday, and if I ever come back to this city, I wouldn’t trust my Orbit with anyone else. With Charlene I feel absolutely confident that my dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.”

About: I love animals and lifeforms of all types really, I'm the type to pick up worms from the pavement and put them back on the grass. But I particularly love dogs. I have had dogs for almost my whole life (Labradors, Golden Retrievers, King Charles Cavalier, Shelties). I have looked after other people's dogs often and always enjoy the experience. Dogs are treated very well here with lots of affection and attention. Currently at home full time but I do go out for a few hours occasionally. I don't leave my dog alone for more than a few hours. When a new dog is here, it wouldn't be that long. My dog Molly is very friendly with dogs and humans. She is now completely blind so I have to take a bit of extra care with her, but she can still go for walks and enjoy her food and strokies. There is only myself and my 6 year old son at home, with Molly our Golden Retriever. We have a small yard for toileting, and we go to the park or other locations for exercise. Safety is paramount. I know what it is like to go on holiday and worry about your dog - you have no need to fear! I am very careful - I know where I am going when out and about and if dogs are let off leashes, it is in a safe environment away from roads and other hazards. I have a large ground floor which gives dogs space to be in a few different rooms. Upstairs is humans only. Meals and medication will be given according to the owner's precise schedule. I encourage a visit so that you can briefly see my home and meet us.
About: I work from home and been pet sit / dog walking for over years, usually taking bookings through referrals, Rover is now as an extra platform 💕 I often forget to come and block my days That's being booked offline, so feel free to DM and check 🥰😘 I love all animals, but always having a special place in the heart for dogs. Everyday is a new experience when you meet new pups & for sure is never a dull moment, and there's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I have much experience ranging from puppy to senior dogs and I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them, and lucky for me had some real guidance from the dog whisperer Cesar Millan in person and learned quite a lot from him of how to communicate with dog better, therefore, I'm proud of myself that I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I'm pretty flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, or if there's anywhere in particular you'd like your dog to visit, just let me know. Looking forward to meet you and your fur babies. I work remotely running my own online business, which gives me the freedom to be flexible with dates (as long as there’s a strong internet connection—I do rely on that wherever I go). With a decent size house and back yard I'm living in, and a huge park right across the road, this would be beneficial for boarding. In addition to pet sitting, i always helped to do some simple grooming for my neighbors and mom's dog and they always loved the results. After all, love spending time with all kind of animals, I hope I get the chance to meet and care for your furry kids!
“Laura was amazing! We have never left Whiston before and were very anxious especially with him being diabetic. But it couldn't of gone better Laura kept us up to date at all times and photos which put our minds at rest we will definitely being taking our little boy back thank you x”

About: I've took care & loved dogs in my Family home since I can remember, so when I moved into my flat I just had to have one of my very own. I'm very committed and doted on my furry humans. We regularly see her Brother 'Ralphie' alot too, I like to keep them entertained and happy at all times. - love walking them as I'm very active anyway! I take great pride in my passion for making all animals safe/secure/content & most importantly happy. - All my friends would call me Dr Doolittle! Pets are my first priority, I wouldn't have any problems looking after others, Inc my own. I'm flexible and can time manage my own career hours. I live in a flat where I have a shared communal garden, that has no pets whatsoever init. I often let mine out so sniff the flowers and have a run around, between walks! I have a large flat, that has a separated kitchen/spare room so my dog is safe and if she wants she can walk around the flat with ease (all on one level) I tend to keep the spare room shut and the rest of the doors open for her. She's nosey and wants to go in every room usually anyway! I can keep a keen eye on her, I keep everything off the floor that isn't hers, I make sure she has puppy pads if need be, I've had 3 (small) dogs all together in my large flat up to now and it's been great. - Lots of space to play around and watch them having fun!

Wirral dog owners share their Rover experiences
James very kindly looked after my old lab while I went into see the sights of Liverpool for the day. Arthur was super happy, enjoyed his walk and all the attention he got. James is experienced and calm, and I was very confident leaving my fur baby in his care. Thanks James!

I left my little dog in Charlene's care while I was on holiday, and she treated him just like I do, like my baby. I was so happy. We spoke every day, and she sent me photos and videos showing that he was doing very well. I had to pick him up on Monday, but I am currently stuck in Abu Dhabi, and since she had to travel, she couldn't look after him anymore, so I found another place and she very kindly dropped him to the new hotel. She is such a lovely person, I am so grateful to her for looking after my baby and for the favour she did for me. 1000% recommended!
