“Lola absolutely loves coming to doggie day care! She gets so excited to go every time and never wants to leave, sometimes even to the point she has to be carried out the house because she refuses to move! She’s so well looked after there and is always completely knackered when she comes home. Highly recommend”

“Indy had a great time with Sophie. We booked her in for a daycare session to get to know Sophie and her home environment. Indy instantly made herself at home and made friends with Sophie's dog Simba. During the stay Indy went on a lovely walk in the local area and Sophie even sent a couple of videos. Hightly recommended - we've already booked Indy for an overnight stay in a few weeks.”

“I send my puppy and two year old dachshunds to Chelsea She is genuinely amazing I was very nervous to leave them with anyone as they are very needy and the two year old has sever separation anxiety but has got on perfect with her. She kept me up to date and contacted me throughout the day. It was clear the dogs had the best day her dogs are amazing also I would highly recommend. She's amazing 🩷”

About: Hi I am Nicola I have had dogs all my life from the age of 6 the best day ever when we returned from school to a puppy! I have cared for a variety of Breeds throughout my life allowing me to be confident with any breed of dog, I use to work with retired greyhounds which including feeding, walking, grooming and bathing them. Being around animals makes me happy. I left school and went to an agriculture college where I gained a degree In Equine science. I have always had dogs they make life a happier place and I always thought about starting my own dog walking / sitting business, unfortunately my dog of 17 years passed away 3 weeks ago and not having a dog in the house doesn’t feel right and that’s why am here, I want to turn my thought into a reality! I have 3 children who are all dog mad, they will never be left alone with your fur babies but I know they will love having a dog back in the house and walking them if they are with me. I am self employed at home so I can give your dog all the attention they need and they will be made to feel like my home is there home. I love walking and being outside in all weathers and having a dog to do that with is the best. I live within walking distance of the most beautiful walks! I have a large garden which is 1000% safe and plenty of room in the house for your dog to choose where they want to make themselves comfy. I am available for daily walks, pop ins, and home boarding. Your dog will be treated like our own given all the attention and taken on adventures with us. I have recently moved to Ormskirk and have been running my own dog boarding and walking business previously, but I am back on rover and can’t wait to offer my services to the area xx I currently work from Home so I am always here and have plenty of time for walks and cuddles throughout the day. Dog walking and dog sitting is perfectly suited to myself. I have a well fenced Garden to the rear of my house, which is large and a perfect sunbathing garden which our dog use to love to do! I will follow your instructions on all aspects of your dog daily Routine, feeding times and walking times, so that they feel like they are at home.
“Milo enjoyed his first visit with Catherine and is looking forward to go again over the next week. Nice garden to play in and local fields to be able to have a run or play with the ball. Great communication before and during the stay.”

“Thank you so much Juisana for looking after Milo at such short notice. We received a prompt reply and the dates we requested were confirmed very quickly. Milo has had a lovely time with you and was very well looked after and cared for. We will definitely be booking you again if we need to. Thank you again ?”

“Apollo adores his time with Alba. He will run to her front gate and his tail wags like mad Alba keeps you so up to date with pictures and messages, so you never have to worry if your dog is having a nice time. To trust your dog with someone is big, but we trust Alba completely and she is always our first pick”

About: Hi, I’m Chloe! 🐾 As a huge dog lover, I know how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with your furry family member. My aim is to make every dog feel safe, loved and happy while you’re away, giving you total peace of mind. I offer doggy daycare, dog walking and drop-in visits, and I tailor every booking to your dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddles on the sofa or simply keeping to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. You’ll receive regular updates throughout the day, including photos and messages, so you always know how your dog is getting on. I understand how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you’re apart. Safety is my top priority. I take the time to get to know every dog, learn their routine and understand any special requirements they may have. I’m happy to arrange a free meet and greet beforehand so you and your dog can get to know me. I treat every dog as if they were my own and love building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. I look forward to meeting you and giving your dog a fun, caring and reliable experience every time they’re with me. 🐶 Doggy Daycare 🐕 Dog Walking 🏡 Drop-in Visits 📸 Daily photo and video updates 💛 Free meet and greet available I currently only part time on a Monday and Tuesdays so have plenty of time for fun dog walks and looking after your little furry friends. About: Hi! We’re Tee and Bradley, a dog-loving couple based in the North West. We recently lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after 16 wonderful years, and while we’re not ready for another dog of our own just yet, we’ve been caring for other people’s pups through Borrow My Doggy so have plenty of experience with looking after others dogs - not just our own! Due to the fact we’ve looked after our own older dog, we are used to medication routines, more gentle days however we’ve also got experience looking after puppies as young as six months so can help continue any training and keeping them occupied so they don’t chew all the furniture!! We have done days, weekends and even 10 day stays with these dogs and we truly care for them like they are our own - loved by our entire family and friends! We both work flexibly and spend a lot of time at home, so your dog will always get plenty of attention, cuddles, and company. We’re comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior sweethearts, and treat every dog as if they’re our own. Whether you need day care, overnight stays, or just someone who truly gets how special your dog is, we’d love to help. 🐕💛 Both myself and my partner work from home, therefore one of us is always in - usually both of us! As we’ve had Lacey the entire time we’ve lived in our house, and I’d had her since I was 10, our lives are more than adapted to having a dog, we can fit numerous walks in, plenty of cuddle time and your dog has full roam of the place! We do go out - of course - but almost everywhere we go is dog friendly (including our gym!) so your pup will be with us! We can adapt around your pups schedule as we are fairly laid back, plus we have plenty of parents and grandparents who we go visiting with your pooch giving them even more love We have a lovely two bed terraced house which has a small enclosure garden space, however we are surrounded by farmers fields, forests and a canal! We also have a huge field right across the road so in between meetings I try to take the dogs for a runaround on there and then we’ll do a bigger walk around one of the many options we have! Depending on what your dog prefers we’ll decide where to take them - all of our walks are primarily off road. We have a ring camera inside our living room for if we ever did leave your dog alone (if this was agreed) which we’d be more than happy to share with yourselves for peace of mind - again we had this from when we had our elderly girl so we could always get back if she needed us We both adore dogs, they will get the most amount of love, all the dogs we look after I send daily updates to their owners, with pictures, what they’ve done that day and any other information if I feel they need to know (upset stomachs, etc) We know what it’s like to have to leave your dog and the worry, so we try to just give the best peace of mind, we’ll have a phone call before the dog sit so we can run through all of the needs of your dog and we also have a slight “template” of a doc (one we used for lacey) which we can send you to fill out with all the information!

“Dennis stayed with Daniela for 2 days! We were very nervous leaving him for the first time with worries of him being an energetic boisterous mischievous puppy. I can not recommend Daniela enough. She was incredibly amazing with him. She made him feel part of the family instantly. Her passion and love for animals really shines through. Daniela looked after Dennis incredibly well as it shown in the regular pictures and updates she gave us. Dennis had lots of cuddles, lots of fun and most important I feel he felt loved which was important to us. She made Dennis feel settled and right at home. Her ability to adhere to his care needs as a puppy was tremendous. Dennis can be crazy but she embraced this with laughter and calmness and patience. We feel very lucky to have found her. We could not recommend Daniela enough she and her family are wonderful people ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Daisy seemed very happy for her day at Joyce's, they had a lovely walk in the woods (nice n cool) we will definitely be back, it's a lovely home and Lilly is so playful and friendly 😊”

“Rosalind and her partner are both amazing people and amazing with animals! I received frequent updates on my pup, he enjoyed himself self so much. Would definitely recommend leaving your dog in her care. You can rest assured they would be well looked after!”

“Really really happy with our overall experience with James. Good communication, beautiful big home, as soon as I got there both myself & my American bully x staff, Lync, felt at ease. James is a lovely character, very trusting and friendly. Would recommend anyone to go with James for their own furry friends! 🐶🐱🐹🐰 Thanks again James for having Lync! He had the best time & I had a nice tired pup when we got home😂😇 Much appreciated, will definitely use again! Brilliant experience🤙🏽”

“Olivia was fantastic with Bonnie. She was flexible to fit in with our travel arrangements and sent through lots of photographs and a video of her enjoying the fields near Olivia's house and then chilling in the Garden. Would definitely use again.”

I also have a very friendly Dachshund called Ollie, and my cat, Bacon. They get along brilliantly and are best friends, so they’re both used to sharing their home with other animals. If needed, I have a pet gate to keep pets separated, giving everyone their own space to settle in and feel comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel safe, happy and at home.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
